As a DJ back in the 90s, this song always blew the roof off of whatever gig I was playing. House of Pain never pushed out any other hits that I am aware of, but lead singer Everlast went solo and pushed out another absolute banger in What it's Like. Suggest giving that a review next. I can't describe to you the atmosphere this song created in a bar or dance club in the 90s. You just had to be there. All I will say is, have you ever seen hundreds of people become airborne at the same time? 😂
Oh man, I was in college when Jump Around came out and I can tell you the dance floor would be packed when they played this song. The house was jumpin`.
I'm a Michigan Man, but I gotta give props to the U. of Wisconsin as they play this song after the 3rd quarter at every home game and the entire crowd (including old folks) sings and jumps around! It's quite a scene!
