    Good stuff Coach. I am an OC at a Texas HS and we do many of the same things you do. It is always nice to get another perspective on what you are doing and to be able to pick up an idea or coaching point Keep up the great work

    Thanks Coach Coleman, if I can provide one thing that helps then I'm happy. There is not one way to skin a cat in football and it's the sharing of ideas that keeps the profession growing.

    Great video coach! I have a question, how does the 4-2-5 defense defend the jet sweep and all it's complimentary plays in both 2x2 and 3x1 formations? I've fell in love with with the 4-2-5 defense, and your videos have been extremely helpful. The level of football I coach (pop warner in upland CA.) we see a lot of jet sweep/fly sweep stuff and just wanted some tips! thanks coach

    Great input coach. I am coaching at Manatee High in Bradenton Florida. I have a question on play book software. What is a good software to make my own play books?

    Sorry this is late Jason, I get caught up during the season but there is a book called The Essential Smart Football that may help.

    How many route concepts do you run there is always the cross, snag/scat, mesh, curl flat, some type of smash but how many others do you incorporate in your no huddle

    I know this is a old vid coach but I have a quick question: iso you always align you H in sniffer position and wouldn’t that tip off the defense to what you’re doing?

    • @CoachMac
      @CoachMac  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We can line him up playside or away, we definitely have some sniffer tendencies.

    Do you know of a book that explains all of that jargon you are using? "Run fits" "Sniffer" "Tough Call" "Snag" I can figure most of it out within the context of what you're saying, but I'd like to see a lot of these concepts laid out in a book. I didn't play enough football to become fluent in football jargon.

    What are QB's steps? Ride for 2 and drop 3?

    • @CoachMac
      @CoachMac  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We don't ride, its a token fake with a low pad level to hide the ball and then 3 step.

  • @CoachMac

      And also if you have 2 receivers back side on a curl/slide so they run the same thing and if it is one do they run just the curl. Or a post or what
