Great repair ANTHONY! Nice job!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really like that you’re humble enough to show us the mistakes that all of us make. You correct them and carry on. WELL DONE, BROTHER👍😇👍.
*You have some A-level Oxy scarfing skills. I'm always surprised when you scoop someone's weld bead out half inch plates and just knock them apart with one hand.*
Anthony, man I’m proud of you. Great work ethic, and honest about the good, the bad ,and the ugly situations you encounter. I am a former journeyman welder/ fabricator and it is a pleasure watching you. Keep at it my friend!
Dude, I've been following your shit for a while now. Got my structural contractors license here in California, on your advice. But I still watch your videos with a beer in hand. Its like we been working together fir years. Keep it up!
It's cool to see the mistake and then the correction. I easily get things inverted or mirrored the wrong way when I'm in the thick of things. The wisdom you shared was testing things first with tacks then changing course once you saw the mistake. I always find my mistake after I've fully welded everything. It sux, too, because I usually get burned and break a few other things in the process of "fixing" another thing. You make it look easy getting things done, but going backwards on a project like this is a trap I fall into all too often. Thanks for dropping scholarship on us on how to keep moving forward.

I’m repairing a trailer suspension with welds like that. I hate it when stuff like that happens but it’s nothing but a step for a stepper. 👍🏽 good work.
Respect to you man, I’ve recently started my mobile welding business in California and watching your videos really motivates and inspires. Keep burning rods and content coming
Nice welds. Those old welds look like a complete newb or a drunk worked on it before. Good craftsmanship. I’m glad you accidentally inverted that bracket - just to show that it really is The Real World sometimes when crap like that happens. You just groan and move on. Maybe 45 years ago??? me and my brother in law and his buddy welded same basic problem on buddy’s dump truck. The fuel tank was Danger Close at one point and everyone was like “nah no problem just keep burning rod”. I shut that shit down and went and got an old wool army blanket and soaked it in water and draped it over the fuel tank. All is well that ends well. I was seeing visions of fuel explosions in my head. Truck was a 1 ton landscape dump with a gas motor! Once again. Thanks for a good video. I like watching your work. You make good clear videos. You must spend a lot of time thinking before you film cuz you seem to always get efficient angles and views that don’t require a ton of talking. You are a good kid!

Not that I have anything against the torch/electrode/chalk line method but I feel like a spring punch and compass would be easier.. and they're like $5?
great work man, you took care of those bad welds like nothing. not many people do the job right in any type of dump truck. one question of you see this, how do you land jobs like those and how often do you say no to them?
Fun tip if you have a long enough combination square and you're transferring from the old plate to the new played the hole you can lay across lined up with the top diameter of the hole the top of the hole just run A-line across to the new plate from the old plate same with the bottom this also makes it easier to put the center you can also do it with a small square 8 by 12 square I suppose you could do it with a bigger speed square also if the straightedge is long enough to reach across to the old plate
I love your videos and am impressed with your ability to cut with a torch. I’m sure oxyacetylene is easier in the field rather than adding a big compressor to your truck. Do you ever use a plasma cutter?
I know it's not your responsibility to make sure that rod rotates freely or has no slop, but that is the prefect time to check it out. Like you were hitting that bracket to turn it. It should move freely, have the customer grease the hell out of it while it's down and you can turn the rod to get the grease all of the way around it.
0:05 didn’t blur the logo and 12:41 kinda missed the mark on that one. I heard that you can add some blur in TH-cam after videos are posted but I’ve never tired so idk how true that is.
Another great upload MMA!! How comes the company name on the side of the truck is blurred out? Is that your choice or was that customer request? 👨🏾🏭💰💯🤙🏿

Triple barrel torch is the way to go

I save random washers and used up cutoff wheels as stencils when I need to cut out a circle
Great suggestion
making the bracket shorter increases the stress on a smaller portion of the bed frame.....might lead to bending or crush failure.
I love your videos and am impressed with your ability to cut with a torch. I’m sure oxyacetylene is easier in the field rather than adding a big compressor to your truck. Do you ever use a plasma cutter?
Now it just needs a new subfloor.
How much do you charge for that ?
Some good cuts

Dam it. I think it moved when I cut a few bad shots. It’s hard to get right. Thanks for the heads up I’ll try to fix it
Also if you’re going to blur the name/logo gotta blur the dot number. USA Tree Svc.
