It was pretty obvious that he was facing a noob......anyone else would have caught up to Lando if he didn't have his stun out and dominated him.

as a lightsaber hero, it's so easy to counter lando's stun, i think his stun is less versatile and more situational against saber heroes compared to han's detonate charge. everytime lando sets his stun charge on the ground, (as a saber hero) all you have to do is jump in the air just before lando's stun goes off. same method works for chewbacca's stun as well as iden, but it is trickery to counter iden's stun because it stuns faster.
matt M she is already good without it, she deals a lot of damage with the middle ability active and she jumps a huge gap when attacking, she is a R2/RT/Mouse 1 spamming machine.

Man... You are killing it with these how to videos! Great work! I regularly see new players in the forum that could benefit from this stuff. Do you have one for GA yet? I feel like that is the one I see the most comments saying "help me, I suck". Only problem with any tutorial in the GA mode is that there are soooo many variables to consider such as: map design, type of objective, attacking vs defending, which heroes are in play, how many heroes are out there, encounters with the different classes, remembering you are always on the mini-map, dealing with vehicles, not to mention that each heroes skill set lends to a different approach. I can see why inexperienced players get a little overwhelmed with it all and either rush to their death or hold back too much. I wish there was a way to bridge the skill gap a little.
I use to play with Han very good and avoided good the attacks, now i tried to do it again but when I'm Rolling somehow the villain hit me and get stuck with him and lightsaber and can't do nothing. What I'm doing wrong?
With the rolling now I've started dashing with em and lining myself up for an attack to stay with the blaster hero and it actually been working really well
What I do sometimes especially at distance is just block and try to aim the reflected shots back at them. When I'm low on stamina I then just get behind cover. It's great at chipping away their health as you're decreasing the distance.

Does rolling as a ranged character reduce/negate the damage you take from blaster bolts? In other words, what does the shield icon indicate when receiving enemy fire?
Sometimes when I’m going again Kylo or someone as Han, I will roll into him and then roll back hopefully to make him turn around for no reason and give me a could more shots. Is this a wise strategy or not worth the risk?
As a lightsAber user jump down onto your target from high if possible , disorients them for a moment and gives u a chance , if they see u jump down ignite your lightaver mid-fall (for a little intimidation tactics)

Bballer 23 really!? Most grievous’ spam swing because of his high damage output. I find Vader would be more trouble because of his choke, saber throw, and focused rage which are all very effective against any hero
@@fighterisaiah3794 a good Grievous player is harder to fight against than a good Vader player. Grievous has a higher damage output and he has 2 abilities that knock you down leaving you vulnerable for him to wreak you

I have a few good tips for lightsaber fights. They count for everyone, but especially Yoda. 🦆 First you walk toward your opponent and press the trigger five times. If he doges, then press the trigger six times to close the distance with the steps you make with each swing. The spam 3 times again and when they block spam only eight times. That should win you almost all fights against anyone as a lightsaber hero. I hope I could help some of you.
If you have a stun like Iden then use it and just spam your blaster shots to deal damage then use your abilities or since iden’s abilities are pretty trash use your secondary fire
I play han in hvsv, and I bait people into running at me and I throw my detonite charge at their feet and detonate it, then shoot at them with quick shot

most gun players use their shock or explosive immediately so jump the shock or bait out the grenade and then you can just block any time you need in a fight no worries
When I play as a saber user, I tend to mix a jump slash into my attacks. I try not to spam my saber. But let’s say I get up to Chewie, I might slash him and then jump slash. I feel like jump slashing helps against rolling. And even if they avoid, I’m a harder target because I jumped. And when I jump slash I go forward. It helps to avoid their fire and to get behind them. I feel like I’m explaining this badly because it’s become instinctual for me. But test it out and see how it works for you.

Do you have a tip for how to deal with deflected blaster fire? When I’m shooting a blocking saber user trying to whittle down their stamina, I tend to take a lot of deflected damage and it causes me to stop shooting. I’ll move around as I shoot and it doesn’t seem to help.
Chad Honeycutt Ah yeah good point. Gotta identify the accurate deflectors, sometimes it’s better to hold your fire against characters like Dooku and Vader because they are very accurate deflectors. Grievous and Kylo crack under pressure though because their deflections are more random. The best way to beat Vader and Dooku is to bait out some attacks so they use stamina that way.
Honestly that clip of u taking on both those guys with lando was cool I guess. Even so those guys were buns but people really hate the stuns for no reason especially when u can counter them pretty simply.

