    Really good video again Oliver. It still amazes me that you get negative “thumbs down” feedback. Surely if you watch the video and it’s not for you, simply move on. Anyway, I know how hard you work and how much time and effort you put in. Looking forward to filling the new flights with you.

    I accidentally ended up with Grey Singing Finch and Timbrado Canary hybrids.

    Hey, Great videos love your channel! Have you ever paired a goldfinch with a lizard canary female? I am currently trying this pair and wondering how the mules would turn out with the yellow cap.

    The Norwich hen probably has an hormonal disorder (they have all stages of the breeding process except for the egg laying one). I've had this problem with some hens over the years, and normally they will never lay eggs. Let's see on your next videos what happens with this hen.

      Hi mate, if advise an egg food mix with peas, basic egg food and possibly some broccoli which hopefully the hen should take readily and feed the chicks.
      I hope they’re going well for you🤞

    Have you ever bred the Red Cardinal from the USA?

    • @OCAVIARY
      @OCAVIARY  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not yet, but it’s on the list!

    • @rickychilders2715

      We are starting to get some beautiful Orange and Black mutations of the red Cardinal. I wish it was possible to locate a legal pair of each mutation. The Cardinal makes beautiful noises when is chirps. There must be a way to bring this species in the Aviary and make it a part of the group of birds in a big natural Aviary.

    When replacing eggs, how long can you remove them before starting incubation?

    • @OCAVIARY
      @OCAVIARY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The longest I’ve kept is 8-10 days but I’ve heard 2 weeks has been fine and all have hatched

    Why did you put the greenfinch eggs under the canary?

    • @OCAVIARY
      @OCAVIARY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She abandoned the eggs so I fostered them out
