What is Zinc Supplements?
Zinc is a naturally occurring mineral. It is called an "essential trace element" because very small amounts of zinc are necessary for human health.
Zinc helps the immune system fight off bacteria and viruses, is important for wound healing, blood clotting, thyroid function, and is important for proper senses of taste and smell. The body also needs zinc to make proteins and DNA, the genetic materials in cells.
Since the human body does not store excess zinc, it must be consumed regularly as part of the diet. Common dietary sources of zinc include red meat, poultry, and fish.
Zinc deficiency is characterized by growth retardation, loss of appetite, and impaired immune function. In more severe cases, zinc deficiency causes hair loss, diarrhea, delayed sexual maturation, impotence, hypogonadism in males, and eye and skin lesions. Weight loss, delayed healing of wounds, taste abnormalities, and mental lethargy can also occur

Make sure u don't take it on an empty stomach, it will make u nauseous and u'll throw up ,take it with food , or take it some time later in the day after u have eaten a meal.

Zinc is so amazing,it's a miracle...I bought them a week ago and my energy levels are so high,no more cramps,and itchy body ..my memory is better now and I'm even more friendly and conscious,I'm taking them with Omega 3-6-9 ,my skin is glowing and soft,I look younger but their are very huge....make sure you drink more water after taking them..and my hair is beautiful,I feel so good and confident

@@mueidlone536i can honestly say taking too much zinc will affect your breathing. I had serious breathing issues until i quit taking zinc and the breathing issues got better almost immediately. Of course i was taking alot of zinc but people need to keep that in mind taking a large quantity like 150mcgs a day will cuz problems
I had a lot of these conditions, (height reduction, hair loss at 15, diarrhea and poor indegedtion at a young age often, and some more). I'll see if the pills work for me. Currently 17, I'll update here in 3 months to see if anything changes.
I started this Monday I'll come back and tell if changes too, btw I'm 5foot right now but hope I reach at least 5'3 - 5'7 with drinking Zinc

@@sara_36511 well my hair is fluffier (somewhat thicker) with the added zinc and biotin pills and magnesium gummies, but my hairline itself is still abysmal. don't think I'll get any taller, and my diarrhea fluctuates depending on my eating now and not just regularly. I dont know yet the full effects u there are any left to get.

As zinc is related to blood clotting, would someone taking blood thinner avoid zinc?
So basically, zinc is a mineral that's important for lots of things in your body, including blood clotting. But taking zinc doesn't actually make your blood clot - it just helps your body make some of the things that are involved in clotting.
If you're taking blood thinners like warfarin, heparin, or aspirin, you might have to be careful about taking certain supplements or eating certain foods because they can interfere with the medication or make you bleed more.
But as far as I know, there's no clear evidence that taking zinc supplements is bad if you're taking blood thinners
