I wish I could tell you how hugely important this song has been to me. Both my parents died and my husband left me all in a time period of 6 months. I was battling crippling anxiety and fighting it and fighting God. Finally, I just told him, Lord if you want me to have anxiety, I'll have it. Just don't leave me. I felt his peace, and my life began to turn around.

As a home health nurse, I would go into homes 15 or so years ago and see my patients watching The Homecoming videos. It was only background noise while I made my visit. One month ago, I heard that Mark Lowry would be in my area, and I went to TH-cam to research. How have I missed this amazing music all of my life? I am overwhelmed by the harmonies and the messages of Christ's love. Thank you so much Bill Gaither and your musical family for such an amazing gift.

Years ago, I backslid from my faith. It was many years before I left behind all my addictions and torment for a crown of Victory through Christ. What a blessing to still see many of the singers and musicians I listened to in the 70's still going. Many have crossed over into His Kingdom. Can't wait to be reunited. I fell into these singing videos after following a Christian comedian, Tim Hawkins (I think that's his name) and I saw Mark Lowry's videos so started watching his comedy. One thing led to another....now I have researched most of the groups singers and gotten educated as to whose who. It helped me catch up to now. Bill Gaither is such an amazing man. I love watching him interact with his boys....you can see how he loves Mark, Mike English, David Phelps, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, and so on. He adores Mark. How beautiful that Mark was blessed by God to be comfortable with his ADD as a blessing and not a curse. Can you believe he is not married ? What a brilliant man of God !!! As a home care Physical Therapist I also first heard this marvelous , anointed group of voices along with a multitude of other " Homecoming Friends " . I,would often bring my IPad into homes to make,exercises less arduous for the disinclined , while opening up a window of discipleship witnessing to those of various persuasions and religions . This worship and praise music carries me from day to day .

I adore every watching Mark’s reaction to his fellow singers in each Gaither video. He truly loves his brothers in Christ and watching them worship the Lord along side him. He is more talented than many people give him credit before, but he lets the others take the spotlight.

I grew up listening to (dare I say over 50 years ago) the Gaither Trio and the Vocal Band and I have to say that Mark, Guy and David make up the best Vocal Band. There is such a witness of the Spirit when they sing and their harmonies are unmatchable. I have been going through a wilderness time and I started listening to these "old songs" again and they have been a refreshment to my soul. May God continue to bless them and their families. As they each have gone out on their own, may God continue to use each of them to impact lives and share the Gospel through music.
While I'm listening to the song, I'm thinking about all other religions that cannot even touch this kind of anointing and blessing. We, Christians, are so blessed to be saved by grace and have God on our side, or better, we are on His side now. Hallelujah! These singers are a mighty tool in the hand of God to lift up millions of people and help them experience what they cannot in any other way, by any other means! The Gaither Vocal Band truly ministers to me. I thank God for my Mom introducing me to the Gaither Vocal Band almost 15 years ago when I was pregnant with my almost 14 year old son. They have gotten me through a lot (sickness, the death of my youngest daughter, depression, feeling unworthy, etc.)... My supervisor who is a wonderful lady wonders why a young lady listens to Gaither Music. I told her that it truly ministers to me and I need that to keep me going.

The band at my church played this yesterday. This song gives me goosebumps. It touches me a lot and brings me to my knees. Oh Lord help us to remember that we are not better than others, but just sinner saved by grace. Jesus this song is a blessing and a reminder.
I've listened to this song dozens of times, but not until lately I realize this is my testimony. Almost born in a church, attended most of my life, but not until I was 50 years old, did I surrender to Jesus, and have never looked back. God brought me gently to this place of surrender and I praise him. He worked on me, allowing me to go to the hospital 3 times, I caused a car wreck that put both of us in the hospital, then I started having nightmares of my son being killed, and one Sunday I was ready to give my life to Jesus. But no, too much pride, couldn't walk to the alter, I had to meet one on one with a pastor that week, THEN, I was ready. That's gentle! Thank you Gaither's for this song, it is so beautiful and my testimony. Bill

I now am living in South Florida,... away from the Gaithers hearing them, and going to their wonderful restaurant and store. WOW! So powerful. So anointed. The grace of God was and is the only thing that saved me from what I surly deserve. I know in my heart that without Him I am less than nothing, of no value. But He gave me value! He gave me the promise of an eternity that I don't deserve. He saw in me something that I had lost sight of.... something that no one else even looked for. There is a Hinson song that says " unworthy to live and not fit to kill". That's me. That's my life. What I deserve surly is not Heaven, but through His blood and His mercy I have the assurance of eternity with my Lord. Praise God. Thank you Jesus!

They have gotten me through a lot (sickness, the death of my youngest daughter, depression, feeling unworthy, etc.)... My supervisor who is a wonderful lady wonders why a young lady listens to Gaither Music. I told her that it truly ministers to me and I need that to keep me going.

The band at my church played this yesterday. This song gives me goosebumps. It touches me a lot and brings me to my knees. Oh Lord help us to remember that we are not better than others, but just sinner saved by grace. Jesus this song is a blessing and a reminder.

I've listened to this song dozens of times, but not until lately I realize this is my testimony. Almost born in a church, attended most of my life, but not until I was 50 years old, did I surrender to Jesus, and have never looked back. God brought me gently to this place of surrender and I praise him. He worked on me, allowing me to go to the hospital 3 times, I caused a car wreck that put both of us in the hospital, then I started having nightmares of my son being killed, and one Sunday I was ready to give my life to Jesus. But no, too much pride, couldn't walk to the alter, I had to meet one on one with a pastor that week, THEN, I was ready. That's gentle! Thank you Gaither's for this song, it is so beautiful and my testimony. Bill
The Gaither Vocal Band is always incredible, but there is something about the chemistry these four radiate together (Bill Gaither, Guy Penrod, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps) that is just so AMAZING!!!

I have been listening to Guy sing ever since he joined the Gaither Vocal Band as their Lead Singer and say he is truly a Man of God. I am sure many lives have been and will be changed for the better by just listening to the words of all these wonderful hymns/songs. He really means what he is singing. A joy to listen to. Cannot tell you how many times I play and replay this, and so many others...plus, the CD's and videos I own of yours! I now am living in South Florida,... away from the Gaithers hearing them, and going to their wonderful restaurant and store. I am not only blessed by the message in the song and their beautiful vocals but, it gives me such peace in my soul, as their anointing truly comes through in their vocals! WOW! So powerful. So anointed. The grace of God was and is the only thing that saved me from what I surly deserve. I know in my heart that without Him I am less than nothing, of no value. But He gave me value! He gave me the promise of an eternity that I don't deserve. He saw in me something that I had lost sight of.... something that no one else even looked for. There is a Hinson song that says " unworthy to live and not fit to kill". That's me. That's my life. What I deserve surly is not Heaven, but through His blood and His mercy I have the assurance of eternity with my Lord. Praise God. Thank you Jesus!

The very best GVB ever!!!! I love to watch all the GVB groups of all time but there is something so very special about this team of 4. Seems like you each connect to each other better musically and as friends than any other group I have watched.
The Gaither's have recorded the sweetest and choicest moments in all of the gospel music venues. .. and thank God we get to hear it whenever we want. We serve a Wonderful and Good Master and Savior. Amen

I absolutely love David Phelps, i first heard him sing when i was 11yrs old...and that voice is heavenly!!! He just get better with age... l Love, love, love this band. When life knocks me down, i put on one their songs and im ready to fight another day, for God and myself

Music that is a pure joy to listen to, and if you listen carefully to the words, can save your soul, too. David Phelps is the best tenor on the face of the planet and has been for a number of years.
