Disney Programs Learning | Sign Language Basics

In celebration of Deaf History Month, we caught up with Mark, Manager of
Accessibility & Services for Guests with Disabilities at Walt Disney World
Resort. Mark has been teaching an American Sign Language (ASL) Basics
class for our participants for the last few months. In addition to learning
over 50 signs, participants also discover more about the history of ASL and
the Deaf community in a fun, interactive session.

Great video, Mark! I took ASL for three years in college and I had an amazing instructor who really broadened my horizons about deaf culture. I hope your course is still available during my DCP, because I would definitely appreciate the refresher!
