I agree, but these zoom in zoom out jump cuts kind of go against the chill vibe and are a biiiiiit too frequent. Just like 30% less of them would be better.
Adoring these. Make hundreds of these in this format so I can unlearn my race to the rare and really learn to appreciate each card as its own little piece.
Really love this series. As someone who came into MtG during core set 202, 99% of these packs will probably be from before my time so it’s cool to take a stroll back in history and hear little anecdotes.
I didn't expect this to become my favourite short stories you guys make, but I also didn't expect to get Heartfired as many times as I did so maybe I'm just bad at expecting things.
Oh baby, I missed you guys doing these together on the podcasts, so this is a great series of videos just to hear people talk about random magic cards, their art, memories about the card in formats or just silly stuff. Thanks Graham!
This is incredibly chill. It's like you're hangin' out with a buddy and you're on the couch playing a video game or something and he's just sorting his Magic cards and while you're not actually interacting with each-other the vibes are just choice and you wouldn't trade this moment for the world. ...I really miss my friends. >_>
Graham, these are awesome and, like all LRR content, a wholesome reminder that people are still people in this new world. Thanks for being amazing humans!
A ceratok climbing onto a pegasus... and then the ceratok takes off on its brand new flying carpet! Because that horse sure isn't staying 3-dimensional
Engagement! Honestly, Command Zone's "The Power of Priority" right before War of the Spark came out, got me back into magic after a ~1 year break (only really doing kitchen table casual stuff since Kahns with some friends who used to play a long time ago). Between Command Zone/learning about commander, War, and MH1, I got hooked back into magic, and learned about LRR thanks to the two times Gram and Kathleen were one Commander Zone. Despite hating Narset and Teferi, War is still one of my favorite sets (I love proliferate and +1/+1 counters).
I was playing R/W tokens during War of the Spark to win before planeswalkers could drop & have 6 goblins/soldiers to smash them with if they did land. Please keep doing this series. It's awesome seeing packs I've opened & the 5th ed one was awesome, cause I started playing in 6 & 7th ed, so all the cards were familiar & nostalgic.
I really like the crack a packs, it lets me see cards from before I played, but personally I feel like doing 2-3 packs instead of just one would make the video feel ‘fuller’ is the best word I can think of.
Oh Graham. I want to give a hug, or perhaps more helpfully some space to chill for a bit with a nice drink. It's been a long old time lately. Really enjoying these videos as some chill riffing and reminiscing on cards for a little while.
Role Reversal was awesome with Emergence Zone during your opponents "wipe them out" attack, where suddenly their biggest attacker was gone and I had a huge blocker for their second biggest thing, giving them a 1/1 token.
I think the thing that's up-side with Bleeding Edge is that if you cast it and the creature you've targeted dies while it's on the stack (like, they sac it or something), you still get to Amass.
If you play commander, build a Feather deck with Legionnaire in it. It is a beast that has won me many games. Oh, you are targeting my 7/7 attacking legionnaire with a removal spell? I'll just cast this here Shelter, scry 1, make it bigger, give it protection from a color of your removal spell, and draw a card.
if i remember correctly, the "up to one" text on Bleeding Edge ensures that the Amass effect still resolves if the target of the -2/-2 effect dies before resolution.
I love this, what a wonderful afternoon snack of a magic content. I'd love to see Cam, Nelson, or any of the other mtg-playing crew members do some as well. Thanks for what you do!
When Graham pulls the cards from the pack and says "nice", it's making me think of stevemre whenever he gets the food out, and I hope that Graham is making a reference to that. He did it last episode and this episode.
Fun fact. If you have a 2/2 Zombie Army, and you Bleeding Edge it, thanks to the processing of state based actions, you'll put 2 more +1/+1 counters on it before the toughness
This series seems neat, just opening a pack and talking about the cards. It’s relaxing and neat
I agree, this is the kind of thing I'd probably just binge ten of in a sitting if they were there.
True
I agree, but these zoom in zoom out jump cuts kind of go against the chill vibe and are a biiiiiit too frequent. Just like 30% less of them would be better.
Neat
Super enjoying the “speaking into the void” mentality of these. Also, no one would fault you for just smashing face with Boros in this set.
More of these please. I really like them a lot.
