We need to see an Elder Scrolls game where you get to interact and see the Dwemer when they were still walking Tamriel so probably something in the first era
There are alot of conflicting theories on what happened to the dwemer, did they achieve CHIM or were they erased from existence leaving only Yagrum Bagarn behind as a punishment/accidental mishap. Some think they sum-zeroed after failing to reach full CHIM when the heart was activated, but if they did then all of their creations would've disappeared as well since their creations can't exist without the creators if the creators never existed at all therefor their creations wouldn't exist either. (Note: ES sum zero is different than mathematical sum zero.) I think they either 1. They did achieve CHIM or 2. Were wiped from existence by the gods as a punishment, missing only Yagrum Bagarn because he was out of the realm at the time and the gods didn't care enough to bother wiping him too. But this just like all the others is another theory with no bases on fact.
Ummm that's incorrect there creations can exist without them it's just they stopped existing from that point not that there entire being and history was erased so.... Yes there stuff can be left behind just not then it's like when thanos snapped yes they don't exist but caption America and a few others remember them so yeh

The Dwarves are not to be underestimated. Until we see a mass grave we should assume they are at most displaced not extinct. I really hope we get to see Dwemer in the next game. In an unmarked location.
These three items when combined with the Dwemer’s ability to telepathically link their species dissolved all of them to aetheric energy and absorbed into the heart of Lorkhan
highly unlikely. the aetherium forge is located in skyrim far away from vaardenfel, additionally the aetherium forge was shut down and the key dismantled, due to infighting amongst the dwemer of skyrim. so for keening be be made with aetherium, kagranac would have had to have found the four pieces of the aetherium key, along with aetherium, use the aetherium forge, dismantle the key and hide the pieces in four different locations, then return to vaardenfel all while the nords where at war with the first council.
Or you know, there was more than just those four tiny pieces of Aetherium? The chances of a perfect dwemer tool like Keening having aetherium is a near 100% chance. Those four pieces were simply all that remained of the aetherium in Skyrim.
@@Rukoryuzaki we see what i believe is aetherium all over the place in dwemer caves, so its not that its all taht remains, just we cant get any more of it. The way to mining Aetherium was lost with the dwemer when they vanished. So the key was the last mined atherium.
@@Rukoryuzaki They were referring to the four pieces because they were the key to the Aetherium Forge, and you can't craft an Aetherium Dagger without the Aetherium Forge... Although I'd argue that the Dwemer probably did succeed in crafting with Aetherium before the Forge was built, it was probably just very difficult. A skilled crafter such as Kagranak wouldn't need the forge to make Keening though.
What I’ve never understood is why were the tribunal successful in becoming gods when they used the tools on the heart but the dwemer weren’t? Why didn’t the tribunal disappear like the dwemer?
Well when you put it like that, it could be said that the dwemer SUCCEEDED in using the tools, and just created their own world/dimension in which wasnt on nirn. But we'll probably never know for sure.
I wish we saw more of the Dwemer and the Snow Elves, I really like their culture it’s nothing like every other civilisation that’s risen and fallen in Tamriel.
As much as I'd like the dwemer to reappear and finally answer a lot of questions, im conflicted since the longer they stay gone the more interesting theories sprout up about them.
Every time i hear the phrase "good daedra" I laugh. No such thing. From things I have seen in the lore none of them would I classify as perfectly "good".
It’s just a Mer word for not-creators or something like that. The word itself doesn’t demand evil. It just happens that most are malevolent. Might be mad that they were almost tricked into giving away all of their power. Mortals are a living, breathing reminder of their kind’s downfall.
Um Meridia? Or Azura who gets a bad wrap bc Mortals cross her and then the mortals play "Oh poor me, the Star totally corrupted me and it wasnt at all my own fault, just that DEADRA" fuck off that one elf from the black star quest
Fun story: on the xbox version holding l,r, and x, any bonus on an item increases and becomes permanent, not just tied to the weapon. So the staff of nighteye can make even the darkest room blinding. Well I decided to use one of them, can remember which. With this. Held down the buttons and started watching tv. Forgot what i was doing and came back 5minute later and i could no longer jump, because the slightest hop would launch me into the stratosphere but i could run across the continent in about 10 minutes, I was so fast.
I would love to see a video on the events of c0da. I found MK's idea of the dwemer becoming part of the numidium fascinating, and you guys do such great in-depth explanations on the series lore.
An episode about dwarven tools and you explain why all the dwarves disappeared halfway through like everyone already knew it. I kind of feel like you undersold this video i bit. just what happened to all the dwarves is one of the top things i have been wondering at since i started playing skyrim.
So THATS how they disappeared! But where did they go? Did they cease to exist? Get transported to some other dimension? Get bound to some object? Who knows, we sure don’t know for certain.
Is there a quest that requires all 3 artifacts to complete? I've somehow stumbled across and collected all three of them, now what do I do with them besides decorating my in game home with them?
I see a potential major plot point for Elder Scrolls 6 here. I think the Dwemer really are just trapped in a hidden pocket of Oblivion somewhere. Add in the fact that Jyggalag was split from Sheogorath at the end of the Shivering Isles DLC and is now free roaming Oblivion doing who-knows-what, both having nothing but time on their side and waiting for the perfect moment for their return! Jyggalag will come back, it's just the matter of when and how! Enter in the state of the known world of the Elder Scrolls, which is in a state of frickin' chaos, perfect opportunity! The Dwemer think they now have the god that they always wanted, logic and reason personified, but we all know, they are about to unleash upon of all of Nirn, a frickin' NIGHTMARE! If this actually happens, the Divines will be all but powerless against him, so it will come down to a very particular Daedric Prince that will and can save them all because he knows first hand what Jyggalag is and what he is capable of. It is the Daedric Prince of Madness himself, Sheogorath! This could be a large part of Elder Scrolls 6! The people thought the Oblivion Crisis was bad, that will pale in comparison to the Greymarch if it arrives on Tamriel!
Thing is tho, Jyg would be extremely weakened. He doesn't have a plane of oblivion, his source of power, anymore. At most, I think he would get caught, and experimented upon, by the dwemer.

