Just dump "AAA" games altogether like I did. Now my time playing games is just generally better and more fun. No predatory business practices, actual unique concepts, no soulless live service slop. Gaming is just better outside of the AAA space.

You've now shown that you will release sequels on PC. PC Players have 0 problems waiting, there are thousands of games we can play in the meantime. We aren't sitting here foaming at the mouth to play a single video game...
Maybe you'll entice about 5 to 10% of the buying base of your first games, but that's not a lot. They likely won't be subscribing to PS+, which is what you want, and they likely won't be buying any other games except your exclusives, which makes you no money. So I don't see where the strategy of delaying SP "exclusives" comes from... It isn't coming from a desire to make more money. Sony's infamous for holding onto a rope so much their hands bleed.

Unless it does the exact same as the Battlefield 5 Reveal Trailer, but I do have some hope, that they can't be as cringe as that.
Have you been paying attention to Call of Duty the past few years? Every reveal has been met with ridicule and if they weren't laughed out the building, the game itself was when it released and people saw how bad they were.
I never had any expectations for Sony, yet they still manage to disappoint me.

i had this mod that apparently moves the habitats of fish around and one of the leviathans got stuck in the ground and slapped it's tentacle through the geometry and sent my sub into the deadzone and i haven't had a jumpscare like that in a while

People expecting Ghosts 2, Bloodborne remaster/2 and other high profile titles on an random last day of the month before "summer of games" that lasted for 30min was pure copium in my eyes. I went in with extreme lowered expectations and even then was disappointed. I mean GoW Ragnarok on PC is nice, but it requires PSN and that might make me not buy it (still debating), but everything else was so mid.
You know Sony had nothing to show when they spend 10min of a 30m show on a new 5v5 hero shooter that wants to be a mix of Overwatch / Valorant with quippy characters like Guardians of the Galaxy. I dunno who they are trying to cater to, because those audiences already are playing the established games. People thinking that this can be another Helldivers 2 situation are wrong, because Concord is not Coop PVE team based shooter.
I think this is finally the time for Microsoft to come out swinging with their releases at their own conference and one up Sony, because they literally have nothing to show for this year.

I can give more info on infinity nikki,the studio made a 2d dress up called love nikki, then a 2.5d dress up game called shinning nikki. Both dress up games are mobile games.
Now the studio released a trailer on this game “infinity nikki” but the trailer was first revealed about a year ago.
I didn’t see the state of play so I don’t know if it’s the same exact trailer or not. But from what I’ve seen from their announcement trailer is that it seems to be a 3D puzzle platformer (like Spyro or banjo and kazooie) with outfits that give you different powers.
My favorite thing from the state of play is the new damage control I saw in comments, where fanboys are now claiming state of play is not a presentation.. well.. then what is it? 😂

Of course. A company wants to show what they can (without ruining projects) to the consumer. This just happened to be one of those "showcases" for Sony. Something that's basically normal for Microsoft.

As an ex-Playstation user, I'd much rather play on PC months or years later than ever buying again the same damn game on a console and then again on the next gen console with little to no enhancements... I still do use my Xbox Series X where I can play my Xbox 360 games with my nephews, Xbox One games with better graphics and then of course Series X games... I remember when I got TLOU1 on my PS3 and then got my PS4 and had to buy it again... Also got the Uncharted and GoW collections for PS4 when I had already played some of them on PS3 🤦🏻♂️ what a disgrace this company is... Never again

The 3 things that got my attention: GoW Ragnarok for PC (cuz sweet dont need to buy a useless white box that I'll inevitably forget i have)
The Dynasty Warriors game has my attention but thats more because I've been a DW fan forever since the PS2 (specifically DW4) and so im a bit biased towards it... still not enough to get me to go buy a PS5 though
And last was the new Monster Hunter game because im a Monster Hunter fan... again not enough to get me to abandon my pc for a Plastic box that Ponies absolutely praise more then the Bible
don't care for God of War. Never really got into the older games. Dynasty Warriors though? Ugh yes! Of course... if it's exclusive... that means I'm waiting until it releases on Xbox. Same with Monster Hunter. If Rise was anything to go on, it's that Capcom either want money or don't like releasing Monster Hunter to every platform (that can play it) day & date.