Jai Joyner There is no countering it, at best all you can do is run away and try to not get stunned, which is ridiculous. The stuns should be a small hiccup in movement, not a free kill.

Silly Wabbot There’s the sound when it’s thrown, but a good Lando player can time when you jump and will set it off when you land. The jump can save you sometimes though, but that’s only if you’re a saber user. It’s still mad overpowered, all stuns need a nerf.
The D Knax What I try to do for Bossk and Phasma who usually hide near traps (his grenades and her droid) is to push them away with a force user and then go after them or just shoot them with a blaster hero. For Fett, the best advice would be to just chase him down, better with teammates so you can cut him off and anticipate when his jet pack will run out, as well as when he can use rockets so you know when to get cover. Blaster heros can shoot him too of course. Hope this helps
When using Vader I’d recommend using the choke and just hit them twice with your lightsaber. Once they roll away just throw your lightsaber and they should be dead
In my opinion, blasters don't have every advantage most of the time. Lower health regen, no block, lower health. You could say they have an advantage in attacking from a distance which is partly true, but sabers are way better at closing distance than blasters are at gaining it. Blasters have a slower sprint speed and a roll that slows them down and covers less distance whereas sabers have a better dash/roll that sends them further and faster, have a faster sprint speed and can do a hop jump attack to go even faster. Two blaster users have charge abilities to help with escape but it leaves them pretty exposed to CC abilities and/or damage Alternatively, many saber users have CC abilities to prevent escape and/or deal heavy damage or just close the distance immediately. (Pull and pull dominance) In close quarters, for a blaster user to win, there has to be some difference in skill. If the saber user is on the same level or better than the blaster THEY WILL WIN. Just wait for the roll. It's as easy that.
Decent tips for newbies......but not really all the tips that people need to make yourself a TRUE MASTER OF THE FORCE! P.S. The Lando video doesn't really show much about the stun, as you were facing a noob. Anyone else would have dominated you since you didn't have your stun out.
all of the blaster heroes are easy to counter. however, han is a different story. han is a tough challenge because he does lots of damage. both his shoulder bash and detonate charge are practically unavoidable in a 1v1. blaster villains are so much stronger in 1v1s. iden, bossk, phasma, and even, boba can be pretty good. How would you go about 1v1 phasma with her droid camping in a corner as a saber hero? it's impossible for you to do anything. if the phasma player is smart, the match will end in a boring stalemate.
perry platypus Deflect her shots back onto her, or try to get behind, taking as little damage as possible and push the player away from the droid. It can be really difficult and annoying sometimes though, and it may not work... that’s all I got
True but, you can just block here attacks so here e-11 would be rendered useless unless she tries to come up from behind. Like Star Bizzare said you have to have patience, it is the only way you can defeat blaster heroes.
William Arce Oh trust me I know. When I'm Vader and I see leia, the first thing I do is use focused rage, let her whip out that e-11, and black a hail storm of bullets back at her face. Most of the time they kill their self because they didn't even know what just happened, or they're just plain dumb. Or they'll be at really low health cause they didn't expect it, and you just poke them to death. It's hilarious when it happens too. But when your someone like maul, well then chances are your screwed unless you run away or run through her with spin attack over and over again until it runs out.
William Arce and that's exactly what I do. But it's what happens when you can't spin, and you end up right next to her, cause unless she has no health, you're not gonna kill her as maul without taking a lot of damage, or knowing that already used her E-11

Lando has a stun, if you press r1 after you have thrown the sensor it explodes causing electricity to stun.

Do you have a tip for how to deal with deflected blaster fire? When I’m shooting a blocking saber user trying to whittle down their stamina, I tend to take a lot of deflected damage and it causes me to stop shooting. I’ll move around as I shoot and it doesn’t seem to help.
Chad Honeycutt Ah yeah good point. Gotta identify the accurate deflectors, sometimes it’s better to hold your fire against characters like Dooku and Vader because they are very accurate deflectors. Grievous and Kylo crack under pressure though because their deflections are more random. The best way to beat Vader and Dooku is to bait out some attacks so they use stamina that way.

