That guitar work really good for him. The low ends are really booming and the highs chime really good, and his voice fills out the middle perfectly.

He had a decent amount of popular songs in 2010. Just Ibiza and Cooler Than Me gained more popularity. I agree though, can't wait for his new stuff.
Singer songwriter and producer I'm pretty sure he wrote that "if I was boyfriend" song for bieber, that alone will get you paid for a lifetime. Kinda like how the guy from onerebublic is getting money for "apologize" and writing halo for beyonce. Folks might only be popular for singing one song but good musicians are always behind the voices, ask berry gordy
Exactly. He's definitely done a lot of behind the scenes work and its too bad song writers don't get more credit for that really. Posner wrote Sugar by Maroon 5 and Boyfriend which no one would know about unless you actually look into it.

I love these versions of Poser songs. His acoustic of "Pill in Ibiza" and "Buried in Detroit" are a couple of my favorite tunes. Talented guy.

Methinks that very few artists will try to cover this, as Mike Posner really 'owns' the song. Another point of praise: even without expensive production values, it sounds amazing.

I love when guys like him and Post Malone come in and are just genuinely good musicians and good dudes. So many "ands" no commas.
When people say there's no good music these days you can show them stuff like this. The fact it's a pop song which usually is so overproduced and polished this just proves modern music can still sound natural and real.
That beard totally makes it look like if he wasn't playing the guitar, he might know how to make one from scratch.

This song really hits me.. I don’t think too many people can understand what the feeling of fame is. I use to be famous in LA and knew a lot of celebrities but it’s not as fun as it looks on tv.. don’t know whose being real with you or who to trust.. it’s all an illusion... have the nicest house but all alone, have the nicest car but can’t really go anywhere... and eventually it fucks with ur head. I had everything but it feels plastic, I got really depressed and moved back to my hometown.. never went back and always trying to warn people that you don’t want to live that way.. be a simple person and learn to appreciate the little things in your life. 👍🤙

The lyrics of this song resonate with me and my life. To the outside I seem outgoing, like to party, take drugs and have a laugh, however on the inside I’m lonely and know people who have a more quaint, quite existence are most likely happier than I am
definitely. people who party non stop and need constant stimulation are usually doing so because they cant stand the stillness and boredom of regular day to day life. they cant stand living with themselves.