so while the dwarves tried to bend the power to their will and were wiped from existence, the chimer borrowed the power with respect and grew stronger. still makes me wonder just how "dead" lorkon actually is. i mean heart ripped out, blood sprayed all over the planet, body torn in two and sent to the heavens....is he truely dead?
More comatose I suspect. He could return if enough worshippers followed him, probably. Dagoth Ur was kind of right. In that universe you can't kill an actual god. Although, apparently, those who ascended via borrowed divine power can be killed.
Maybe the dwemer are actually from the previous caliper and somehow survived, it would explain their highly advanced tech and beliefs, and maybe even explain why alduin tried to break this caliper cycle.
Anybody else feel the need to capitalize Tools of Kagrenac, like it's a proper noun? I feel like they carry such heavy weight to the lore & the plot that it should be capitalized. Or still "the Tools"
Can we get builds out of this? A Tonal Architect build that uses the tools of Kagrenac, maybe some builds modeled after the different tribunal members??? Maybe a Nerevarine build??
I was just playing a dwarven build on my vanilla game (with cc) used dwarven crown of winter with aetherial shield and dwarven black bow of fate. Ofc with wraithguard and sunder as main weapon. Also used the ward of the season armor but normal boots. I don’t think there is any unique dwarven boots but does anyone know?
Hey guys, off topic but any chance of some Vokrii based builds? I discovered it recently and for me it combines the best of vanilla and Ordinator (read it keeps my favorite stuff and jettisons the rest) and while I'm perfectly capable of making my own builds I really enjoy your build videos. Already looking at some of my favorite Ordinator builds to see if I can adapt them.
The CC content was meant to be cannon, meaning the Dragonborn is now the most powerful individual in existence. Able to make or break the world in so many different ways.
So the dwemer find the heart of the elven devil so they war and kill themselves. We nords find the eye of a God and almost get wiped out by snow elves but we wiped them out instead.
It's really simple from the lore wraithgaurd is for protection sunder is to make a little break in the heart and keening is to extract the amount of energy required you also need to do them in a specific sequence similar to the one we did in the end of morrowind to destroy the heart
And then you can find all three tools in Skyrim where they've conveniently lost most of their power, making them safe to use like any normal weapon, including upgrading them at the forge of some backwater collection of huts calling itself a settlement and even selling them for change. The amount of lore breaking taking place there is cringeworthy.

