I just undervolted my i7 13650hx and my result is 76 cc it was 95 cc in the beginning and my score 21773 in the result but in the beginning its like 19900
Can you share your undervolt values?
Share it bro!!
Thank you very much for this beautiful video. So, should I do the setting you gave for undervolt with Bios in i7 13650hx? My product is Rog strix g16 i7 13650hx rtx 4070.
i wanna know i have same laptop what unverolts did u apply
@@sanaan0168 u undervolted it?
If I am not use any setting from BIOS and not update BIOS too, then just directly use XTU for undervolt, is it still possible and still safe too?
One of the better options if we exclude the ridiculous price, especially for 4090 + miniLED. But until they fix it fully, it's not worth it, I say. I'm waiting. Dell Legions seem to be worse this year, not much left to choose from, frankly. I haven't looked at XMG yet.
wot u mean with fix it fully?
have you taken the heatsink off on the SCAR 16? I read that the liquid metal is leaking on most units.
How about scar 16 4080 version?
The BIOS is actually limited to -30. They did not change the INFO text.
Maybe you are not on updated bios?
I was lead to believe you cant physically damage a machine by undervolt ? as your not adding voltage.
The problem is that switching profiles in armory crate interferes with xtu undervolt
simple guide. Don't run 4090 in this chassis and also simply setting multiplier is enough
will same undervolting settings works with 14900HX?
Hello, I just bought this laptop today. Do I need to do the overclocking and undervolting procedures in this video? I will use the laptop mostly for games and blender-like applications. Does undervolting or overclocking cause any long-term harm?
- offset wont hurt your laptop only +
Asus Scar 16 VS Alienware M16? (4090)
What to choose and why?
alienware has temperature issues, bad software (alienware center or whatever) and if im not mistaken undervolting is locked
Do you happen to be doing the same this for the scar 17 just picked on up wanting to get the maximum out of it!
Do I need to manually run Intel XTU every startup ?
hi I just got a Asus ROG Strix SCAR G16 G634JYR-RA029W, does it not support XMP-Profile? ( I upgraded to 2x G.Skill DDR5, supoorting XMP)
Does it work so efficient also for Scar 18 4090 ?
How to force this Laptop to use iGPU for an external monitor? There is two Type-C ports, but both are running my external monitor on RTX GPU. Nvidia Control Panel is Optimus option.
Can we overclock the CPU with higher multiplier?
I have enabled BIOS undervolt to -0.80 and it works.
However when applying -0.120 in XTU, it appears like it is applied but in HW monitor it is still showing -0.80?
The fans sound a lot louder than the Blade. Is that accurate?
My understanding disabling virtualisation, it's a security risk.
Under which armoury crate mode are you doing this undervolt?
im really really torn. i love the form factors of both the blade 16 and the asus scar 16 with 4090s. Do I get the slightly less powerful but better build quality blade 16 with the 1440p non mini ed display (I dont think the 4k mini led option makes sense) or do i get the asus scar 16 with much worse build quality but better performance and a 1440p display that has mini led? I dont know
I've the scar 16... The miniled does not look very good for daily usage. There aren't many zones causing a ton of smearing/blooming.
@@HumzaMohammed don't Asus tho have an option to turn the backlight into a single zone in the armoury crate software, making it behave like a standard IPS display. That way you can navigate windows and use the laptop for day to day things without that botchy backlighting, and then when you want to play a HDR game or watch a HDR movie you can flick it back on and enjoy the mini led display
@@samhawkes6597 Yes 👍

