    Using this to change the color of my motorcycle. I have some powder coat and Cerakote colors I want to try out. Appreciate it! Much better than a flat paint bucket on my mockups.

    Thanks bud this video was what I needed. I just downloaded Adobe Photoshop last night and no Absolutely, nothing about using it lol. I got it so I can change the colors of my Cars so I get a better look at what I want to do to them.
    I have a 86 TTOP Foxbody mustang that's primer black right now. I'm going to paint it this summer but not sure which color I want yet. I have a few different colors but would like to see what they look like on the car before I paint it.
    I also would like to change the Wheels of my Mustang and lower it. I haven't checked to see if you have a video on how to do this yet but I'm sure you do. I've watched a couple different videos and likes yours the most. Thanks for the help bud I appreciate it.

    If you have black in foreground and white on background, Alt + Backspace to fill the selection of white, cmd+Backspace to fill the selection with black. I'm sorry my English ;)

    Hi Moe! Love your tutorials, really, you help me a lot in my work!
    Moe, where do you get the backgrounds? Or are just photos from places that you take?
    Thanks a lot!

    If you're searching the shortcut for make selection, then it's ctrl+enter on windows. To add some more area into that selection, just use ctrl+shift+enter. Let me know, if that's what you were searching for, and whether you wanna know some other shortcuts.

    What if I want to use just my mobile phone for car photography, I know it's not ideal but... Any tips for that?

    • @MoeZainal
      @MoeZainal  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can still squeeze a good image from a mobile phone, most smartphones now has a pro mode option to manually control the camera settings + RAW capability.

    Do you have a technique for changing colour and value? At my work I'm tasked with changing the value of the car in unrealistic scenarios where cars can't be reshot. I've even had to go from white to black and vice versa while hitting every colour of the rainbow. It takes a very long time to get it to work, due to highlights and shadows not cooperating. I'm hoping you can respond to this comment for some clarity.

    • @MoeZainal
      @MoeZainal  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jordan, what do you mean by value? Can you please clarify?

    • @PersonPlaceThing1
      @PersonPlaceThing1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Light value. The range from light to dark. This tutorial covers the colour spectrum very nicely, but in my work sometimes I'm forced to make a car go from bright yellow to a dark maroon colour for example (even white to black at times) . In doing this I need to create selections from highlights and shadows separately so I can fake dynamic range that didn't exist in the original photo. It's super tedious and not very time efficient. That and getting the correct amount of saturation can be finicky too.
      The reason I need to do this some times is because a one of a kind car may be in restoration and they want new paint schemes from older existing images of the car.
      I really enjoy your videos, and I was curious if you've ever encountered anything like this before

    • @MoeZainal
      @MoeZainal  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Jordan, I can only think of the following, select the color using the hue & saturation adjustment layer then use lightness to control the light value, then add a selective color adjustment layer and adjust it further from there using the black level. hope this helps.

    • @PersonPlaceThing1
      @PersonPlaceThing1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Moe! I'll give it a shot when I have some time to do that. Hopefully this technique can simplify my work. Fingers crossed

      @@MoeZainal best thing to do is JUMP RIGHT INTO THE TOPIC for a few seconds, and then do a QUICK intro after. Not an expert, but its really annoying waiting when you're sitting in the viewers seat.
      Lot of the big channels even give a preview right at the beginning of whats to come later in the episode and always flash a glimpse of other previous videos (so they know what your channel is all about).
      All these little things make a big difference, especially for CTR's
