One step forward, two steps back, the tuners credo 😊You'll get there, glad you found the rocker problem before it became a PROBLEM, good catch there Josh!
First of all, thanks for the extra video. Glad you caught the rocker problem before something bad happened. Im sure you will figure it out. Take care and I'll see you later.
I know it's frustrating at times, but that just makes the payoff at the end all the better. And the main thing is you're making great memories for your kids to look back on.
WOOHOO ...S L E E P E R D U D E..... Impeccable.... 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I was surprised as well to see the dyno #'s. I was fully expecting at least 725-750 pony powers. I think if you can get that exhaust opened up then Fairmont will come to life considerably. Can't put the air in if you're not moving it out. You'll figure it out Josh. You're too good at this not to.

Hey Josh I've commented before I think measuring the back pressure in your exhaust will show you that it increases after 11lbs of Boost it could also be loading up for the same reason requiring all the extra timing I still think that you should either build a tube chassis front end or window the inner front wheel wells and get yourself some exhaust flanges and build yourself a custom set of headers. How to fit more in that engine bay… ditch the shock towers. Convert to a Mustang II style front suspension and you can delete those shock towers. That would give you a ton more room in the engine bay.
Good luck, i hope it surprises everyone. Back pressure sensor could still be a solid insight, before trying to solve a problem that might not be a problem.

Ooops! I suspected something was up with the valve train with how it was acting on the dyno. Glad you tracked it down. Hope it rewards you with the power you feel like it should be making... I know you've put a lot into building a stout motor, so you can take it to the track with the family.
Good catch on the rocker arm, at least that’s all you did, I put all 8 pistons in upside down on my small block Chevy took it to the dyno and made like 20 pulls until it finally broke an intake valve and turned into engine soup 😂

Dear Sleeperdude family. 👍👌👏 At 35.18 min says it all! 😁 ;-) Maybe less hp than you expected but definitely and obviously a ton of torque. I said it before and say it again: You built a healthy torque monster that should be strong enough for whatever you wanna do with it. Of course I missed the faces of Wawa, Ralphie and Marge being with you while test driving the car. Maybe next time (at least I hope so). I'm sure that they will have a lot of fun. Maybe WaWa will even be allowed to drive this monster!? 2) Murphy seems to have the right size to be a perfect watch dog. Blocking the door so that any intruder can't get out is a great idea! 😁 ;-) It reminded me of the famous and wonderful movie "Bodyguard". Kevin Costner had to push away a big dog using a door just like you did. Best regards, luck and especially health to all of you (two and four legged ones).
I have been foot braking a small cubic inch v6 with somewhat large turbo for years. You need to make sure your rear brakes are the best they can be. We use two long shoes. Some use bigger wheel cylinders. You will also find out on a sticky track you will be able to hold more boost/rpm. Good Luck.
Those turbos should flow more hp than that, and the headers don't look any more restrictive than stock manifolds people use to make 2x that power on LS stuff. What were the IATs? it seems down a few hundred hp from what it should make even on relatively low boost, also the converter seems way too tight but if the motor is down on power fixing that will loosen it up a little.
@@sleeperdude2690 230 is pretty warm. But others have run e85 cars on similar hot air charge setups and still made respectable power. How much timing was it pulling?