ASUS Scar 16 (2023) I wonder xmp can be enabled on the bios? even if 4800mhz ? so i can use 4800mhz 34cl stiks?
Hi guys! I have an issue with my asus rog strix scar 16 :(
Without undervolt, i put the ultimate gpu mode on (the ultimate mode on armoury crate) and my games drop to 40 fps and no max voltage. Someone can explain why? :(
I've got the exact problem ? 150 fps on ryse son of Rome then boom 40 fps for a second then Back to normal
Scar 18 same cpu why my current/edp limit throttling red?
-0.100v Core voltage offset
-0.100V Cache
-0.50v E-Cache
-0.20v Graphics/Media/System Agent Offset
Hi. Would this work with my Asus Rog Zephyrus M16? it has a 12th Gen i9 Cpu. I'm new to PC gaming stuff like this and noticed that my CPU runs hot with RE4 Remake.
With an Asus Strix 16 2023 13890hx and 4090RTX, Windows 11, after following the guide and applying BIOs + XTU I only get 25793. I wonder what's going wrong :(
is -80mv save a asus strix g15 rtx 4060 i713650hx ?
I applied the same settings with the exact same machine but it crashed. I tried with lower numbers and kept crashing. I guess my chip lottery went out baddddd. Good explanation though on how to do it.
At 20:48 I have the same undervolts applied but my CPU package temps are showing a 76 avg while idle while yours are showing 56. My package power is about the same as yours, so nothing odd going on there. My fans are set to Turbo in Asus Armoury Crate, so I'm not sure why my temps are so high.
I did a -0.100 mV undervolt on the core, p-cache, e-cache…I’m getting power limit throttling and I’m still hitting like 95 degrees immediately and throttling.
Anyone know what’s going on here?
Same undervolt but mine throttling red Edp limit
So I have the scar 18 with 14th gen I9 and it gives me BSOD with those undervolt settings, anyone know why? With rrhular bios undervolting, it gives me around 31xxx on multi core cinebench.
How do i undervolt GPU, Thanks!
i averaged 96 in the same test with the same machine and the same undervolt and overclock, what am i doing wrong?
is it a same method for
strix non scar 13980hx with 4070 ?
TLDR Can the cpu of this laptop get up to 100 watt power draw using it without a stress on gpu ??
What is the ambient temp in tests?
Check the live benchmarks with the temperature read outs.
My ASUS Studiobook H7604JI has those sections greyed out. Is there another way I can enable undervolting?
There is new version of bios 308..can I do that undervolting or?
do you know if this can somehow cause long term instability? or is it set and forget
As long as it is set within your laptop hardware’s realistic limits, it should be a set and forget type of thingb
@@GizmoSlipTech ok nice, by the way I have a strix g16 with the 13980hx but I can't find a way to turn off vbs and other options in bios or anywhere, also do you know if it has an undervolt protection setting option? Is this even possible without the scar

Do i need to keep the intelxtu application open in the background if i want to keep the undervolt? (Scar 18 rtx4080)
Hi, how do you save these settings in Intel XTU. Everytime I reboot all changes revert to stock.
Why does the bar graph say scar 18 vs GT 77? What did I miss?
I see XTU still blows, cant get UV to stay after reboots.
Is there a wattage issue in 4070? Internet is flooded with various articles that it's maxes out at 105-110w instead full 140w.
I have not tested any 4070 140W gpus yet, so I don’t know
I am unable to reach the max voltage it does not go beyong 90W and getting a score of 28k
Does anybody have the time stamp for how to overclock your GPU?
Gizmo ? do you think i can undervolt a Ryzen 9 7945HX on my future Scar 17 ? i see on review test, the temp core is i little bit high ?
Thank's a lot for you answer !

RIP my Scar 16.. I can't get it out of the black screen after the 308 firmware update today.
Was this after undervolting?
@@tom123216 Nope.. Just a normal -80 undervolt.. I was running in Standard GPU, because of all the known issues with dGPU.. I ran the firmware update. It completed, and then rebooted. I never saw Windows again. I gave the laptop about 7 minute's before forcing a reboot. I finally gave up a few minutes ago after devoting more than three hours of my day trying to make this thing work. I formatted the drives, packed it up. I'm within my Amazon window, and will be scheduling a pickup. I'm officially back on the market. But where do I go from here? The Scar 16 is the best laptop currently available, even with the bugs.

this CPU is busted! look at the voltage of the cores, it peaks at 1.53 which is a sign of intel 13th and 14th Gen failures.
Fk me my new laptop which costed me 3000 usd peak those voltages did my cpu degraded already and am i cooked ?
Never undervolted is it too late now.
I thought intel and asus 200000 engineers would figure out stable default settings. But no they are greedy clowns, who intentionally made them degrade over warranty
@grizius4123 Those voltage peaks are the signs of going toward degradation!
@@j_si97 would just undervolting prevent degradation ? or shall I do more than that. if I just make -80mv offset in bios would be enough please ? thank you :(
@grizius4123 I don't really know! I think the best way is to wait for intel to officially release a statement about mobile chipsets or, similar to the desktop ones, release a bios update to install the new microscope.
If your chip has already been undervolted, check the voltage during the day (with daily usage load) and see if the max value exceeds 1.5 or not. If not, enjoy your hardware!
@@j_si97 it already exceed it by a huge margin just now it actually reached 1.608v no joke. and I did get the 0x0005c error exception very often.
I no more trust intel anymore, cuz previously they stated that the mobile versions were not really affected, but here I am I get the same symptoms as their deskptop counterparts, I believe they just don't want to admit it, cuz laptop OEM brands and many pro consumer orgs would sue them to oblivion.
I didn't undervolt it yet, and I had only bought this laptop since 4 july of this year, it is only about 1 months using default settings and it is already degrading af. GG
i brought this laptop yesterday, best im getting is 33500 with this undervolt