Honestly that clip of u taking on both those guys with lando was cool I guess. Even so those guys were buns but people really hate the stuns for no reason especially when u can counter them pretty simply.
Jai Joyner People hate the stun because it’s broken and cheap 😂 I would have destroyed both Kylo and Dooku in seconds if I used the stun.

Jai Joyner There is no countering it, at best all you can do is run away and try to not get stunned, which is ridiculous. The stuns should be a small hiccup in movement, not a free kill.
@@TheStarBazaar all you gotta do is jump to avoid Lando's stun. It's not hard especially since there's a sound that plays that let's you know it's going off
Silly Wabbot There’s the sound when it’s thrown, but a good Lando player can time when you jump and will set it off when you land. The jump can save you sometimes though, but that’s only if you’re a saber user. It’s still mad overpowered, all stuns need a nerf.
See the thing about this guide is it all depends on how good the saber hero is.

The D Knax What I try to do for Bossk and Phasma who usually hide near traps (his grenades and her droid) is to push them away with a force user and then go after them or just shoot them with a blaster hero. For Fett, the best advice would be to just chase him down, better with teammates so you can cut him off and anticipate when his jet pack will run out, as well as when he can use rockets so you know when to get cover. Blaster heros can shoot him too of course. Hope this helps

When using Vader I’d recommend using the choke and just hit them twice with your lightsaber. Once they roll away just throw your lightsaber and they should be dead
In my opinion, blasters don't have every advantage most of the time.
Lower health regen, no block, lower health.
You could say they have an advantage in attacking from a distance which is partly true, but sabers are way better at closing distance than blasters are at gaining it. Blasters have a slower sprint speed and a roll that slows them down and covers less distance whereas sabers have a better dash/roll that sends them further and faster, have a faster sprint speed and can do a hop jump attack to go even faster.
Two blaster users have charge abilities to help with escape but it leaves them pretty exposed to CC abilities and/or damage
Alternatively, many saber users have CC abilities to prevent escape and/or deal heavy damage or just close the distance immediately. (Pull and pull dominance)
In close quarters, for a blaster user to win, there has to be some difference in skill. If the saber user is on the same level or better than the blaster THEY WILL WIN.
Just wait for the roll. It's as easy that.
Decent tips for newbies......but not really all the tips that people need to make yourself a TRUE MASTER OF THE FORCE!
P.S. The Lando video doesn't really show much about the stun, as you were facing a noob. Anyone else would have dominated you since you didn't have your stun out.
all of the blaster heroes are easy to counter. however, han is a different story. han is a tough challenge because he does lots of damage. both his shoulder bash and detonate charge are practically unavoidable in a 1v1. blaster villains are so much stronger in 1v1s. iden, bossk, phasma, and even, boba can be pretty good. How would you go about 1v1 phasma with her droid camping in a corner as a saber hero? it's impossible for you to do anything. if the phasma player is smart, the match will end in a boring stalemate.
perry platypus Deflect her shots back onto her, or try to get behind, taking as little damage as possible and push the player away from the droid. It can be really difficult and annoying sometimes though, and it may not work... that’s all I got

Leias e-11 is literally stupid. Blaster vs lightsaber: this blaster is affective at killing saber heroes at close range.

True but, you can just block here attacks so here e-11 would be rendered useless unless she tries to come up from behind. Like Star Bizzare said you have to have patience, it is the only way you can defeat blaster heroes.

Oh trust me I know. When I'm Vader and I see leia, the first thing I do is use focused rage, let her whip out that e-11, and black a hail storm of bullets back at her face. Most of the time they kill their self because they didn't even know what just happened, or they're just plain dumb. Or they'll be at really low health cause they didn't expect it, and you just poke them to death. It's hilarious when it happens too. But when your someone like maul, well then chances are your screwed unless you run away or run through her with spin attack over and over again until it runs out.
@@StrangerE0ns For Maul, just use his speed. Like you said, do the spin attack, confuse them.
Thrust me, it is very effective and I mean VERY when you point it at the opponent's head while he is attacking you really really close. 😏😎
William Arce and that's exactly what I do. But it's what happens when you can't spin, and you end up right next to her, cause unless she has no health, you're not gonna kill her as maul without taking a lot of damage, or knowing that already used her E-11
