Like the comment before i even finished the first ad for this video. I guess i need a 30 minute video for something as simple as this, cus these other videos just dont show any specifics at al. All i see it wires going j to places that i cant tell what they are.
Hello. Can you drink with the reverse osmosis filter and without the deionizer filter? My city is having a problem with the salinity of the tap water. I would like to know if the version of this product without a deionizer works for me. Thank you.
I used remaining tubing that came with this product. The tubing attached to the bottom of the DI filter is your actual out flow RO water, so the tubing should lead to a container for this finished product.
@@Dolfin93 Make sure all your connections are correct. Something is definitely wrong. You might have a bad part but make sure there are no kinks and disconnect and reconnect your tubing. I’m sure it’s something easy that you may have missed.
@@Dolfin93 you might want to talk to the company about this issue. if there is a real issue that can't be fixed at least they can replace defective equipment.
The purpose of this is to remove everything from your tapwater except H2O. Pure water is the end result after the reverse osmosis and DI filter. Once you have pure water you can remineralize it with exactly what you want to have inside of your planted aquarium and buffer it to the proper pH of your liking.
This is the best video I’ve found that explains setup. Great job! :)

Thank you for explaining this system installation so clearly. Keep the great work!
You’re very welcome, i’m glad to help in anyway I can.
Di connection is backwards compared to the instructions. It goes from the capped end to your collection vessel.
Watching this video 50 gal in to filtering and started to panic until I double checked the instructions.
Made my installation so much easier! Thanks for the video
Good video!
Thank you! This video is better than the company one, it helped me a lot.
Thank you for the step by step my bro! You earned a subscribe. 💯🤜🤛
Nice job. Thanks for the great explanation.
How often do you change out the filters?? And would I have to replace the Membrane as well
You can also use your aquarium airpump tubing for the tubes on this rodi unit =)
Nice video.. question I can only use my shower head.. would it come with an adapter for that?
thank you for the good work. is it possible to not mount the system to the wall?
I personally wouldn’t think that it would be a problem, Just make sure the system is vertical.

I accidentally ran it with the deox cart still on while the membrane was on just for a few minutes is that a big deal?
I set it up and was drinking this water ,but was told it's not for drinking? is it a water purifier for people
Technically it’s is safe to drink and is used for medical reasons but lacks needed minerals for your body and importantly your heart.
I wonder how many would take chain ganged together to h zero waste?
What connection did you use under the sink. Looking to tap into my water line also
I don’t use a connection under the sink I connected to the faucet
Is the di filter supposed to be flushed as well?
Do we need to remineralise if there is no di filter? I bought the non di version.
I would remineralize to the needed values
@@novaaquatics9137 And wat is the needed value? Its measured in TDS ryt?
@@ellavarkumnamaskaram Yes I would measure TDS to get a general idea and add buffers and remineralize to a proper TDS of your liking
@@novaaquatics9137 Thanku. And is there a particular value u follow for the TDS? is it 150?
@@ellavarkumnamaskaram anything between 120 to 200 is good for most fish. Shrimp like it lower but they require salts and special remineralizer’s
What tube did you hook to the bottom of the di filter?

How do I get more flow for the filtered side I’m only getting a drip
Did you just install it? Or have you had it for a long time
@@novaaquatics9137 i just installed it and not a single drop is coming out now wtf

@@novaaquatics9137 naw I literally did everything exactly like you it started messing up after I put the membrane in

If you don’t mind me asking what is this purpose for this and thank you Dan