, but it was the same man that he met that day the man who gave him the item the dwemer spoke "where are we and who are you?", the man said "I am the creator of that world in which you came from, I am a man powerful enough to go to that world and give you that key", the dwemer asked " Are you a daedra!?" he readily thought of spells to combat the man, but it does not work he simply has no magic wherever he is, the man said " Don't waste your time in this world no magic can ever work or casted, I don't know how you managed to get to my world or maybe you got in the same way as I have entered your world no matter you and
your kind will be deleted.", then the dwemer responsed " What, What do you mean by deleted, you cannot kill my own kind and beside you gave me this key your the one responsible for this!", the man replied " Yes, I gave you that key for it was a test on whether you would simply put it back on the keyboard or use it for your own selfish desire in which you clearly failed.", the dwemer was shocked by this and immediately go to the keyboard and figure out how to go back to his world, he put the key back on the keyboard and pressed it and as soon as he pressed it he got back to his world. Terrified on what he had discovered he wanted to get a drink and when opened the door he was nowhere and
everyone of his kind was too they were in a blank space of nothingness and then a voice spoke up in that realm saying "IT JUST
WORKS".
If you got this far well congratulations.

Always coming in clutch during my work hours. Third shift is long, but seems so short with my daily dosage of Fudge
I'm a bit late to comment but i've been binge watching as much FudgeMuppet content as I can find lately, dunno how I ever missed such an awesome channel before!
About a year ago I tried to play Morrowind, and as someone who like many others was introduced to TES via Skyrim, I just couldn't stick with it despite the region and the story deeply interesting me. The Dunmer and the Dwemer, and the whole war of Red Mountain and the fallout of it are to me some of the most engaging bits of lore I've stumbled upon in TES so far, and I've really been enjoying exploring it more via these videos. Maybe one day i'll try to play the game again, but until then these videos have me covered!
actually Kagrenak made a miscalculation, he needs a 4-th tools - The Boots of containing - pair of boots that isolate the loss of power through automatic discharging into the earth. If these boots were created Kagrenak himself would have become a god fusing himself with allthe power from the heart into the numidium but instead he fried his whole race out of existace.
Man died cos he forgot grounding smh
I've never heard of The Boots of Containing, where is that info from?
Well, technically there's no proof he failed. For all we know he succeeded and the dwemer now live in some sotha sil type dimension.
We need to see an Elder Scrolls game where you get to interact and see the Dwemer when they were still walking Tamriel so probably something in the first era
Dagoth Ur. The one true friend, I always felt sad heading into that last fight.
that was one lame ending :(
You guys made me a fiend for lore thank you for educating me and helping me sleep
(Note: ES sum zero is different than mathematical sum zero.)
I think they either 1.
@@ki11j0y2 sum zero is complete erasure from time itself meani g they never existed but their stuff was made with tonal architecture thought i think they were simply bound to lorkhan
I feel bad for Dagoth. If they had just gotten rid of the tools he would have never gone insane.
Also he was the one that wanted to trash them in the first place.
I think that the dewemer got sucked into the Heart of Lorkhan and are now stuck with him. Oh, the conversations they must have.
7:10 "but what of the tools. but what about the tools." funny
Love the work keep it up guys
Something i've recently womdered Keenings crystal "blade" could it be made from Aetherium ?
highly unlikely.
the aetherium forge is located in skyrim far away from vaardenfel, additionally the aetherium forge was shut down and the key dismantled, due to infighting amongst the dwemer of skyrim. so for keening be be made with aetherium, kagranac would have had to have found the four pieces of the aetherium key, along with aetherium, use the aetherium forge, dismantle the key and hide the pieces in four different locations, then return to vaardenfel all while the nords where at war with the first council.
Nahh the blue/clear crystal dwemer blade(“refined” aetherium) is made of firewood 👀
But we'll probably never know for sure.
the events leading up to the war of the first council, the war its self, and the conclusion would make a great movie or trilogy
I wish we saw more of the Dwemer and the Snow Elves, I really like their culture it’s nothing like every other civilisation that’s risen and fallen in Tamriel.
I love this damn channel
Keening goes perfect with my bilbo baggins build. Invisibility spell with a powerful sneak attack is quite a combo, I took mirrak out soundly.
As much as I'd like the dwemer to reappear and finally answer a lot of questions, im conflicted since the longer they stay gone the more interesting theories sprout up about them.
Looks kinda like you need the infinity gauntlet, thors hammer, and an icicle!
Good timing, 2 days ago I searched for a lore video on this topic👍
Loving all the Morrowind lore!
Um
Meridia?
Or Azura who gets a bad wrap bc Mortals cross her and then the mortals play "Oh poor me, the Star totally corrupted me and it wasnt at all my own fault, just that DEADRA"
fuck off that one elf from the black star quest
If my mom asks what I'm doing all night I'm going to say "watching fudgemuppet"

