There's a fine line between genius and crazy and I'm not sure which side his Dad comes down on but bless him and his passion and let's be honest he picked the right car to OCD over.
MY GRANDFATHER LIVED IN SPRINGFIELD MASS BACK IN THE 60S AND 70S. HE REMEMBERS SEEING YOUR CAR. I SHOWED HIM YOUR VIDEO AND ONE HUGE SMILE.
these story deserve a proper hollywood movie... there's evrything in it, family, passion, devotion, courage, achievement... brilliant!
Cool follow up, can’t wait to see more. A thorough story about the 250 GTO would be great too if he can stomach it! That would be fantastic
The stories about your dad are some of my favorite !
this has to be the best car story on youtube! Thanks JT for sharing and thanks to your dad for sharing someday! We can’t wait!
What a great story! This channel has risen up my rankings to #1. Also helps that I work by Curated and get to see these cars regularly on my way to lunch. It makes my day!
Been waiting for this story for close to a year. Incredibly excited to see the final result, along with the man we've all heard so much about!
Great story. It makes it even better that I am born and raised in Springfield,Massachusetts👍
Fantastic story John! Cannot wait to see the finished Miura 🥳
What a beautiful story, beautifully told, I could listen to you talk for hours. I've worked out that you hold the same passion and OCD traits as both you father and grandfather, you're meticulous and passionate about what you do. Both of those men would be proud of what you've achieved today. I'm looking so forward to seeing the unveiling of your Dads Miura. In life people can do things and it gets done but those that do those same things with passion, their things stand out!! I salute you and your forefathers. Your channel is my guilty pleasure for the exact reasons mentioned above. Keep the love alive, much love brother!
Please ask your father to please share his passion with us. I know he built it for himself but if we could have a little peak that would be awesome.
I really like that story. It is the kind of thing dreams are made of.
I cant believe this car is going to finally see the light of day. So exited for whats to come!!
As always, a fabulous story! Can not wait to see your fathers Miura!
As a boy who's dad was also work obsessed. I get being proud of someone's work while still resenting the time it took. It's not something many people get to understand.
My favorite Lamborghini restoration center 😍
What an incredible story. Thanks for sharing it.
Wonderful story. I can't wait for more.
I can't wait. I love this story!
Its not bragging when you got a Muira SV..You are a forward thinker and a hard worker.Hope to hear his version but i remember u telling this great story..Im from Lowell Ma🤘🤘
Great story, be good to see your dad, seemed like a cool guy in the 1992 trip to the Lamborghini factory video.
His dad was a complete bad ass.
tank tops baseball caps and gold chains in the 90's.
Fantastic story and love this channel. The car is obviously priceless and cherished but can't help but notice the level of ocd and time this and other cars took away from the family. I could definanately see some resentment from his wife and family for how much time was spent on it. Getting older you notice this stuff more than when you were younger and took things and people more for granted. This is still a fantastic story and hope to hear more. Thank you!
These are such great stories; I would love to hear your father's voice.
Can't wait for the next video in that legendary Miura ❤️
Life of Palos sent me here. You got a new sub
Such a great story John thanks for your efforts to document it.
Love this story of your Dad and his Miura! Obviously he would never sell and would imagine you would never sell, but any idea what his car could possibly be worth? It has to be a one of one in the world at this point.
I'm sure he will sell it. Bet that's why he is finishing the project now and why his son is already promoting the car as the most perfect Miura so they can get the most amount of money
@@epicon6 I disagree. He’s had the car his whole life and is clearly very in love with it. It’s not about the money with this car, it’s pure passion. I bet he will never sell the car but instead pass it on it John, who will also never sell it.
@@Sikeslikescars Would you keep it yourself or cash it for $1 000 000 to $1 500 000?
Not many keep an old car worth that much unless they want even more for it in the future. Only people that already have have FU money would keep it.
They could sell it and buy two next gen V12 Lamborghinis and still have cash left over.
