Dope video! I definitely would have recommended still taking the head to a machine shop where they can pressure test it. Hairline cracks would be nearly impossible to see with the naked eye. But dope build none the less!
Trueee truee. That was an option also. But engine came from running car and had no issues with cooling or anything and shops were backed up on work. So I just sent it haha. We will see what will happen
@@DanielPak1 awesomeness 🍻 please keep me posted on your build! I, for one, is curious on the dyno chart from the M54 in conjunction with tuning and other mods done to your motor. From what I have read is that, the M54 cam will show gain in the low to a mid range RPM and not much in the upper range; while, the S52 cam will show gain at a higher RPM but somewhat lacking from low to mid range. These what intrigued me. Or, perhaps with some fine tunings and other stuffs done here and there that the M54 will present a somewhat similar dyno chart as found on the S52? Again, please keep me posted, Sir! 🍻 Subscribed 👍🏻
@@LemaL027 I think the s52 cams are superior to all the OEM cams. The m54 has a longer duration compared to the m50/m52 cams. But the S52 cams have a longer duration than the m54 cam.. the S52 cams will have greater torque both high and low rpms

This is fire bro!
Thanks man!
Ive heard you dont want to use ARP main studs without having the block line-honed. You had any issues?
I've heard that too. But I've had zero issues so far.
Nice build! Mind if I ask on your decision in opting the M54B30 intake cam instead of the S52 intake cam? Thanks
I had the m54 cam... S52 cams are really overpriced. Maybe in the future I might run them
@@DanielPak1 Thanks for your reply! Is there any dyno result? I am curious to see the end result after tuning and what nots. Again, awesome build 👍🏻
I'm using RK tunes obd1 chip tune. Will be updating on this build once engine is in the car
