Once a racer, always a racer. Simon being very critical of his lines. Haha. Thanks for the great lap!🏁
Simon go back any indian remembered .
Jost a joke nathing much than that so please take it as joke.
Simon is insane, giving commentary at 270 kmh 🐐
in unfamiliar territory..
Welcome to India MotoGP. Super excited for the race
New favorite series to watch on TH-cam. Love to hear Simon go through these tracks, makes me feel like I’m right there with him. Thanks Simon!
Buddh circuit actually has a total straight of 1.250 meters based GPS view if measured from Turn-3 until end of Turn-4. This more longer than COTA circuit real straight 1.170 meters
And based Brembo simulation data, Braking distance there about 300 meters before Turn-4, So has acceleration space around 950 meters from Turn-3 to Turn-4. Many experts predicting top speed 10 km/h higher than COTA record
We are looking at 355 to 360 with ease. Maybe higher into the 360's with the perfect slipstream and wind direction. Let's see what these 300+ horsepower beasts can do.
@@Dinara1up Yes, the closest comparison is COTA circuit were two curves are similar characters and has straight more 80 meters more longer, it should be faster. Btw now COTA speed record is 356.4 km/h by Maverick Vinales
It would be easy 370 with fresh soft tyre, slipstream, and ducati engine...
At COTA where the track is slightly curved and uphill at the start, still can reach +350 km/h
Meanwhile Buddh straight track is really straight and downhill at the middle, adding to the kinetic effect to be more faster
lets just hope it doesnt rain @@Dinara1up
All requests to Indian crowd please make it a hit a super blockbuser hit
Ohh it WILL be a hit as the most expensive tickets are mostly sold out, all of the Hotels nearby are sold out for this event.
@@kestrel3509Nah. Only 45% of the stadium is occupied from what we saw Today.
@@indrockz92 But today it seems full.
@@PrashantEM7 Yeah almost. Gotta feel sad for Bagnaia.
It's so gratifying to see crafar struggling exactly where the rest of us mere mortals do too 😅😅 the first time I was out on this track, the blind corners and elevation changes did my head in. And the parabola, as always, does everyone's heads in all the time. Have a good one everyone! Weather is not the best (November end would have been lovely for you guys) but man this track is wild.
Master Vudu seems to find him self in a challenging ground .
Hope the GP riders find the circuit fun.
Bring these back for every race!!! They bring in new fans
Welcome MOTOGP to INDIA we love you ...
Simon is so humble.. what a guy 👌
I told you.this track has everything.
Except safety
@@ale99bigsoos23 what more for safety?
@@ale99bigsoos23I think turn 3 is the only real concern. This should be fixed by air fence.
Safety wise it's no worse than other tracks like Catalunya, I'm not making this up, this was said by one of the riders
@ale99bigsoos23 this track is quite old, and not many upgrades have been given to it, surely after the 1st moto gp race they will consider adding more safety stuff
Wating this moment
love from India ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love it when Simon takes us around the track 👍!
The Vudu Master shows us how it's done! Simon is the best part of MotoGP for me. I've learned so much about racing and my own street riding from Mr. Crafar.
Agreed ! Simom is the Peoples contact to Racing Moto GP ! Looking Forward to the RACE !!!!!!
That a challenging track.... that's what makes Indian Grand Prix The Best...the winner of Indian Grand Prix will be on the sky....
Amazing Track! Hello India from Kazakhstan!
Borat❤
Dude Borat is just a character and it’s just a movie, he has nothing to do with Kazakhstan!!!!@@NoSingh-rx3mv

simon is a legend
Yes you got right
Simon sir clear articulated point from racer prospect is like gold ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Dorna give him some bonus for be the secret ingredient of Moto gp
Simon is a legend, my favorite in the GP cast!
Its a really proud moment for me as our country has hosted MotoGp for first time.
If MotoGP was smart, they will share the race broadcast for free across India this year to stir up interest. I bet it would be one of the biggest non-Indian sporting events of the year.
It's broadcasted on JioCinema for free
Its already free on JioCinema, every MotoGP race this year is
It is being broadcasted for free not by motoGP but by Reliance JIO
He is talking about broadcasting it on it’s official TH-cam channel, since TH-cam is more accessible
@@TheGreatVivek7 Yeah on their official TH-cam channel would be great.
This should be a regular thing at every race. Simon Crafar is a boss on any bike be it Moto GP or Superbike

Welcome to India 🇮🇳
Welcome...hope you like the track and the hospitality
Driven on this track during track day event. It's a beautiful circuit, it's shame that they don't uave more different kinds of events throughout the year.
Always enjoy Simons input and enthusiasm. Keep up the great work mate👍👍👍

