    Well done guys.
    We have a TMS 9000E and when we hire somebody new I tell them to watch this video I feel it it's very helpful to them even if they know how to run a Grove but haven't in a while. Thank you

    These guys really helped us out with tech problems and parts...Harrisburg mechanics best and very helpful advising us when we fixed our gmk5120b ...Owner,Operator and mechanic friendly...unlike other places.

      Thanks!, Gabe Lash our sales guy from Northwestern, PA and a few of the techs from our McDonald branch were key in making this video work so well!

    It is a shame, that there is not one American crane made here in u.s. Grove was sold to Finland, and they did what we could not do. The high end tech that they developed. Retired owner of General Cranehoist inspections since 1975.

    I hope I don’t offend you it’s a nice crane if you grow up in the video/ electronic era! I have a 1975 TMS180 and I am the computer and I prefer it that way!😀😀And one thing I would comment on my outriggers are all controlled from the upper so if you swing around and on outrigger sinks you don’t have to climb out and relevel ,which is way easier on the operator and nobody can come along and start playing with your outriggers!!! Kinda went a little backwards there with the technology I think! But I am a old schooler so that’s just my opinion! But a very nice crane though!

      I know this is old but you can do the O/R's from the operator cab as well and no once you switch to the upper cab the lower functions turn off.

    Do you have a jib swing video?

    • @StephensonEquipment

      We do not, I will ask Grove/Manitowoc if they do, but I am unaware of any at this time.

    What would be the up side of running with less than max counterweight? Does the computer govern the speed of your movements (swing, boom, hoist?)

    • @SCOTT_1911
      @SCOTT_1911 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Less cost to transport. Some places don't let you run over 80,000lbs without a permit. Crane + weights = >80,000lbs so you pay for truck to bring weights to/from

      Job site conditions have to be considered to ensure safe set up as it says in the beginning of the video. We mainly made this video to point out the ease of set-up and features offered by the TMS9000E.

    Pump engage with engine on or off?

    • @StephensonEquipment
      @StephensonEquipment  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Turn off truck then engage the pump and restart unit.
      This would allow to setup your outriggers.
