Pyrenean mountain run - epic climb!

Stick the subtitles on for this one - was a windy one!
Aleix, a Catalan local, elite runner and representative of Overland Running Provisions in Girona, took Jan (a beautiful Danish soul and epic runner) and I up one hell of a climb to what felt like the roof of the Pyrenees. My mind was blown at pretty much every moment on this run... breathtaking views, savage climbing and stunning natural beauty.
Ascending rocky, steep and technical terrain in the Pyrenees was some of the hardest running I have ever done; the brutally cold wind ripping over the mountains was the coldest wind I've felt; and descending carelessly through thick snow was the most fun I've ever had whilst running!
This is the type of video I'm looking forward to showing people in 20 years time! Jan says to the camera that this was poetry in motion - he wasn't wrong!

Shame you lost the hat to the Pyrenees, but well worth it to soak in those spectacular views!
