Don't have my hopes high after the confuse change where they annihilated almost every instance of it even where it was kinda the whole point of the obstacle (manor bats, mad lab obstacle course), but I'd love to be pleasantly surprised since I actually really enjoy the current rogue playstyle and will be sad if it disappears entirely.
Why didn't you just wait until tomorrow's testing session to actually give concrete info? You could've gotten better footage for everything and actual info on rogue rework, along with the other classes
Fury Flail is a thing because of the massive reach. In the realm rework, the regular enemies are all shotgun machines. So anything that doesn't have a bit of range is asking to get shotgunned. Some of them I wouldn't see how you'd be able to get close with like a T11 sword.
Rogue is my favorite class, I would have been happy with just adding a few atk and dex to the max stat cap. Lets give it a go and hope they listen to our feedback. Also, this might be a damage boost in groups but it's gonna tank solo damage.
Monocle is probably gonna either be reworked to give defensive stats when sneaking, or gain a bonus with lethal strike. Turncoat is gonna probably reworked too because with the rework to invisible, I could confidently say Turncoat will be made useless if nothing is changed.

Invis for solo is imo the most broken abilty, and i do mean broken, with it affecting different enemies in a bunch of different buggy ways along with not giving any real benefit in a group without some select ut's. I'm so torn on sorcerer's nerfs. It's so hard to balance him in comparison to Summoner and Wizard. I feel like he finally had his chance to shine when he's always felt like a slightly worse version of those two classes (especially Summoner. That class literally felt like Sorc 2.0 on release). Hopefully they level the playing field with those three, and don't just nerf sorc into the ground alongside buffing summoner so they effectively switch places.

I really hope they rework monocle to still be really good for rogue being a solo player and not practicing o3 at all in PBE it was really hard for me to craft one. I mean the class has 50 attack if they don't change monocle I think it will be a pretty useless item but if they give rogue like 75 atk or lethal is insane ig it's still a net gain

There’s no way lost halls was even close to hm shatters. You could always leach lost halls, you can never leach hm shatters. Even the boss fights in shatters fosters more group participation with how the phases are set up. That is definitely a hot old head take.
I think people hate change in this game, because it doesn’t come often enough. When it does it’s a pretty big change, unlike other games where they do minor buffs/nerfs often.

Don't forget sorc was considered one of the worst classes (only viable for fame training) until they buffed it excessively. Rogue may get the same treatment.
They changed it so that you get the blade form when exiting invisibility + you also get lethal. Planewalker is also having its cooldown removed but the invisibility now only lasts 3 seconds and I think it also gets +15 speed stat on equip.
As someone who has played rotmg since 2012 i will say this: the game is way too difficult to play casually. I enjoy tinkering with builds. However whats the point of creating unique builds if im going to be scared of losing them in the 1st week of obtaining all the items. They keep making obtaining the items harder and harder... so what you're left with is a character who is too valuable to die with. either make the items more obtainable or rework the permadeath mechanic. Its a shame in a game with so much variety that you cant make proper builds. Kinda starting to understand cheaters tbh. Im fine with dying, i dont mind an honorable death. However i want to use the character for at least a month... farming a month and more for the item build just to die within days just iust isnt worth it.
Rogue sounds pretty lame.. if you attack you get some kind of buff breaking invisibility. So, even with the extra damage if you are constantly attacking, it sounds like you would just suck more than any other class. Wait my rogue does like 70K damage to dumby.
Not a big fan of the Rogue change. I liked how it played so differently to other classes. But I can also understand it's probably a pain to balance content around a class being permanently invisible. Also does this change only apply to Rogues invisibility? What about ghost rum or turncoat for example?
Bro of course they rework rouge when I quit the game lol, been playing since 01 was in the realm so like I’m a day 1 player and my favourite class and my only exalted class is rouge I love that class so much it ain’t even funny but this is gunna destroy the class, rouge was never bout dps and should never be about dps, it’s a solo class and rushing class (an easy rushing class) but you know the class was never about dps, that’s why they added bloody so it changed you from a low dps but fast to a slow high dps, u could have the crystal cloak that dropped dps decoys, this has will end the rouge class as a solo player class, the whole point of going invisible and staying invisible is make it easy yo hit your low dps shots, it’s a dagger class that has a passive ability no buff is gunna make it a good dps class leave it as it is, this is why I quit the game, they don’t add new stuff and when they do its the same stuff and gets boring very fast and when they make changes they make some horrible changes to the game wow😤the only class I really enjoyed in the game and they took it away nice what devs 😂

You cant have an exciting experience qithout either high damage or being good at dodging. Theres no such thing as a fun invisibility mechanic
