@@ryanburbridge yep! I started last November so almost been in business a year. I picked up a 2010 Manitex 124 25 ton boom truck. Perfect for what I do now...tree work...trusses...ac units etc. But within this next year I hope to also pick up a used gmk 4090. Definitely need bigger haha but will always keep this manitex. Il send ya a video of my setup in a bit 💪

Nice work! Two lining tanks is always fun (not really). Had one that the tailing lug ripped out of once. You may have seen the video of that on my channel. That'll get your attention in a hurry. Stay safe out there! 🙂🏗
To The Top Crane i actually looked for that video before this job and couldn’t find it. I did find the green tank looking thing that you tripped. Showed my wife your video the night before to explain what they wanted me to do. You’ll notice there was a bit cut out. When i lifted the tank off the trailer it slid away from me and hit the step deck. No damage but figured I’d cut that part out. That was a hard one to spot. Neither hook is plumb lol. I kept it low remembering that tank that broke on you.
@@ryanburbridge the way I center up on them......I'll spot my hook over the center of the tank before I am rigged to it. I remember that radius, then when I pick, I hold that radius. It will typically come straight up. It's really hard for a rigger to center you up with your main and whip spread out by a tank. But, it's easy for them to center you up if you plumb bob over center beforehand. That's just something that works for me. 🙂
Yeah that was a fun one. This was a “sub” job. Meaning maxim crane was supposed to show up but they didn’t have a crane available. The “subbed” the job to BHC crane and we showed up and the engineers threw a fit lol. They were asking my oiler constantly “WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?!” Lol i told him to tell them maxim and they couldn’t figure it out. Then they were asking “WHO SIGNS YOUR PAYCHECK?!” Lol told them non of your business lol
I forget where this was. I septic farm? If i remember correctly this was a “sub” job from Maxim. First and last time there. Who did you work for? Local 12?
