Worked for Gardaworld, met a lot of really interesting people that worked overseas in the Middle East, our company did embassy protection and was in the ground doing extraction during the fall of Kabul. I worked only in the states, doing armed security for several big hospitals. A lot of our teams were ex military and retired law enforcement.
@@George-Hawthorne Yeah I remember hearing about that one, just didn't hear about the G4S one, that's crazy.. Time to start a company and sell it off to the big dogs. lmao

I'm curious about the expected number of applicants, as the demand and flexibility for the sites they're actually deployed to should be diverse more than ever.
True, but let’s not forget that strikes back then often closer to the leftist riots we’ve seen over the last year than they are what most people think of as a labor strike today, such as picketing and such. This isn’t to excuse the action taken against any specific group of strikers in history, I just wanted to provide a bit of, the often overlooked balance, because reality and history are often far less clear cut than any wish to make them seem.
I came to the comments to mention Allied. It seems every security company is being bought out by Allied. I briefly worked for Allied right as they were about to transition from AlliedBarton to Allied Universal. I am alarmed by how big they've become.
Not exactly the same thing, but similar enough that I’d suggest you check out the movie Siege at Jaddotsville. It’s the true story (well mostly true from what I’d been able to discover) or Irish soldiers working as US peacekeepers in the Congo in the early 60’s when they were attacked by a large rebel force which was supplemented and supported by a large number of mercenaries, many of whom it’s been claimed were actually members of the French Foreign Legionnaires, but were operating covertly to give the French government the ability to deny involvement with the attack on UN peacekeepers. Sadly the Irish military looked down upon the units involved with derision because the company ended up being forced to surrender. This despite the Irish troops having beaten back countless waves of a much larger force (the 156 Irish troops faced 3-5000 rebels and mercenaries,) and had received little to no support by UN command, but the Irish unit had literally fought off the much large force until they were out of food, water and ammunition.
I'm a private security contractor for a company and enjoy my work. Us in the security field need to put good work in and do the best we can bc we already get a bad rep in a lot of places
Most of the images are random. Models posing for stock footage etc and unless some of these more active groups are allowed to wear American military uniforms complete with unit patches then those have nothing to do with the companies either.

Top 3 PMC’s in Games

Number 2: BO2 Mercs

Atlas is the best
Russian PMC KONNI GROUP ☠️
The actual largest security company would be the unmentioned Securitas with 370 000 employees worldwide.
Not totally unmetioned, he did say they bought up Pinkerton's.. but yeah.
Actually, G4S had 625,000 people at its peak and now thanks to the recent merge with Allied Universal their numbers have swelled to 800,000

Pinkerton agency sounds so familiar for rdr2 in real life there
At one point, Securitas AB (the company who currently owns Pinkerton) sued Rockstar over alleged negative depiction of Pinkertons.

Pinkertons also murdered steelworkers many years ago who wanted better working conditions.
