Shameless colleague promotion: Airworks should be doing a group order on it soon (if we recall correctly) and it's a perfect opportunity to jump on it!
I loved this coffee… opening the bag you could smell the blueberry… I don’t think I have ever had such a blueberry forward coffee… been a good run of coffees between the Wes ngopi and H&S coffees.
Glad to hear you also enjoyed it. Both roasters have done an amazing job setting the bar for what a top coffee is this year. Many more from both to come in the future, cheers ☕️
I had a very similar experience with this one. Absolute blueberry bomb but much, much cleaner than the majority of Nat Eth out there. I wound up with a very sweet tea note as well that was light enough to just add structure without becoming savory. Overall really great coffee.
Appreciate the feedback and glad to hear you had such great success with this coffee too. Seems like so many did, especially with those very clean 🫐 qualities. Cheers ☕️
The general consensus has been that they're having a very nice year and it'd be hard to disagree. Can't recall a year where we've had a handful of natural Ethiopian coffees that have scored at a level 4 for cleanliness. Couple that with the amount of high end roasters releasing these coffees, and it has really helped renew our overall faith in naturals
@@CoffeeReviews Glad to hear that you're enjoying these coffees :-) Both clean Naturals and Washed :-) It matches my experience with Ethiopians for this year as well ☺ On the other hand Kenyans have been surprisingly underwhelming compared to previous years and I'm still waiting for a good one.
@@Pawel-D agree a bit on Kenyans as we haven't had one from this year that has been a true standout yet. There's still time, but nothing quite as memorable in years past
Wonderful blueberry scent and taste and very reasonably priced .
WN does such a good job with natty Ethiopians imo. Really liked this one too! One of the better naturals I've had from Ethiopia this year
And credit to you for bringing them in initially, they are doing such great work with them! Cheers ☕️
I got some from Airworks/Jacob earlier this year. I really liked it.
More Wes Ngopi on their way!
This coffee sounded very good! I need to get my hands on wes ngopi

This one sounds truly amazing! 🤩How do you see Ethiopians in general this year?