Back in the early 70's I had my eye on a Miura myself. I'm probably the same age as your Dad or very close. There was a TV commercial playing on TV for auto loans by a local bank, and they had me thinking about buying one. The commercial showed a Mediterranean looking portly middle-aged man, with a big mustache, graying hair, wearing a suit walking up to a teller at the bank. The teller, a good looking woman, would ask, "Welcome Mr. Yanopaparopulous, what can I help you with today?" The man would answer with a big smile and proper accent, "I vould like a loon for an autoo." To which the good looking woman would ask, "What kind of car do you want to buy Mr. Yanopaparopulous? And the man would answer, "I vould like to buy a Lamborghini Miura!" With a huge smile on his face. The closing line was something along, we can finance your car no matter what it is!
I ended up buying a Porsche instead. lol
John, great story, you definitely need to bring your dad to the channel to share this story
Always looking forward to your stories, John. But this by far is our most favorite. Beautiful!
I'm drooling!!! I want more... waiting
This is a beautiful story - thanks for the share
The interior colour looks really crazy
I been waiting for this story! I live in mass not far from your grandparents old area
Awesome story man, I can't wait to see it and hear his side of the story 👍
No Price can put on this Miura SV. Very excited for you guys to share and document everything.
Simply cannot wait!!! In fact if it ends up at your showroom I will place it in my top five on my bucket list of places to visit 🙏✅
Everyone’s dad is a hero, and your dad is a super hero!
This dude can tell a story. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
The cars are great but these stories are just awesome 👏👌
What about the Van Halen's wide body Miura? Any update about it ..? Just seen an old video you made about this Lambo. Great content anyway.. love your channel! Regards from Italy!

Awesome John! That COLOR-COMBO is the same I'm using for my e36 coupe. Great Man with Great Taste
great video
Very cool story! I saw a Lamborghini Pantera GR. I was just in awe of it , period! It was a silver colored car. I saw it in ftlauderdale,fl
Would it be safe to say Mr. Temerian's Miura is the best one in existence?
I predict this will sell at a record price.
Can't wait to see it
After he finished the "baby" I prefer you to take a photo of him and his baby, John Temerian and his SE30 Jota together
And look how things are going with your having Curated.
Actor Nicholas Cage had a Miura do you know if he sold or who has it now?
I live in Massachusetts I love this story because of this and Massachusetts is very nice. I wish You still lived here and does your dad have the car in ma? Or did he stay in Florida?
Jr tells all baked out in the sun.
Magic
Waiting for the magic! :)
Great story. Can't wait to see the car!!
A very great choice. My friends boss one lost one in a divorce, but I did get to sit in it. Value then was 120k.
My father is from Mass he had a fast gran sport he told me one night a young kid in a miura blew the doors off him I'm pretty sure it was your father
Great story! (Also, the red car in the picture is a 911, not a black Miura ;-))
It was at the back, the hood was popped open :)) @11:34
Where is the Diablo’s hot rod?
Nice pic of you , your family and the car, but wow, your parents are really short!!! 😁
What ever happened to the sister car to it that was at the Chicago auto show?
is there a follow up to this? really loving this channel but even years old content just cant ever find a follow up to vids like this
We'll be doing a follow up this year!
@@WeAreCurated cant wait to see it! also really curious what happened with that highlighter green diablo sv, was there ever a follow up to that one?
I'm going to try to buy a Falcon off a family member here soon, it was restored by her parents immediately before they died. I hate how long it has sat, but I want to drive it but don't want to put money where I don't get to have fun.
What kinda shoes are those ?
❤️❤️
The picture of you as a kid with the car looked suspiciously like a porsche
Cool story, but happens if your taking out for a drive and somebody t-bones you or slams into the back at a red light?
You’re the real life Cameron Frye....lol
Do we know what color the car is now. Anyone
Looking forward to meeting your father....
tooooooo looooong
That pics is a Porsche
Im here early :)
Love your vids and admire the way you present.
However, do you realise that you used the word ‘basically’ around thirty times ( I lost count).
You would have more credibility if you could string together a story without using it.
The word is meaningless and leaving it out makes no difference to the sentence.
Give it a try John, it’s quite painless.
All we see is you talking
So long-winded
I’ve been waiting to see this car since you first mentioned it some years ago.
Can’t wait to see it
