Exploring Boulder, Colorado & Surrounding Areas [Free Camping]

- Follow us along on our nomad life journey around the U.S. We explored the city of Boulder, Colorado, the beautiful Flat Irons in Boulder and camped for free in the surrounding towns of Longmont, Colorado and near Nederland. The places we camped at were Beaver Creek Reservoir near Ward, Wild Cider Harvest Host and a Horse Training Harvest Host.
During our stay we had some beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains, had some amazing Cider at Wild Cider (Harvest Host Stay) and enjoyed some neat coffee shops, colorful stores and plenty of site seeing.
Colorado and the rocky mountains are so spectacular and provide so much to explore and discover.

Colorado is absolutely beautiful beautiful state, it's on my bucket list to visit.
We love how diverse the terrain and scenery, it’s a must visit! You’ll be pleased with anywhere you go in CO

This indeed looks like a wonderful calm and peaceful area and the cider looks very promising, too. As an old whiskey fan I would be very interested in how it tastes, when matured in old whiskey barrels. The views of the snow covered Rocky Mountains in the background is amazing. Boulder Moore looked pretty nice, too. And I loved the Coffee and Yogurt shop inside these historic train box cars in Nederland. Great presentation again, Tawnie & Wayne. Gosh Colorado is SO beautiful. That sunset was AMAZING! We stayed at a Harvest Host in Nebraska that had a lot of ciders... I also don't like ciders, but these were more wine-y and less cider-y. Tasty tasty!

Wow very nice the locations you camped at. Was spectacular, was happy to see you did go on hike despite the injury on you ankle. The snow capped mountain's are amazing. Here in California it should be June gloom, (foggy and highs at 72 F ), and it's 95 F. So would be nicer to be there, i like to do that climb. 👦🏻👍🏻🏞⛰🧗🏻♂️

Boulder looks like such a charming city. We're spending the summer in Colorado Springs, so we'll definitely have to check out that area. With all the snow on the ground, did you have any trouble getting out of those boondocking spots? I love that downtown & little coffee shop. Super cute.
