Dari, thank you for another great overview video! Batumi is certainly unique with its eclectic mixture of architectural styles and historical timeframes. The dogs follow you around because they can sense you are a good person, which we all know is true. 😊 Have a safe and hopefully decent time in your current location. Be well and be happy! Until next time, take care and pleasant travels.
Cool video Daria. I’m a big fan of Batumi. It was fun visiting some familiar places through your video😊 no matter what time of the year it’s very enjoyable
Awesome video Dasha, I always think about how life can change in moment and thing's become unclear and uncertain. But looking through a hazard window you can make something out of nothing. Keep your head held high and move forward to the next adventure. Today this moment is for you. Love and peace ❤✌😊
I truly love your videos. Your one of those people I will always unselfishly love for providing all of these awesome experiences. I honestly can't imagine how much work you had to have put into these to make the shared experience so vivid. Just thank you! Your a credit to Russia and also more importantly humanity by sharing your story
This video is a great documentary featuring a little bit of culture, architecture, historical buildings, and foods. Really appreciated the opinions of your guests. I know Las Vegas well and Batumi is getting there slowly. Right now it is more like Atlantic City.
This is good to see. I would love to visit Batumi. I like going places off season so it isnt so crowed. And i love the dogs, they seem well cared for but i wish they were not on the streets and have forever homes and lots of love. Spasibo. Paka.
Batumi looks like such an interesting place, Dari. I agree with you about it being most similar to Sochi. And, those balconies that you mentioned look similar to New Orleans, also look similar to the balconies in Ybor City, a historic neighborhood in Tampa, Florida. I thought about Ybor City because it is also famous for having roosters 🐓 roaming the streets 🙂
I like the combination of modern and traditional architecture and the botanical gardens very nice it looks like same climate as sandiego with palm trees eucalyptus from Australia thanks for sharing nice adventure
That was a lovely video, thanks for showing us around. Great contrast in building styles, amazing cable car views and the gardens were super pretty. Glad you had a great trip with the girls. Bet its packed in the summer. Stay safe Allan.
Batumi has amazing new and old architecture, very beautiful. With palm trees and flowers blooming it must not get very cold there. Even Las Vegas actually had snow last week. Thank you for the tour. But please don't wish it to become Las Vegas. It should keep it's charm of old and new. I suppose the nudist beach area there wasn't active in the winter... that would be a wonderful tour sometime.
Thank you for showing such a nice place. I live close to Vegas. The buildings you showed with the outside lighting, look like the Wynn and Encore hotels in Vegas. Take care. 😊
Hi Dari. You certainly get around a lot. Good for you. Batumi looks very nice. I like how you give your opinion of the places you visit and foods you try and then get Natasha and Alena to give their opinions. Loved the botanical gardens and the view from the cable car ride. Best wishes to you.
Really enjoyed the video Dari! I especially liked the older section of the city and the gardens the best. Not really a big fan of big modern buildings. Thanks for sharing and stay safe and well.
This is a great introduction to Batumi. The good things about going there in February are cheap prices and no crowds. I checked for flights, and it will cost three times more in July to go there from Europe.
I love the way you pronounce "roosters". Where I live we say roo like the word "clue" or "blue". It almost sounded like you had a diphthong meaning two different sounds when you pronounced the "roo" part of roosters. I love hearing different speech.
I am really enjoying your videos and watching where you are going Dasha..... It is great that you are all staying together, having fun and looking after each other..... I really want to try that Bread and Cheese.... It looks very tasty....... :-)) xxxx
Hi Dari 👋😁 Wonderful video. Hate roosters - But don't you like chicken? 😂😂 Batumi looks like a wonderful mix of both old and new - would be exciting to see what becomes of it in the future Sounds like a good city for you to stay in. Thank you
Batumi must be really a beautiful sea resort to visit especially in summer but also in winter and the contrast betwee the old and new buildings is wonderful. Thank you very much Dari for this great video. I wish you and the girls all the best and if you happen to come to Italy you are welcome.
I met Steven Covey 40 years ago shortly after he wrote that book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Even though you didn't like the book. I'm sure you will get a couple positive things from it.
Great video Dari! I can’t believe it only costs 13 dollars for a 5 hour train ride, that’s a great price. Batumi looks really nice, thank you for showing us around. Dogs always seem to follow you around lol. Cheers!!
Great stuff Dari! It's so funny that you hate chickens almost as much as you love dogs. And the dogs follow you because word has gotten around that you carry snacks for them. :)))
As a kid, I remember thinking The Black Sea must have got its name from being dirty. But, now Thanks to your pictures, it's a new Dream of mine to visit it ASAP!
You were spot on with your comparison of old town Batumi and New Orleans, especially the French Quarter. That sort of wrought iron is everywhere. New Orleans is my favorite city in the 'States, and I hope you get to visit it one day. I suspect you'd like Geneva (in Switzerland) as well. Magnificent architecture spanning literal centuries, French food and design, Swiss chocolate (of course!), and Lake Geneva with its stone marina. Expensive as heck, but I found it to be worth every penny for the five days I was there. 👍
