    Thanks Dean. I think I can try an ornament also. I have turned larger snowmen to sit on a flat surface but this is a challenge and also will try the skew.

    Another nice video Dean, thanks. Each time I see you sand, it looks like the paper is rubberized. I didn't think you could burn lines without cutting a groove. I have some formica squares, will try it without a groove. Stay safe.

    Thanks for the ornament series very helpful to learn from. Where do you get the flexible sand paper from I've only been able to find 220 and it was $10 a sheet

      Mr. Bill the truth is I do not know. my lathe does not have a digital readout. I can advise you that on something this small you can turn it as fast as you are comfortable with. just remember if it seems too fast slow it down. Thanks for Watching!!!

    Dean what angle do you grind your skews at? I just made a skew out of 1/4 inch hss stock...works great for those tight spaces...love the videos
