Also made a straight crossing from Dudh Kund Lake to upper Khumbu, maybe about the sixth foreigner ever to explore that route successfully. Helicopter back is cheating. My first trek to EBC and around Khumbu took 42 days total, walking in and out from/to Jiri, including climb to Lho La (6000m pass north of EBC), Amphu Labtsa and Mera.

The best time for trekking in Nepal is during the pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November) seasons. These months offer clear skies, moderate temperatures, and stable weather, ideal for scenic mountain views. The monsoon season (June to August) brings heavy rains, making trails muddy and risky, while winter (December to February) is colder with potential snow at higher altitudes.
F why can't capture videos and picture, those air companies cannot maintain their airplanes, there are risk for them they will get punished, if they caught off guard. If we cannot capture videos and pics why we visit there? and i wanna say they must be banned from Nepal even they are Nepali companies. well, government is corrupted who will punish them?
