these are definitely my go to sleeves for decks im using at tournaments. I used to like dragon shield but i hate the inconsistency in quality. some sleeves lasted months, but others would crack and bend within a week of buying them. People said the one manufactured in denmark would still have many problems when looking specifically for denmark dragon shields. Apexes are definitely more expensive, so i dont buy them for every deck, but if im using the deck all the time, ill go ahead and spend the extra few bucks for it to feel great.
i just wanted to follow up on how these sleeves have been holding up for you after a month. dragon shields i always feel like i need to replace them after 3-4 weeks of use
Hi mate. I haven't got round to resleeving either of my commander decks yet and have only used them as spare sleeves for draft. So far though they still are holding up after some light use
i ordered these for my deck and they began splitting on the edges after shuffling up on the sixth game. I already did not like that they are not sized for double sleeving but they break on the edges frequently. I do not recommend these.
I am severely disappointed by these sleeves after buying them. Not only they are more expensive than Dragon Shield but except their design, everything is of a lower quality.... They are slimmer, flimsier, and are sliding everywhere... When I put my 100 card commander deck, the cards are on the verge of failing and sliding by themself... Huge disappointing on my side...
Thanks for the comment mate. I'm gonna be resleeving one of my commander decks in these soon so will be interested to see for myself. Thank you for the heads up 👍🏻
@@JackTalksMTG My main issue with these sleeves is the price. These are around 20€ in my country, which are around 50% more expensive than similar Dragon Shields (not saying that Ultra Pros are mediocre by any means), but they offer so little for that price... You would just expect a better quality.
Everything is better than dragons nowadays. The only thing they had going going for them was durability but now their durability is worse than all of the other good sleeves. Never like their taller size, their shuffle feel is shit and their front often has weird scratch marks.

Glad you're enjoying them mate. I've just sleeved up one of my commander decks in them so I'm hoping to get some more extensive testing on them soon
I will say personally I've had no problems with dragon shields at all

Sleeves feel great but the sleeve size is inconsistent

Thanks for sharing your experience. Definitely getting mixed feedback from these sleeves as time goes on

@@Rhymestera yeah if they are double the price I'd expect a lot tbf as dragon. Shields are already premiumly priced as is
