Hello, I just found your channel and I appreciate the content. You mentioned in this video a link for pricing products correctly, but I didn't see it anywhere... Would you mind sharing the link? Thank you so much!

Hi Megan! So nice to "meet" you! I may have forgotten to put the link but if you search my channel for pricing products the video should come right up. It's one of my older ones!

Hi! It is a pleasure to watch your videos. I started my business seven years ago, and Susan’s website is my Cosmetic Bible. These days I make an oversized master bath of my body balm/ cream/ butter/ lotion. I cool it, add cold phase and preserve it at 35C. Then I leave it overnight to completely cool. The next day I divide my base and measure amounts per scent. I add fragrance to the cold base and mix it with my mixer. I can make 300 8 oz jars total 10 scents in just 2 hours. I use large pots for both phases. I do not like double boilers. I melt everything on low. I love this method. Body lotions are great as the product is not expensive to make. Water is my cheapest ingredient and my recipe is 70% Aqua. I sell my 8 oz jars for $20. I use heating plates in my studio, 2 electric plates.

This is so helpful! I did buy 2 very large stock pots a while back to do this method but it scared me a little so you've given me the confidence to try it. I also hate double boilers for so many things so I'm trying to get away from that. I also have a lotion I formulated thanks to Susan (she's the best!) so maybe I'll start with that. thanks!!

If you don't mind me asking either one of you veterans lol on batch sizes that big are you using a commercial mixer such as a Hobart or a waring? Also for the above comment...do you store your product bases for say future uses a week or so in advance and if so what type of container are you storing the bases in? Glass, stainless steel or ? Are you keeping it refrigerated while your waiting for time to pass until you do use it? Sorry if my questions seem all over the place..just something I was curious about ..tyia!

Thanks for sharing your price points. I am using smaller containers but the price with be proportional to yours. Good to know I am not so off.❤

What is the dispenser that you use for your whipped soaps!? I do whipped soapy Sugar Scrubs and I'm wondering if that would work better then scooping into the jars. I fell upon your channel and I'm super excited to see your future videos!
