- I know you guys wanted Eldar but I definitely need more time to get situated with them due to the massive variety of builds they have and micro required.
But here are Orks, also what I would consider to be among the best races if a little bit punishing on micro.

I really hope this video helps anyone out with orks in particular, but for those interested really it's about what you do early more than anything with orks. Also the initial bigmek + shootas can be used both defensively and offensively depending on playstyle. I'm just an aggressive player so I moreso focus on going in and doing damage. But playing defensively and looking to control the middle of the map isn't wrong either.

Relic programmed the Ork gameplay to be Gork focused, but high level players made them Mork focused.
I think it's the other way around!

Nice guide gud job boss a good thing to mention for new players aswell is how you can detach big mek at will to tie up squads and attach him to tp squads out
Ah I probably forgot to mention that! Hmm I'm also using gridkeys for my hotkeys so mine are very very different from standard hotkeys.

@@Kazrim haha yeah they are god awful, the camera mod is a game changer too it feels brutal without it. Think there's a nice texture mod I have installed aswell that just makes it look a bit sharper
This is a really good video and I would love to see one for every race. I feel like this game is getting yet another second wind with unification mod so you might get some decent traffic.
I started playing this again recently, god damn it's still a great game! Dow 2 and 3 were dissapointing to me. Id love to see a remaster of DOW with more content that's what people really wanted!

In your opinion, what is the ranking of races from easiest to the most difficult for a new player?
Hmm I think that can be somewhat subjective and depends on playstyle but you can't go wrong with space marines, chaos space marines, imperial guard and necrons.
I think they all have fairly beginner friendly learning curves, guard being maybe a little more difficult but IG turret rush is hilariously easy and funny to do to people.

What I find odd is can you even re-bind hotkeys? Because I can't. Also I don't understand how you can have such wide view of the map, meanwhile mine, you can barely see an area slightly larger than your base.

There's a specific mod called camera mod you need to download. You can get it off moddb. That allows that nice crazy huge zoom because uhh the normal camera is a bit too close

Any tips for facing Tau, been playing the unification mod as orks and no matter what I do the Tau just walk all over the orks, Tau Commander 3 shots any unit that isn't Gorgutz, stealth and fireteams just run while my orks don't land any hits.
Fast into vehicles, get buggies out amd bomb em, a truck works great for detection etc
Remember that WAAAGH! banners can reveal stealth units.
Can you do a video on macroing properly, when to tech up LPS, when to get gens, or when to push.

Is the community for this game active? I bought dawn of war months back but kind of dropped it(along with a bunch of other rts games) because the genre is ridiculously hard to understand, but recent lore videos make me want to pick this back up and clobbah da oomiez
if you look at the lobbies available when looking for game to join there's a good amount of people who still play the unification mod for soulstorm
The knowledge just comes with time, I've been playing this game since I was 9 and I pretty much do everything these tutorials do from learning and playing. You eventually learn how the AI plays each race and how to counter, I can send links to examples of what to do while playing if you want.