But you could play a 8 Person Draft, i mean Team Draft 3vs3, or Pentagram, maybe even Winston Draft. At least Pack Wars?
We have plenty to do that, once we can. This is also fun!
@@LRRMTG I know, was just a lighthearted comment. Been watching a lot Friday Nights recently...again.
“I am the Graham. I speak for the Cards.”
I think having a partner or behind the camera voice might help graham descend into madness at a slower rate 😂
I like to think of my going quietly mad as a *feature*
@@LRRMTG any chance for a lil' bookend comedy sketch thing of G losin' it, maybe?
@@LRRMTG I was going to say, I enjoy mildly awkward G. "Where am I going with this? Who knows and certainly not me!"
Why on Earth (Ravnica?) would you want to slow the descent into madness? That's half the fun of these!
@@liamdunleavy7916 like Only seeing morphs?
You can also imagine that Pegasus flying an entire army on its back!
The “leave a comment below” face and tone alone is clip worthy
Its amazing that the closeups arent just the picture files with a background, but ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPHS. so much effort, i am amazed.
I really like this series, I don't always want to watch/listen to a magic podcast, but I like these short form crack a packs
I love how these feel like just a chat with Graham about random cards he's found. Very relaxed and fun
I really like this. It's super chill, not overly "hardline" or negative. Just the right mix of funny, positive, and relaxed.
I love this format. It’s nice and streamlined, perfect for little windows of time. I also dig the nostalgia.
I really feel like Graham is aging like a fine wine. Getting more precious with every year
I also never realized Bleeding Edge had the 'up to' text either. We're all learning today.
"My name is Graham Stark and I am the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed pack one pick one of this pack, THE BEAST Thundering Ceratok!"
The quiet, subtle music behind Graham losing his mind is a nice touch here. Chill vibes only.
hello, yes youtube algorithm, i would like to register my engagement with this content and appreciation for how chill and pleasant this series is
Wait. Did you film a new intro for every single pack? That's so much attention to detail.
This is what we needed. An ASMR pack opening experience. Nice, casual, and Graham's shenanigans.
I love Graham's awkwardness here. It's quite entertaining.
Also I enjoy these. Please keep making them.
I didn't expect this to become my favourite short stories you guys make, but I also didn't expect to get Heartfired as many times as I did so maybe I'm just bad at expecting things.
Didn't play during this set so most of these were new to me. Like the series. Super chill.
I'm really enjoying these bite sized existential crack-a-packs, just a little window into the mind through the lens of a pack.
Real big fan of this series already- Graham is so engaging, and slowing down and enjoying a pack is very relaxing.
Oh baby, I missed you guys doing these together on the podcasts, so this is a great series of videos just to hear people talk about random magic cards, their art, memories about the card in formats or just silly stuff. Thanks Graham!
I love these videos!
Just a fun, short and well produced Magic fix and some nostalgia about limited formats to get your day started.
I love this a lot, it really shows off Graham's ability to improvise an entertaining situation from a tiny prompt.
😄
i didn't think i'd enjoy watching one pack opened for 11 minutes, but i did. please keep it up.
man im so engaged with this engaging content. FR I really like this series, fun, mellow, and short
Those are some seriously toit edits, Cori. Wonderfully editcrafted.
That’s my hope!
Thanks for the large editing effort (for ‘just’ a crack-a-pack). These are nice bitesize fun
I like you rambling about packs, i especially like ones before my time because they are just neat.
Crack a pack is my favorite part of TTC so I love these vids too! Cant wait for more!!
this is so much better than just straight up opening 10 packs in 10 minutes, good job man
This blue hue in the light you use, really makes the unique canadian taint glow!
The sound of the pack opening was my favorite bit.
What is this energy?! I love the selection of vibes so far; keep 'em coming!
These have been fun to watch as someone trying to get better at drafting. The walk-through at the end of what you'd pick is nifty to hear.
Mini-series while we wait for full episodes? Yes please!
Engagement! I'm glad you're enjoying doing these, you certainly look like you're having fun!
Engagement!

You could say Graham becomes a real Spokesman for Dangerous And Very Effective cards.
Graham, card advocate. Sounds like an awesome planeswalker to me.
When you get back to doing Friday Nights, I think Graham should definitely be Card Advocate!
Loving this content! I especially love the pack value breakdown at the end.