Awesome content. Really good stuff here. Much respect to Simon.
Thank you so much for sharing this.
You still got it Simon!! Awesome ride with you Bro.
Thanks for this epic lap onboard, Crafar!
that long straight, I can't imagine how fast the riders will be especially the Ducati's lads, I mean, Simon use a BMW superbike it top around 270 km/h, so probably there'll be a new top speed record from this track
363km
will depend on the grip really we'll see
There is a video of a bone stock Panigale v4 hitting 300+ on that straight. th-cam.com/video/3s2xmrQXmtI/w-d-xo.html
Yup, KTM and Ducati riders gonna feel themselves.
Welcome MotoGP team and family to Bharat(India)🇮🇳🙏🏻…
Great to hear his excitement and the race day was amazing 🎉🎉

So pleasant to see him having so much fun! Enjoy Simon, you deserve it!!!
Excited about this Man!
Long straight -- Ducati 🚀🚀
ktm
@@awesomed007 hey bro now what .. Where is the result of Ur chappri bike .
from 13th to 4th, ktm and bezz were the greats .... bb33 got bad pole due to yellow flags twice, slower riders were ahead ... if he was on first or second row, would be on podium in 2nd or 3rd spot. MM93 would love every track to be india, hahaha ... he did well@@bikashbeylindok5321
dude, every bend, on binder did toprack moves aka stoner ... nobody else dared do that ... if ktm had a tad more power ... it always runs out of steam@@bikashbeylindok5321
Great work Simon.
Welcome to India, we will be there during the weekend 🇮🇳
👍👏✊😀
Great video 🏁
Simon you rock!
excitedddddd
Looks like you had fun. nice new track to ride that even comes with its own sauna to help you clean out your pours 😉
From the way he talking and feel the track n comparing with other section from other circuit i think this one will be a new good schedule in motogp calendar.
I dont know if the rider also feel the same maybe this one also can be a new pra season test circuit.
I also see the picture and yeah i like the layout of this circuit.
I can see long straight section(double) tight chicane n corner short stop n go section also long wide corner.
Simon rocks.
Yes awesome stuff.
Thanks a lot Simon ✊
Thanks Simon!
Simon Crafar is a reminder that we can keep a proper conversation while on full throttle
The tarmac is really looking superb!
Thank you Simen i did enjoy it and always your commentary.
Very good idea Sir.. Woww
Great video and motorcycle
Old man Crafar can still do it.. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
INDIAN WONDERS 🇮🇳
Give Simom more laps(filmed)! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 let him get into it, 15min
OMG such turns
Simon--You are the man! :D ☮
We Indians from Maharashtra found the humidity excruciating.
I can only imagine what kind of hell it must have been for all of you coming from outside India.
Hope that everyone recovers soon!

motegi, sepang, buddh. asia has very good circuits.
The Korean one was good too. Can’t remember it’s name
you forgot Buriram!
I never expect to see an F1 circuit back in action for another motor racing category. Last year, it was the other way around for Losail Circuit.
let's gooooooo
Would be nice to have a small map shows bike position 😊
Now we need a MotoGP rider to take us around the track and talk like this!
I see you revving gearing down, doesn’t the bike do that automatically, I thought that was like a rev match function/feature?
The M1000 definitely has an autoblip. After decades of manually blipping its probably impossible for Simon to stop.
Selamat Datang Di India Untuk 2 Kejuaraan Event Balapan Internasional Yaitu Motogp Dan Formula E!
Truly appreciate 🇮🇳
Can't wait to see who will be the winner of this circuit
Well that was cool wow Go Pro as well

That first straight looks like the one in Austin and we all know what happened there in 2021 during the Moto3 race

Dude you are incredible.
Corner no. 3,4 & 14 looks quite sharp and scary.
Nice
You need to come to India each year
that beast is mine iwll ride that beast oye
♥️🤝🍻
Sebastian vettel was simply a juggernaut on this track unbeatable to the max he won every race held on the circuit. There was no stopping him his tyre marks from the victory doughnuts still exist there
racer soul is within Simon, he still can laugh at 270 km/h
so badly hope riders like it 🙏
Why do you blip the throttle on downshifts? Or on any shifts? Or anywhere? I’m just a regional racer on a ‘16 s1000rr. Help me understand the advantage to blipping the throttle....thanks PS, I enjoy every lap you do, thatns for doing them!!!
Its an old school rider habbit because there were no auto-blippers to match the revs on downshifts so he does it in order to get more engine breaking to help the bike to stop just a bit.
@@arjunakozmin4927 No it’s generally not to get more engine braking it’s to try and match the revs on the downshift to prevent rear wheel lock up