Your videos are very appealing as there are quite a few countries you explore I have not been and you seem to have interests similar to my own. There is always good exploration and discussion of food, art, culture, nature, gardens, costs, accommodation, transport, sports. This makes it all interesting. Your Moscow accent is very pleasant to the ear and being youthful you explore lots. Great stuff. Really enjoyable. Batumi looks great for a visit when I get over there - love the art that seems to be prolific. Beautiful gardens and elevated scenery over the sea. Good interesting part of the world you are in - the Caucasus region is definitely on my travel list. Thanks :)
I hope you are safe and well in Russia I am thinking of you being there. Thank you for another brilliant video I adore your films Dari you are really cool and you too Natasha and Olowna apologies for terrible spelling sorry don’t get too depressed are very pretty and cool lots of love to all three of you!!! Love Davidxxx❤️❤️❤️
Via You Tube, this is my third compressed and media trip to Batumi. Once with Slava, once with "The Two Mad Explorers"(Luke & Naomi), and now with the three of you. It was definitely a Russian vacation town prior to Georgia's independence. The newest attraction is the Casinos or gambling which is forbidden in many Islamic countries and for many conservative Christians too. Good weather has always been a force to this location. It appears that speculation in real estate is happening and that over construction and price collapses may occur sometime in the future real estate market. ( don't invest too much of your money here as you may lose most of it) Love that double decker train where did the rail roads acquire it. ( what company did they buy it from) Hotel without kitchens and laundry facilities are running about $150 a night in Ohio. Your $50 a night sounds like a bargain. Lard on bread isn't very tasty. My grandparents ate it that way because they didn't want to pay for butter or margarine. It is excellent if used in baked goods in place of butter or oils but is not tasty when eaten by itself. ( canola oil, olive oil, or a product called Crisco in the USA) It makes excellent pie crusts, breads, etc. I believe that anything containing cheese is going to get a seal of approval from you Dari.
Super video. Batumi certainly looks like a great place to explore on foot. How many trains go to Tiblisi daily? Who feeds all the beautiful dogs in your video?
Hi Dari i assume you went to Georgia because it borders Turkey where you currently living , but how about Bucharest ( Romania ) it's also pretty close . Ill be your guide and ill show all the touristic attraction . If you're into touristic attractions you definitely heard about Transylvania where i can take you to visit Dracula Castle
How do you spell that orange juice and coffee drink? It sounds interesting. Also, do you do all of your own editing? I like where you are shown talking to the camera but then you switch the video to something else that you are talking about. It's very well done.
You definitely get around Georgia 😃 Since you guys clearly are not gamblers and casinos probably don't allow filming inside, I wonder how big the casino area will be. like is it downtown, by the waterfront, or spread around in the city. How have if affected people living there? Would you say/think Batumi offer tourists good attractions/activities (in summertime) day and night? Would a trip to Batumi be family friendly or mainly for "rich" people visiting casinos? 🤑 A quick trip with a quick rundown of nice places and areas to visit during a weekend trip. And more important a good review of places to eat 😋 Dogs follow you because they sense that you are friendly, harmless and loveable person... and smell/hope you have snacks 🥰 Wonderful to hear you got surprised by Batumi and Alinas Bumble, although banana latte sound very good too. Never tried any of them, so that would be on my watch list for things to try 😍 Happy Birthday to your Lucky dog and hope you and your family will enjoy some quality time together 🥰
Thank you so much for your nice words and interesting questions!! We are absolutely not gambling people and I didn’t even have a thought of visiting a casino in Batumi lol (while probably I should have considered it for the yt content ahaha) so I don’t know how it looks inside - but for sure there are pictures of the websites. I believe Batumi will be great for both families (I’ve seen lots of couples with kids there) and people who want to play at casinos 🎰 And I think in summer it’s even more fun than in winter!

Wonderful you have great friends to travel with. I laughed when you showed the chickens 😂, before you started your short but hilarious rant 🤣😂🙃 🤠

The video of Batumi was very nice, at summer must be amazing 😀😀
Great to see Batumi. I’ll definitely go there one day
Very relaxing and interesting video! Love the background music too :)
Love this video! Beautiful scenery! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
The three musketeeers comes to my mind.
Very enjoyable and informing video. It reminded me perhaps of Balchik a little bit but Batumi seems way better looking and developing today.
Hi. It's very nice. Thank You Dasha.
I had never heard of this city, but I will add it to the list of places I want to visit someday
Avoid !

Spectacular town
The apartment looks great, and anything looking over a space of water is great and relaxing

$102 for 2 nights ? That is a great deal! I would love to visit there.

What an interesting city! The combination of older Soviet, European and ultra modern architecture all mixed is unique. Thanks for a very nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

They tie palm trees to protect them from snow. Sometimes Batumi gets really heavy snowfall.

If I’m not making a mistake, there are 2 or 3 daily trains. And the dogs are homeless so they eat what they find or what people give them