And here I was about to go play some idol MV to help wake me up inside!
THE TOOLS TO MAKE A GOOD SLEEPING PATERN. boys, it’s time for bed
So says spoiled milk
Thank you Scott!!!! Watching this video as i relax on my porcelain throne...
"Anything is possible with willpower and a roll of duct tape"

Wiped out you say, tends to happen when you spit in the eye of a daedric prince
"Do you wanna make a Brass-God?"
"....Doesn't have to be a Brass-God"
*And bring Wraithguard, i have need of it*
I would love to see a video on the events of c0da.
The Dwemer's story is one big metaphor as to where humanity is headed, in my eyes.
being teleported into an artifact???? what....
yes
I always look forward to your new videos. Thank you for yet a cool yet informative video. 👍
From what I hear, you can see the Dwemer on DMT haha
Huh, I've been using Keening to cut butter. My old blade can barely cut through it.
Thanks so much for making these videos.
So THATS how they disappeared! But where did they go? Did they cease to exist? Get transported to some other dimension? Get bound to some object? Who knows, we sure don’t know for certain.
They are the brass skin of the Numidium
5:58 isn't there Calcelmo's Stone that could help?

The pokey toothpick of doom and the meat tenderizer of legend
Can we get builds out of this? A Tonal Architect build that uses the tools of Kagrenac, maybe some builds modeled after the different tribunal members??? Maybe a Nerevarine build??
Nerevarine build....that's called TES 3 Morrowind :P
@@unclesamiam5079 they've done a "true dragonborn" build in the past, it's not a stretch lol
Damn fine work! Bravo!
Kagrenac straight up phase shifted the frequency of his entire race...
And I run around Skyrim assaulting people with them had no idea they are the tools to make a god.
or nexus
Keening can be acquired through a side quest at the college of winter hold talk to Arniel Gane to activate the quest
Love the dwarves of elder scrolls, smartest race but uncecked ambition
Kagrenac was a genius but like our own world, genius can often be masking insanity and greed.
Whoa, 6 seconds ago?! Damn I don't have a "last time I was this early" joke D:
The quest for keening on Skyrim always glitched on my games and could never finish it.
Is the Dwemer why we cant have cymatics powered levitation boards yet?
Morrowind had that s tier lore I miss that game but I don't think I could play it again because of the mechanics
I always wondered why their weapons are normal sized but they are called dwarves. So are they normal sized or actually short like real dwarves?
They're normal sized, and they're actually elves not Dwarfs. The only reason they're called dwarf is because the Giants called them that.
Thank you for explaining. I admit I don't know the lore as well as I know the actual game. But it makes more sense now.
Hay fudgemuppet can ya now do a lor video on the kymia?
Would be interesting to have the dragonborn become a god for the next elder scrolls, probably won't happen but it would be cool.
Caigrank (sp???) succeeded beyond his wildest dreams when he elevated his entire race to a higher plain.
I really want to see how they used the heart of Lorkan to become living gods.
It's really simple from the lore wraithgaurd is for protection sunder is to make a little break in the heart and keening is to extract the amount of energy required you also need to do them in a specific sequence similar to the one we did in the end of morrowind to destroy the heart
MORE BUILD AND REMASRERED BUILD VIDEOS!!!!!
Whoa first time I’ve been this early
Veloth: "What is a king to a God?"
Dumac Dwarfking: "What?"
Somewhere else...
Kagnerec: "What is a god...to a non-believer?"
Dwemer Race: *poofs from existence*
We all know that path to godhood, soultrap on target + fortify skill (set value)/any beneficial spell (set value)
"Imagine what the Dwemer could have achieved with a god created for their own benefit." That's what the Magna Ge said about Mehrunes Dagon. Those who don't learn from history...
Wraithguard... The original infinity gauntlet
GOOD VIDEO SWEET NEREVAR.
Quick question,I got Sunder and Wraith guard but Keening is not functioning right. When I attack with Keening its not taking any health, stamina,or magika from my opponents. Before I got them it was now it isn't doing anything. so is it broken? Or did I just waste money on this thing.Ever since I added Umbra, Dawn and Dusk, and those special arrows its been playing different.
You should have just gotten the free mod that adds wraithguard and sunder, and it fixes Keening too
