Congratulations, we did the same walk 43 years ago, Lukla airstrip was grass and gravel, Namche Bazaar was a small village we slept in tents in yak fields outside monasteries and tea houses. No crowds, kids running with us barefoot from village to village. It was magic. 17 days in 6 days out, 23 days to do the same journey.
I'm going Nepal in September, not EBC this time, I am heading to Langtang Trek, revisit the site of the 2015 earthquake, support the local community and pay my respects, one day maybe EBC 🇳🇵🇮🇪 Nepal is filled with places to visit.
My husband and I have done Mardi Himal treck in May whitin 3 days - My body let me down at 3000 m I had to stay at tea house and my husband has reached @ 4200 m Mardi Himal treck view point. We are over 50 ( working in the office🤦♀)- that was really hard for us - we were hiking 9 hours first day I had altitude sickness despite taking medication 😞😞 Anyhow watching your video it looks easy but we know how hard it was even for you young / and fit !! We are so proud of ourselves - we will remember this for ever.... Lots of love from Jersey Channel Island xx
Thank you Shev and Dev for portraying Nepal's beautiful Himalayas, people, culture, and hospitality. You both are true lovers of nature and the people around you ❣❣❣
As a Pakistani I fully support love and respect South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂. May Allah SWT bless South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂
I’m a big fan! I love your videos since you came to the Philippines. These Nepal episodes are really exciting and entertaining. You are doing an amazing job! Keep it up 👍🏼 🇵🇭 P.S. Add your little brother everywhere you go!
Absolutely incredible video ! Loving this series so much. EBC is something I have always wanted to do but never got round to it. Now I am 51 and I don't know how old Dev's dad is, but now I am motivated to take the plunge after watching him and a big thankyou to all of you, you are such an inspirational team. Seen many documentaries over the years, about Everest and the journey but this video series is by far the best and most detailed I have seen. Thanks again Shev and Dev and the team
Shevelle & Devan thanks for sharing your memorable trek going to Mount Everest. This trek is not for the faint of heart and requires physical and mental stamina. Your father-in-law & brother-in-law have very cheerful personalities and you are blessed to share this epic adventure with them. Looking forward to your next episode. Best wishes Toronto, Canada.
Those are really crazy temperatures! The height you achieved in this video was a great feat! Not everyone is brave enough to do this specially if your not really trained, but damn shev is one brave girl! We are proud of you! ❤ excited for part 4!
Absolutely amazing! Your journey through the Himalayas is incredibly inspiring. The video perfectly captures the emotions and challenges you faced along the way. Your courage and resilience are commendable. Looking forward to the next part of your trek! 👏🏔️😍👍
I watched the whole video. I love it, felt like I was there with you guys. Everest base camp is so amazing. I was lucky to be able to do it 7 years ago. Watching your video makes me want to go back to Nepal again and do another trek.
Shev and Dev Thank you for sharing your Adventure in claiming Mount Everest. I'm proud that our Philippines flag is at top of Simon Front. I'm a Filipino from Makati City. GOD Bless you and your family, Stay safeout there.
Love you two! I go once a year to a weekend for Christian men in Switzerland, hiking. The first time in 2021, I thought I was dying, but I guess this is a walk in the park compared to you guys! You are adorable and truly achieved something! Regarding the flag: Israel. Not my home country, but the only place where I feel truly home among those I love!
Great going you troopers! The willpower that you guys summon is truly inspiring. This Nepali dude abroad feels grateful to be summitting EBC through your lens. Dhan-ye-bad! Power to you all ✊
Another amazing video! You guys did so well. Shev, you made us cry seeing you unwell and so sad. We hugged you through the screen! You guys have really inspired us to challenge ourselves with an adventure like this.
@@ShevandDev Thanks for sharing these amazing adventures with us. I think vlogging in these conditions might be even harder than climbing the mountain 🤣
You guys are the best. I wish you guys have a successful and safe Everest base camp and come back safely as heros. Loads of love and respect for all of you. ❤️❤️🫡 Love Love and Love only from INDIA🇮🇳
5000 meters you say wow :) I bet you guys are in shape now after doing all these steps and climbing, 1 degree it is chilly not cold, you should come to Toronto Canada in winter to say it is cold, although we are getting close to summer. it is so amazing to see mount Everest I should say live, hang in there Shev. I should send the Canadian flag to ad on the teddy Bear. waiting for your next vlog, be safe :)
1 degrees in high altitude is generally colder than 1 degrees in lower altitude like toronto. Temperature decreases with increasing altitude due to the decrease in air pressure and the expansion of the air. As a result, the same temperature value at a higher altitude will feel colder than at a lower altitude.
Super lovely couple 💓 with great attitude and amazingly beautiful sceneries and landscapes, what else you need! Thanxs for this awesome quality video 👍❤️
Wow! This is amazing! I am so amazed that Shev/Dev are getting to see and do something few of us will ever do. Thanks for sharing this! Your videos are amazing! Shev is such a trooper! What she’s doing is not easy! But, she’s doing it. Dev is so good at supporting her. That’s why people enjoy your videos. 2 people that are doing incredible things and are very decent people. I know my father always said he knew where he was when the announcement that Everest had been climbed. In 1953? Over 70 years ago. Wow!
Well done folks!!!! Would be a challenge for most, but really have to call out Shev for a MASSIVE effort! (Respectfully) She is so piette and just would not not have the advantage of lots muscle & fat storage to burn for endurance! So to be able to do what she did is like 3-4 times more difficult compare to the boys!!!! Well done Shev!!!! Be proud of that achievement! Your tough as a rock!!!!
WOW, how wonderful this video is. I give you all so much credit. You all must be in remarkable condition to climb and withstand the elements that high. And I can only imagine the emotional situations your all having but for Dev to have his father and brother with him on this journey. It truly made me emotional. Like when Shevs mother and father were on the climb with you. All of you have my total respect for your endurance and ability on this journey.
Yes it is difficult to hike in EBC (everest base camp) but once you are there the beauty of everest will be running in your blood !! When ever you think in hustle and bustle of every day work about your hike at everest, it will definately refreshen you i think.
Amazing! luv this as I saw Simon 🐻my 🇵🇭 and feel so proud of you guys✨one of my bucket list too, hope as couple can brave and fit to do the same way too.Take & God Bless♥️ greetings 🇩🇪
