As a bad ute I used to rate bashy cos he wore the gyallis badge proudly, never tried to act bad. Ngl he transitioned exactly how I thought he would, always had that 'will smith type' potential. Lastly 'Black Boys' was groundbreaking in the UK scene, legendary track to say the least🫡

He's making quality music with a magnitude of cultural, political and social awareness. There's skill and lyricism, but then more importantly there's awareness. Bashy has it all! We celebrate that!

I didn’t want this episode to end. Amazing episode lads. Conversation was organic and natural. Line on questioning was perfect from both Tazer and Marv &’the admiration both lads had for Bashy and giving him his flowers just made me so happy to see.
Hearing his journey and learning just how hard he has work throughout his life and his career is so inspiring!
Loved the pod!! Just a tip as a sound engineer, either take out a bit of the high frequencies in the sound or add more low end so it’s more pleasant to listen to, a touch of dessing too👌🏾 bit harsh for my sensitive ears annoyingly. Or get dynamic microphones, they can be listened to for hours as they don’t really have harsh frequencies. Again take it or leave it, just an input from someone who cares about our culture! ❤️
Oi nah it's Bashy aka Mr Bish Bash Bosh...it honestly is great to see man like Bashy on 3 Shots of Tequila podcast. And great that he is back making music. Despite conquering the acting world. Amazon Prime need to do a season 2 of Them. Bashy was a brilliant co-lead actor in that show.

Tazer - The sleep condition your friend has is called Narcolepsy. It’s not very common at all, you don’t realise you have it until you’re really invested in something you love and you can’t stay awake. It’s hard to live with because people don’t understand aswell. Definitely needs more light shed on it.

Marv sounds like that area manager knew what you were doing, she was trying to get you to come out that shell. I've done the same to the managers under me. She probably heard about you from colleagues and knew the persona didn't match the stories. Seems like she was trying to say be more yourself. I get it can be harder for black guys/girls because there's so many situations where people hold that against them in the corporate world. Seems like she was one of the good ones

An artist of substance and man of integrity. 'Life', 'Black Boys', 'Kidulthood to 'Adulthood', 'Ransom', 'Big Love', 'Male Pride', 'Fantasy' and 'These Are The Songs', to name a few from Bashy's catalogue. It was nice to hear his story, innumerable times, we learn often the come up is not overnight. A great role model for black male adolescents. Some music isn't for dancing to, it is for elevating and sharpening your consciousness and taking you on a journey, Bashy's music is of this type.

You lot need to stop this camera bouncing back n forth nonsense. This rapid switching from person to person every 2secs wit the close ups is just jarring and making my head spin ffs. Can't you lot just do one wide shot with everyone in the frame? I mean how small is that room?? It's a shame because Bashy's a legend and i'm sure this would've been a great watch but i couldn't even get past 5mins without starting to get dizzy! #CameraChoas
