The same thing happened to my zephyrus g15 (2022). Even best buy wasn't able to fix it. They said that they needed to replace the motherboard but I got an exchange for a new Strix Scar 16 (2023). I know that it is because of an automatic bios update. That is why I don't update the bios for my new laptop anymore. I'm scared that the problem might happen again in a $4000 gaming laptop.
I also experienced this problem on strix g16. No bios recovery kick in, so i just unplug everything except power, turn on, and wait on a blank screen. After less than 1 hour, the laptop boots itself to Windows 😮
@@hoomanmousavinasab8 search for asus laptop black screen it will find video how to start bios update when not finished. its similar or same i described
Here my copy paste to the solution that resolve this problem a few minutes ago (I have Asus Rog Strix Scar 18 G834JZ bios 324 I was activated undervolt option, I saw can be do any problem after update with any version, I didn't have any problem in previous versions of bios ) that I have posted in Reddit, I hope to help to someone: With the laptop turned off, I pressed the power button for about 50-60 seconds and after I stopped pressing the laptop it turned on, I was holding F2 for like 1 minute and the BIOS menu could be seen, F9 to reload the default settings , F10 to save and exit, I turned on, it didn't boot up properly (it turned off without booting anything ) and I turned on again and under the logo I saw the circle reloading and finally I can enter Windows fine as usual.
@@smartpineapple6091 I pressed and held the power button while it was disconnected then I released the power button and followed the same steps to power on the system but now it is still stuck at the black screen .. may I know how it was fixed for you?