Im really enjoying this series. I found myself checking for the next one. Great commentary Graham.
Gotta be nice..... words and a philosophy to live by. Yet so few actually do.... especially online.
But you all at LRR are so awesome and nice.
I am very much enjoying this series. It's relaxing.
"I speak for the cards Graham" my new favorite Lorax.
Graham's mouth movements are on point this episode. 10/10
I am really loving and am engaged with this series.
Oh Graham. I want to give a hug, or perhaps more helpfully some space to chill for a bit with a nice drink. It's been a long old time lately.
Really enjoying these videos as some chill riffing and reminiscing on cards for a little while.

YES! More of this with all of LRR! I want to hear Cameron or Ben or BEEJ (with an UN pack) talk about magic LoL
This was fun and chill. Made me subscribe, actually. :)
NGL, even once in person TRC is back, I would love these still. The cracks pack on TTC has very different vibes, and I just love both
Yup, I am very here for these!
Love the chill vibes and just shooting the sh*t
Tibalt's Rager flavor text: "Find out whose that is. I like its energy." --Judith. Judith givin' off some energy of her own.
I love the little price breakdown, very neat
Paying my tithe to the algorithm, because I want to see more of this fine, quality content :)
These are so nice to watch as a fun short video to relax to
So far im in love with this series :D
These are fun and the editing is great! Awesome job, Graham and Cori!
I LOVED War of the Spark. It was such a cool idea.
"I'm the advocate for the cards."
"This card...is awful."
-Same Graham, Different Episodes
I like this bitesize series and the crinkling pack-opening ASMR bit
Please continue to be an advocate for the cards! Loving these crack a packs!
11 minutes on a single crack a pack should be way too long, yet Graham makes it great easy watching with much insight!
I think the thing that's up-side with Bleeding Edge is that if you cast it and the creature you've targeted dies while it's on the stack (like, they sac it or something), you still get to Amass.
Legionnaire was an absolute powerhouse, the scry on it is just gravy
If you play commander, build a Feather deck with Legionnaire in it. It is a beast that has won me many games. Oh, you are targeting my 7/7 attacking legionnaire with a removal spell? I'll just cast this here Shelter, scry 1, make it bigger, give it protection from a color of your removal spell, and draw a card.
if i remember correctly, the "up to one" text on Bleeding Edge ensures that the Amass effect still resolves if the target of the -2/-2 effect dies before resolution.
I mostly remember Tenth District Legionaire as "Feather's good friend"
I love this, what a wonderful afternoon snack of a magic content. I'd love to see Cam, Nelson, or any of the other mtg-playing crew members do some as well. Thanks for what you do!
Love this format, just Graham riffing on random draft cards, more of these would be awesome.
Kraulen is a german verb that basicly means scratch gently. So having Kraul insect people is kind of a strange thing to me, a german dude. ^^
Let it be known that I very much like this format for crack a pack. I am engaging with this content.
Graham narrowly missed being the devil's advocate after advocating for Tibalt's Rager
Graham is really enjoying himself with these and im here for it.
I really like the relaxed feel of this format. Maybe you guys can use these to also do one or more chaos drafts. Those are always fun.
When possible again, of course.
this series always chill
I think Trusted Pegasus is my pick here. Fliers that give other creatures flying are usually pretty playable.
This is awesome, I love the bite size content!
I have engaged with this series. Thank you.
When Graham pulls the cards from the pack and says "nice", it's making me think of stevemre whenever he gets the food out, and I hope that Graham is making a reference to that. He did it last episode and this episode.
I clicked like and subscribed! then I rang the bell and checked the settings within the bell! After I did all that I left a comment!
Mummy, why's that rhinoceros climbing on the back of that winged horsey? -They're just wrestling dear.
Fun fact. If you have a 2/2 Zombie Army, and you Bleeding Edge it, thanks to the processing of state based actions, you'll put 2 more +1/+1 counters on it before the toughness
Wow I am loving these limited analysis for each pack and seeing the prices is really cool too.
This is so chill, I love it
Missed the intro last time - that's sweet! Props to whoever set that up.
Maybe we should put Godzilla on the back of the Pegasus? Please keep doing this, it's amazing!
Graham, I would like to both engage with you as well as give you guys a thumbs up on these. They're good.
You cracked a pack and cracked me up. Great job man.
