This is a coaster I've been working on for over a year now and I think it's time to move on to other projects :P
*All theming, scenery, and buildings are made of supports; no .3ds was used.*
Here's the spiel...
So I tried to create a coaster that I thought had some sense of 'clonability', like the Batman: The Ride, and this is what came out of it. This 'model' of floorless coaster (presented in this video as Gurubashi) was designed to utilize a long, narrow strip of land--ideal for traversing park borders or commercial spaces (like Hollywood Dream). In Gurubashi, the coaster was constructed in a dry river bed that cut through the park, utilizing land that was previously unused by the park. The coaster is the highlight of the jungle-themed section of the park as its zero-g roll passes over the entrance to the zone.
Song is Warrior Concerto by The Glitch Mob.
Edit: You can download the coaster here: nolimits-exchan...
The layout and colour scheme is PERFECT
nice pace and layout!!
That was actually a huge motivation behind this project haha! Glad you noticed ;D
Amazing and intricate. My only concern is how close some of the palm trees are at the beginning.
flawless you've got this mastered.
C'est magnifique, This is beautiful
Thank you!! I used Newton for this coaster but have since switched to FVD.
Nice head chopper at the end!
Great work. Congratulations.
Best ride I've ever seen on nolimits 2
this is nolimits 1
ethan brendel I
Great scenery. Must be a lot of work to make the whole scenery just out of supports.
great job! this is beautiful
I'm actually hoping to put out a tutorial sometime soon! It's more about deciding what to cover that's been holding me back rather than having to actually do it. If you guys have any recommendations or suggestions of things you'd want me to cover in a tutorial, let me know! :)
Perfect for California Great America Park it fits well even though 1 hour drive away from san jose where CGA is theres also another floorless medusa but yeah your ride can be the next CGA coaster
You make mine like they suck that's how good you are at this!!!
This music is my jam!!!
I use Newton 2 (you can google it), which is a program that lets you shape the track based on forces. There are several tutorials on youtube to help get you started and once you get comfortable with it, it's definitely a valuable tool to have.
Great coaster
Great job.
Very cool ride!!!
Again awesome
awesome
Thank you! And I don't mind at all haha; I actually don't use .3ds objects, all my scenery/theming is made out of supports in the No Limits Editor, so I wouldn't be able to answer that :\ sorry.
Thanks! And yup I used Newton 2.
Pacing on a few areas could be improved a bit, but I like the unusual elements and interaction
love it
I wish I was haha, it took about a year of casual work.
Just posted a link in the description to download! (You have to make an account with the website if you don't already have one though :\)
By scenario, do you mean the whole coaster or just the scenery? Either way the answer is the same haha; the program is No Limits Coaster Simulator, and the scenery was made out of wooden supports and catwalks in the No Limits Editor.
Yeah, how did you do that. When i built a coaster like this, it would not be so smoth.
From Germany.
very nice !:D
a great roller coaster I want to download
I wish this was a real life coaster
Interesting coaster. Rally good job with the supports and perfect heartlinening, do you use FVD or Newton? Oh, and so good and hard work doing the scenario with catwalks!
In general people only have that few tutorials to learn how to use and master this program?
This is amazing!!! How Long Did it take to build altogether???
What is the music by the way the coaster is blowin the top man!
you sir are badass! sub freakin scribed!
Sorry but I will steal that concept!
Just think this is what Hydra could have been. :(
So cool but it feels like the ride itself has too many things going right. In succession anyway.
He used a third party program called Newton 2.
How do you make the walkways and buildings? I want to do them, but I can't find any tutorials or explanations D:
What kind of GC do you guys use... I have vista and can only pull like 5 FPS with hardly anything going on. (Simulator not designer)
May I ask how you made the walkways and queue lines. Thanks, TheCoasterMan1
you go through a building, so wierd
What program you used to make this scenario? 3d studio max ?
i have an account on there anyway ile defenantly download this :)
is this up for download?
Great but b&m coasters have 8 cars
David Hodgson There are several B&M coasters (floorless and others) with 7 cars. Hair Raiser I believe has 7, some inverts have 7 (Flight Deck in California), and Daemon in Tivoli and Nitro in India @ Adlabs Imagica are both floorless coasters with 6 cars actually (Nitro is newer too). The number of cars depends on the layout and park's needs.
Amazing!
