WorldofTech it doesnt work my phone just turns on the battery chraging and repeats it several times and i boot it on doesent work and i tried other steps and still dont work what fo you reccomend or new battery

Thank you! This saved me too. Incredible that Samsung has not fixed this yet. I was trying to update my Samsung Galaxy S7 via Samsung Switch from my PC, and followed the instructions when the phone got stuck with the downloading message with the turquoise color. I started with doing the backup, but what good was that when Samsung Switch didn´t even recognise the phone any more and didnt find the phone when I tried the emergency option in Samsung Switch.
It´s been a while since I updated the phone so I had forgotten my own rule based on past experiences: Do the backup with Samsung Switch, then disconnect and do the update directly on the phone.
PHEW. I was trying to root my phone and install TWRP recovery mode but I forgot to turn on USB debbuging so I was stuck. You're a real lifesaver dude. Tysm

if this screen still comes up when you do this hold it in and dont let go when the screen turns black. After this a different blue screen comes up saying either download or cancel press down volume button to cancel and should work fine

This has happened to me twice when I attempted to initiate a factory reset. I pressed the same three buttons instead of the ones for the reset.

My question is, why does it keep going to that screen? This happens to me about 6 times a day. Usually when I place it into it's belt carrier but sometimes randomly. Do you think a button is being pressed while I am putting it into its' cradle or is the phone simply fubar? I just upgraded from a gal 7 to this 20 something and it's driving me insane. I almost threw it in the bay when that talk-back feature randomly came on. Took me about an hour of listening to the early Star Trek computer voice before I found the button combo to turn it off. I also get a bunch of bar codes on the screen from time to time and the phone just freezes up. Any ideas?

Monster help ! Thanks. I had my wi-fi off so I wondered how a download would start with no connection or permission request. I thought I had a virus. In the 45 minutes that screen was up I lost 60% of my battery charge.
P.s it means downloading file from P.C if you know how to root it
For me when I held down the three buttons it kept saying "reconnecting" up in the corner along with code all underneath it. My phone got a bit wet and now it's doing this. Also I did the three buttons and the screen just went black as soon as I let go of them. Any advice?
