Hello Coach For several years we have used a conditioning game I call “Air Raid “ that we play with our entire team as a conditioning game. We also have other super challenging and competitive conditioning games called Splickerball, Lionball and Spartanball, all help us get our team in great shape but more importantly make football fun. Maybe an idea coaches would be interested in to improve conditioning, teamwork, enthusiasm and we also demand perfect sportsmanship during our “game period “ Thanks for the great content- love the air raid course!
just had practice for the first time with a group of 7th graders. NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY QB -_- So we will be looking to put an athlete back there and run more urban meyer spread vs mike leach spread. Thanks for the vid
Coach, We ran the fly offense for years here in California. On your jet sweep (blocking outside zone), are you hell bent on getting the edge OR do you allow the sweeper to cut it up if he sees daylight?
@@matthewromary536 I agree, however, I don’t consider fly sweep blocking to be outside zone blocking. I consider it track blocking. Fly = capture the edge Wide zone = widen the edge and look to cut up (bounce is a bonus) Inside zone/duo = never bounce, look to cut back Just how we do things…

Can you elaborate on these conditioning games?
Where’s the sound?
Works fine?

Jefe I never tell a back how to run just where it should be. If he can put his foot in the ground and get yards I’m good :)
Zone blocking should be used for the cutbacks not just to allow cutbacks. Cutbacks against the flow are the whole point .