Long time Alien fan and I can safely say please give us AVP. That was one of my most favorite games on the 360.
I'm definitely hyped for monster hunter cause I love those games, but I know it will be on Xbox and PC. Other than those, I will have to wait til June 9th to see what else I can be hyped for.
So as someone who was once firmly in Sony's camp (had Playstation consoles since the beginning all the way up to PS5, was unimpressed with PS5 and found myself having more fun on the Steam Deck decided to make the transition fully.) Idk what the fuck Sony is doing with their strategy. The state of play was definitely pretty poor. Sure that someone popped off for these games, but very few of them are anything worth buying a PS5 for. And I say this as someone who still has a PS5. All of these great sequels to games that they've brought to PC hasn't made me want to buy them on PS5. I'll just wait for the PC port. Astro Bot I might buy, because the first game was free on PS5 and alongside Demon's Souls Remake probably the only worthwhile thing I played on the console. And Bloodborne, which is never coming to PC because Sony hates money, will come to PC before Astro Bot or Astro's playroom comes to PC. Which is a damn shame, because the first game is just beyond charming.
Also I get why your confused by Until Dawn coming to PS5 and PC day and date. But keep in mind that it was a PS4 game originally and not one that did as well as the other big franchises. Most people on PS5 can play the original, if they've already played the PS4 version they're not going to run out and get this one. It's not "Last of Us" best game ever. /s
So they probably realize that it's best to just pull the trigger and bring it to PC at the same time because that's the best chance they have for sales. And that doesn't go against their stance on releasing new games on PS5 and bringing them to PC later. Even if you could argue it's a stretch. I feel like most people aren't going to argue over Until Dawn coming to PC same day as PS5 goes against that.

Hell, didn't even bring up where the announcement of Sony's showcase (aka this SOP) was between the Xbox showcase's announcement and this SOP's Nintendo inspired day before announcement.

I was considering buying a PS4 in order to play Dragon Quest XI because I don't trust Valve to not take games away from me if they give 30 days notice to change their Steam terms of service (sorry if I am being too distrustful of Valve, but the last game system I owned in the then current generation was the SNES, and I just bought the PS2 (for Dragon Quest VIII, used, no network connectivity, so uffda ü, SonyPSN!!!), so I am not used to games being able to be taken from me at the whim of any megamillion dollar corporation!)...
...but now? Sony PSN, I am very sure that I couldn't trust you with dirty laundry, and I don't want cooties from your used PS4 in my home!

Baffling that monster Hunter Wilds was just glossed over like that, I hate that it was shown off on State of Play, it isn't even a playstation property and despite it being the best thing is the show, the show was so shit that it's dragging the game down
I feel like they begged capcom for a trailer, which also fits with a theory people had at SGF where the state of play trailer and the SGF one were meant to be one whole trailer.

People are saying that because they either don't understand the business level of things or don't care and wanna insult someone/something. Sure, Microsoft shutting down those 2 studios and basically leaving most of the people jobless is just wrong, but that's it. They didn't institute some unnecessary ban/rule or hiked the price on anything without reason.
I know it's 4 studios that got shuttered, but 2 of them were mobile game studios that produced utter garbage, so no love lost there.
Xbox is falling apart. From the lack of games, to the closing of studios, to the consoles not selling well. Xbox is absolutely fumbling at everything. It was bad in the Xbox One generation and it's only gotten worse since then.
We can say what we want about Sony but at least they make games to play. What has Microsoft done at all since the Series consoles launched? Make Hi-Fi Rush and then shut down the studio while allowing the Forza franchise corpse to continue being paraded around?
