I believe they have just sold the comics to please the activists and won't do any justice to story now.
Just one line at the start when Korg was narrating Thor's past would've made the movie better. Imagine if he said something like those who have pain inside their heart tend to show them as funny from outside. And we needed a scene where we could actually see Thor breakdown again. The movie just lacked this emotional part. We don't want Korg to die but his death would've given us this missing emotional part. And they could've changed the whole movies setting from here.

I don't have problems with humour. Like after Tony died, Tom's Spiderman lost aunt may, I see only Thor being the guy to bring some humor. This is Marvel not DC the problem was the length of the movie.

You gave your honest opinion. That's it, that's what matters. It was short, sometimes slow and sometimes extra fast, unnecessarily comedic and builds up very little about gorr. The first scene was fantastic. Necrsosword being a physical sword is the worst decision taken by Marvel. I loved gorr. I didn't want him to die. They could have made him a part of MCU rather than a Villain who adds importance of love and a girl in Thor's life. Urgghh.. I am DISAPPOINTED

LMAO I feel only Shang Chi is a good movie with decent rewatch times, even NWH is a one time watch. Rest other movies were not up to the mark and the overhype killed those movies.

The last time i remember the stakes were high was in infinity war . After the time travel in endgame the mcu is on decline and after that they only deliverd loki series jawdropping
I was very excited to watch Multiverse of Madness but felt sad after watching it with so many expectations and now after that I am not even excited about any other MCU movie or series not even Love and Thunder...The next thing I really want to watch is Loki season 2 or maybe Quantamania...thats it...I really hope MCU makes movies that you are really really excited to watch(like No way home,Loki)! Guys whosoever is reading this I would say just go watch the movie by yourself and then review it yourself, I respect his review and not criticising it at all it’s his point of view. For me this was the best comedy movie of marvel I had the best 2 or some hours of my theatre visit. The bad part is it was short and they should have showed Gorr more like the origin otherwise the best comedy movie from marvel❤️
I don't want marvel to make movies like this again and I think these feels like in too much of a rush(mostly climax as you remember MoM). I respect that so many people work hard on this but I don't feel worth watching in a cinema and I don't want to support these rushed and forced movies. Or marvel ko yeh time se kya problem agar 30 minute extra maang rahi hai film ka screenplay ,toh doo usse time. I heard that 'when you expect dissapointment you get satisfaction' ,I started doing this after MOM but it didnt work for this movie. I really want to love this movie but there was nothing good but Comedy. Its genre should be Comedy. The main problem is the direction, I once said Taika Watiti saved Thor but now its opposite. That time Thor's character needed the comedy part but now it needs it serious part as Gorr the God Buthur is the villan. I better not talk about the villan, I at least expected Gorr will be one of the Greatest villan but yeah Christian Bale's performance was just Amazing. The story has not done any justice to the villan literally there was no depth in his origin. I mean after this I can say Doctor Strange MOM was far much better than this movie at least they had a great Direction of Sam Raimi, seriousness and intense moments, the movie was entertaining but Thor Love and thunder didnt have that entertaining feel just comedy comedy and comedy. And many jokes in Thor Love thundur were forged. The thing which is needed was some intense moments, seriousness , more Length and good STORYtelling . It didnt have the balance of action and comedy. The movie has 80% comedy so what can you expect from this movie- 6 or 5/10.
My expectations for this movie were very high, but it disappointed me. 😕

I think the only problem with the movie was it's length....it's only a 2 hour movie..which doesn't allow us to connect to the characters and scenes properly... everything feels fast than it should be

I REALLY THINK DC MOVIES GRAB MORE ATTENTION THAN MARVEL BECAUSE OF THEIR DARK AND SERIOUS TONE LIKE BATMAN and that's what we really want from a superhero protagonist. I think Black Adam will change the course of all of this.

@@radhe3920 Thor is a lot more serious character serious and mature character in comics, but screenplay of his character is pretty bad, no doubt why his comics rarely sells. In comics he's a boring character not like in MCU before Ragnarok, but he don't feel like a much intriguing character.

Movie bhut achi h, comedy to h he jo ki expected thi sath m emotional b h jo muje expected ni tha, this movie made me cry at the end which other MCU movies failed to do except for endgame. Villain was strong he had a motive which was derived from strong and heartfelt backstory. Overall better than MoM.

From the beginning, Gorr was having same vibes as other Marvel villains like Thanos or Zemo generally had, but at the last 10 minutes, Christian Bale proved why Gorr is different than other, after disappointment of Multiverse of Madness, my expectations for this movie was not too high but the movie is really entertaining, not much with cameos and easter eggs but roller coster journey with Thor, Mighty Thor (Dr.Jane Foster), Valkyrie and Korg, ending is very beautiful
The only bad point is it's length, movie is fast paced and looked like Marvel was in a hurry to compete the movie in 1 hrs 52 minutes

I think we need to pause for a while and rethink our perspective of the marvel movies, I mean yeah they can be a bit down the hill but i personally liked the story and the whole plot, the over comedy thing you mentioned isn't true, movie has its emotions wherever needed, and thor has always been like this, may be it's his way of dealing with loss.

