Hello chap, Thanks for watching and commenting on my Para Smock. It’s really that old , and yes I do wear it through the summer months shooting, only because it’s no fancy thermal liner. It’s different to the general issue camo jacket of that era, as it’s got bigger pockets and press studs instead of buttons. Reason for those ? Buttons could snag parachute rigging lines. Cheers, Des
Never had an issue with benelli stocks in terms of sight picture i have the largest pad on my M2 and I hardly miss with it the dedicated clay gun i have is a benelli raffeallo supper sport and i’ve added a monte carlo comfortec insert for more height and reduced the drop to 50mm at the heal all comfortec combs have inserts available to add height and can easily have the drop shim changed. I’m a full time semi auto shooter and it would take a good gun to get me to go back to a O/U i’ll pop up to oxford one day and say hello !

Nothing that a slip-om comb raiser wouldn't cure. I got one of those Neoprene sleeves with 3 raiser inserts that come as a kit for my SX3 and does the job nicely. Doesn't look out of place on a synthetic stock.
Hello David From South Carolina. I really enjoy watching your channel! I too am a rough shooter. And have a quick question. I am a left handed shooter and can hit targets coming from my right to my left fairly consistently but can rarely hit a target coming from my right to my left. Any advice you would have on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your great videos!!
Hello Mark, I'll stick in an answer as a fellow left hander, and then let David give you his expert advice. I have the opposite problem to you, I prefer stuff coming from my left, but I find it'd probably down to body position. If you know where the target is coming from, ie: a clay, position yourself specifically for that left hander, and turn from your hips, not your shoulders. Now, remember, I'm a rifle shooter, and certainly no expert, but give that a go, and if all else fails, buy a rifle, and hit stuff with just one bit of lead, it works for me. Cheers, Des.
My friends came over brought there high levell over and unders completely destroyed them with my Charles daily 20 and they were using 12 I beet them all Turkish great handling and no kick

Do you shoot with both eyes open? If you dont this may be why, as you wont see the target until later.

The Benelli M2 has a shim system to alter drop and cast. Why not set the stock up to suit you ?
