It keeps showing the blue screen!!! Pressing volume down and power button together makes it turn off for a mere second just like in the video, but instead of the samsung logo …the blue screen reappears… its like stuck in a loop.. idk how to get out of it… please !! Anything would help at this point!!! ❤

I know this is an older post, but my J7 just recently started going into "Downloading Do Not Turn Off Target" mode anytime I try to turn it off. Yes, the Power button + Volume Down button will force it to then restart correctly, but the only way to actually turn the dang thing off now is to physically pop out the battery. It's an old phone and I suppose I can live with that but it sure would be nice to know why the heck it started doing this in the first place and if anyone knows how to fix this. I've not tried factory reset yet because its just more of an annoyance than anything else...

Actually im out of it again, i tuned it off like on the video, holded volume down and turn on/off button and after you see samsung stop holding both. After that i holded the volume up button and im out, maybe it will work even with out the volume up but you can try both. First hold volume down and on/off button after samaung appears realese it as fast as you can. Second do the same but after you realese only hold volume up and wait till it turns on. If it works your welcome :D
