The one I went to (often) in Bloomingdale IL sat vacant for years and the just tore the building down! What I'd do to travel back to those days! Heck, I thought the pizza was awesome! My favorite song by the band was Birthday (I'm a huge Beatles fan).

If you would mind me asking what was the reason for the sudden move to this new Museum? Now this is fully your own choice I am just a bit nostalgic and wanted to know what will happen or what happend to the Historical factory? That TRIARC thing is genius. I've been wishing there was a way to get a tiny piece of the Rockafire (I have no use for serious components since I'm not in any way interested in actually building animatronics) for my office, I don't have a lot of room so it has to be very small. A little doodad that comes from the original stock intended for the shows with a signed postcard for what lunch costs is perfect. I'm one of those people that would love Aaron Fechter's autograph but I understand you can't possibly sign everything every time someone asks you for it, so selling a little momento of the show with an autographed picture is the perfect solution.

I saw the Volvo show online and their sun and moon could not dance because parts are not being made anymore. It was great to see original Rock a fire shows in good condition on video though.
With the museum on the horizon I did wanna ask if the Wizard of Oz show will get any attention in it? If they’re salvageable at this point of course :’) I’d love to see them running again but i’d especially love to hear any related tapes from the show in decent quality.
The stuff all looks cool, also have you tried airing up the hard luck bears you currently have? id love to see them in action as there has never been footage of that version moving

I think the biggest difference was Walt Disney always had his brother financing all his animatronics because they sold ticket sales at their parks. This was more of a mom and pop operation that never got to grow like it should have. I have enjoyed discovering the true history of chuck e cheese and how showbiz was superior.
Perhaps it may be a good idea for you to get in touch with gemmy who make animatronics only mini ones like tabletops halloween and xmas stuff but they probably have a motor supplier you could use on mini billy bob if you need to

LOL. When you figure it out, let me know! I guess it's just because, at the end of the day, I'm just a guy with some stuff to sell. I found it interesting that the cotton candy machine went to someone who was curious about the RAE but not a real die hard fan. I was closely in touch with him because we had to work out some shipping details. We became friends by the time the machine was shipped. The same thing happened with the submarine I bought for my children but never got around to playing with before they grew up. That was one I particularly spent an inordinate amount of time packing to make sure the box couldn't be damaged in shipment.. I spent all my money on packing and shipping. But, it's not always about making money. It's really kind of about putting my treasures in other people's hands who may care about them.
Hi Aaron, I have a question. What happened to the prototype rockafire explosion animatronics? Were they thrown away? Placed in a restaurant and being shut down or something else?
I know you more than likely don't take any requests for showtapes, but I think it would be interesting if you'd ever end up recording new showtapes again for the RAE, if you would do one dedicated to the 80s. I personally think it would be interesting, as that was the decade where they ruled the Pizza entertainment scene, and the nostalgia for the decade is still going fairly strong.

Aaron, do you reckon you would want to make a 3rd version of the rockafire (Originals being the 1st and New being the 2nd) with the latest technology? I think characters that could walk around a room to greet users or using the latest AI to learn/perform songs would be a great idea

I think it would be a crazy idea to have new show tapes with new voice actors and the scripts will be made with minds and not ChatGPT.