100% agreed the thing that made Ragnarok fabulous, became the curse for Love and thunder because they overplayed it. Also you didn't point out but runtime was also way too low 1:59 minutes (including credits) if they continue to make movie smaller they will end up with these sort of empty feeling movies. Maybe if it had longer runtime they would have explored the serious aspect more but in less time everything felt rushed.
Serious toned Thor movies tanked at the box office, Ragnarok was widely recieved so Marvel didn't tinker with that formula.
There was a time when we saw Thor crying on the corpse of his brother, intaking the power of a whole star and fighting the energy of all 6 infinity stones together to stab Thanos in his chest. That one moment was more satisfying than anyone could think of. Infinity war was my 1st proper MCU watch and I fell in love with this only because of Thor's journey in one movie.
And here we are, 4 years later. Witnessing a parody on the name of Thor. I wanted to, but can't go see this movie, being a complete embaressment of th God of Thunder I saw😔. Enough of Reviews I have seen and have completely demotivated me from putting my money on this

Marvel writers are having a bad time writing these movies. First they have to remember what was already done to avoid any congruency issues with the previous storyline, then they have to avoid writing what other writers are writing in the other movies/series that are still in production, then they have to avoid writing what the studio might make a movie about in the coming years. Apart from that they have to leave all the Sony characters which were part of their storyline earlier. Also, the studio wants the writers to give some 5-10 minutes to introduce new characters to set up their future franchise. They also have to make sure that the story remains different from the comic book written to make sure the comic book fans also watch their movies 🍿🎥.
And even if they manage to write a decent storyline the studio asks them to chop almost 1 hour of the movie to increase the total number of screenings per day. NO DOUBT their movies are shit now.

These are my ideas.
a) By adding more comics scenes .
b) By giving particular time to the story of main characters
c) If Multiverse is included then explain the alternate universe .
d) Increase the length of movies from ( 2hr 30 min. to 3hr)
e) Use more realistic VFX.
f) Actors should not be hidden in Character VFX.
g) Expand the boundaries of PG -13 .
h) Before the release of a movie there should be one teaser,one trailer and one tv spot ( without major spoilers ) .
I like Sam Riami's Work in Multiverse of Madness but i think he could add more fight scenes vs Illuminaties and Our Dr. Strange vs Sinister Strange and i did not like musical fight , the fight could be more serious and cruel.
I like Tiaka Waititi's work but I think the Thor Character should get more plot in the movie .

2. Donot just expect everything to happen be a little logical.
3. Understand every scene of the movie first, dont just talk what everybody is already talking about.
4. Give us the correct character arc. Dont just throw any theory with random comic connection.
5. Talk about the flaws of the movie with points not flaws with feelings..

I loved Thor movies only and only for the agressiveness of Thor at the end, we all know he tries to be cute and happy in every disheartened situation, whether it is meeting her mother after her death, meeting guardians after anhilation of asguard or meeting hulk after losing each and everything in his hut... we all know it happens but the thing for which we keep waiting is that rush, wo gussa aur seriousness jo uske rago me bijli bhar deti.. which makes us feel ki haaa! Yeh thor ki movie hai yahi toh dekhne aye hai... that action sequence when our hero turns a baby to demon.. that is what we love!!!!❤ but after watching and getting high of action sequence in ragnarok and with desperate waiting to watch him normalize his condition after endgame, we all had expected his struggles how to become a god, how to regain muscles, how he turns the guardian and discover the mjonir.. the funny thor doesnt deserves to be in this movie.. we all wanted a sequence where a superhero is shown in his downs of his life.. yeah, just like spiderman💔

Personally I liked the movie, it is quite entertaining. 1st half is OK but still has some good scenes like the 1st time Thor and Gorr encounter, and really liked Jane's origin as Mighty Thor, it unexpectedly touched my heart. But yes comedy could have been a little less. Movie became better when they left Olympus and Thor had his Op moment with the thunderbolt. Hoped the movie had a longer 2nd half because that is when it is at it's best. Jane as Mighty Thor was amazing and Gorr as the God Butcher. And I actually liked the climax fight scene, it was quite unexpected. But I agree,they didn't do full justice to Gorr, we needed more of him. Left us wanting more at the end . 7/10

In my opinion the movie was entertaining, It just pains my heart to see what was the potential of story that they had in their hands and they delivered very little from it. The movie would have been completely different if there were less jokes , more screentime for the villain and a little more action.

Marvel needs to improve in 2 aspects.the first is marketing of their movies,they reveal too much from their movie that the audience feels like they already know the story while watching the movie.for eg I already knew that strange would dreamwalk in zombie strange from that TV spot where we saw some souls coming out of his body
The second point is that they need to start taking more risks and focus more on the events that would actually be important for the story.like how is Ms Marvel even affecting the MCU and what is special about it.
They had a lot of potential which they wasted in thor love and thunder.they have already made some long movies before,why can't they do the same again.after loki,they were able to bring 3 Thors and were able to take a darker path and not actually wasting gorr's potential.i hope they learn from the mistakes they committed in the last 2 movies and some series.

I loved the movie as it was, cz its again a typical "Thor" movie! I mean, its a mixture of action, comedy, drama, emotions, and thts wht me as a thor fan expected frm the movie. The movie didn't disappoint at all, wht i feel is don't compare it with comics or other projects, jus watch it as we did ragnarok, and u'll find it amazing!
