Played Battlefront 2 ever since it launched so I can say truthfully, it was difficult to get used to fallen orders lightsaber combat thankfully though it was more forgiving, yet it also punishes whenever spamming becomes a strategy-but now that I’ve completed it...it is time for a return to the battlefront, dueling can be fun in BF2 but sometimes takes a long time when facing a competent Duelist, and those 5 minute HS matches feel like they go on for hours especially when you hit a stalemate.
Nerby V2 a lot of the Saber combos each hero has feel very Janky and not smooth. Even LEGO Star Wars the complete saga had Smoother hits to the lightsabers 😂
I think Kylo's block breaker has been removed on his last frenzy strike w/ the lightsaber combat patch. Experienced his block breaker not working first hand
Yeah thats why hes kinda bad imo, just r2 and l2 when he uses it the other skills is just block like other heroes so hes nothing special anymore Edit : general and vader are super overpowered tho like get them as an enemy ur dead 💀 u gotta hope that the player is bad.
TD MY MAN I for one actually enjoy BF2 saber mechanics, but only because I know the ins and outs of it all. Plus it also helps when bugs don't intervene

I was playing hero showdown once on kashyyyk, I was obi wan and my opponent was Vader. Vader fell off after a few of my strikes and then me being the dumb person I am thinking I already won I jumped off too. As I’m falling down I see Vader... Above me, he was slow falling. The score was 2:2. I died first. They won the game.
I am pretty new to battle front 2, been play for a couple weeks. My main as well as my favorite character from star wars is Dooku, I have him at level 35 I think. Any tips to get better with him?
I love watching these duels, I hope to be as good as players like you. I'm not bad by any means, but I still get absolutely wrecked by players with a level 200+ on a particular character. My highest is with Rey who is a 65 right now.

Then I'd kill one of them and the other would run away and keep trying to push me off a ledge. I eventually just left after nearly killing both of them at the same time as Anakin (they were Vader and Maul). I refuse to play with honorless trashcans
Mongo The Magnificent I do have to point out that around 6:30 he and anakin did team up on Vader, not saying it’s right because I do enjoy a respectable 1v1 while the teammate hangs back, but I do think this has to be discussed
Kowonski TH-cam made me put in a last name it would be great if Dice implemented a legit, online duel mode. That’s something that’ll never happen though, unfortunately.
honestly, id say battlefront 2 dueling is more souls like than fallen order dueling is. For sure, timing makes all the difference. Dashes are effective as rolls in Souls, as you can avoid almost any strike with them. Blocking and countering is pretty damn fucking good.
Yeah I went back to this game after beating fallen order on Jedi Master, now I get why my friends don’t like dueling in Bf2. It’s so poorly designed and clunky. Even with all the reworks. Funny how I didn’t notice it until there was a better dueling in a different Star Wars game. That Star Wars nostalgia made me blind.

You lost because of intensify that card is too much he was taking so much health with one hit after he gain his damage boost. And that vader man why do people still think back dodging doesn't work all your doing is delaying the fight esspecially if you have no answer

Level doesn’t determine skill. I’ve played against a 400+ player and they were average at best.
Most are bad and the strongest i encounter are spamming attack with McDonald’s WiFi connection.

John Wick If it was tweaked to where it no longer rewards spamming it would be better. Just a short delay between attack inputs is all it would need.

Attack right as soon as their attack hits your block :)
Whenever I duel like this my stamina drains much faster than yours and takes much longer to replenish.... Do you run any stamina cards?

my darth vader gets stuck in the choke animation every time for like 3 extra seconds, am i the only one this happens to? lol
anthonymunoz don’t spam the choke, just hit the button once. If you spam it it will cancel itself out and you’ll get stuck.
It’s a bug, you used to be able to Get out of the choke animation without him doing it for 3 seconds, it’s hopefully a fix soon
