Curious on why Shiggy did not use quirk to obliterate heroes after touching the ground in but I have a suspicion monama now borrowed the Erasure quirk now
I imagine because, ironically, he doesn't' have as much control over the spreading decay as he did with the direct-touch Decay. I think if he unleashed it now, it'd wipe out his allies as well as his enemies. ALSO they still need Deku in one piece until they can steal OFA back. @@elephantmarch If she had done Shigarakis vestige in the vestige world would be gone. And it was still there after she was done so she probably hasn’t.
You are correct. It's pretty evident Monoma copied Erasure as well as Warp Gate. That is why Shiggy couldn't use his Decay's quick. Shiggy tried, as shown in the panel with his 3 fingers on the floor (he doesn't need all 5 fingers since his awakening). That is why he looked surprised and tried to warn Dabi, but Dabi ignored him and went after Endeavor. The reason's Dabi's quirk wasn't erased was because Monuma is focusing only on Shiggy's Decay, like Erasurehead did in the War arc.
@@wt2351 Though, if Monoma was using Erasure on Shigarkai, wouldn't it be a bad idea to put Shigaraki in a cage where he could then use it immediately once out of Monoma's view? Unless they paired up Monoma with a powerhouse hero in the same cage as them
Finally someone from class 1b is getting the spotlight. I still think Kinoko (Mushroom girl) can low-key end most of the villains though. She only need give them a severe case of tuberculosis or something, but those Public Safety Commission joy killers would probably persecute her after the fact.
"All of this JUST to split us up" It is pretty clear that with the word "just" being inside this sentence the plan won't go as smoothly for the heroes as they depicted it to be
@@XallbX Exactly! He can literally use search to find out who is fighting Midoriya(obviously Shigaraki) and just make his way over there. Or, just let Shigaraki do it(since he should have either a copy or the original AFO quirk within him with all the quirks it's stockpiled). Or maybe they have a plan for that too😮...
You do realize that the hero's plans throughout the ENTIRE series have gone completely to plan right? By all rights, despite the villains getting away at times, the heroes have NEVER lost a single engagement with the villains. They may say the villains did a blow in the last fight but the villains still ran away in the end; if you're forced to run then you lost the fight and the heroes have NEVER run once in this whole series.
I always liked him. Basically a mini AFO but more ethical since he just copies quirks instead of removing them from the owner. And how he taunted everyone to get to use their quirks (Kirishima and Bakugo) was just baller!astering something as complex as Warp Gate in a week is still bullshit, but let's what happens next for our blonde boy...
Shinso wasn’t even the star to me this chapter tbh I’m really impressed by monoma this time around , mastering kurogiri quirk in a couple days & even potentially ( my own little head cannon ) aizawa’s making him more of a threat on the battlefield. He out here giving me chrollo Lucifer vibes now ( i honestly believe he was inspired by chrollo at this point , phantom troupe, phantom thief )
I also think Monoma will use Aizawa’s quirk and perhaps even Present Mic’s to complete the trio. A combination of Present Mic and Shinso’s quirks would be deadly.
I think that everyone from the league used stain as a way to push there own agendas and they did not really believe in his ideology of a better hero society
@@toocutenoirb.4278 no, spinner followed stain because he was a nobody who wanted to be a part of something bigger. He didn't really care about his ideologies.
@@mangafan589 He sort of cared because as the manga has shown people like him are treated badly and stain called out an unjustified society that worshipped heroes who uphold no or even trash values. Spinner outta everyone took what Stain to heart in the most naive way but still
I love that they're basically copying what the League did during USJ when they attacked Class 1-A by teleporting and splitting them up. Even cooler how they're doing it with the same quirk that was previously used against them by Kurogiri now being used by Monoma. Not sure if it's on purpose but I'd like to think it's a nod to the first fight now moving on to what is presumably the final fight.
I think Touya can kill both Enji and Shoto if he uses his fire efficiency. Not just spamming large quantity of fire, but just concentrate the fire to very small spot and shoot them. Kinda like Bazz B's (Bleach) Burning Finger One. In the manga, Bazz B severely injured Hitsugaya with Burning Finger 1 which is when he points his finger and released a concentrated beam of fire. He then proceeds to use Burning Finger 2 to almost kill him (Burning Finger 2 is the same with BF1 but with two fingers instead of one). With this skill, Touya could theoretically just one shots both Enji and Shoto with an extremely concentrated fire beam.
@@Hardcore_Hybrid Yes, but would be much more potent because Touya's fire is stated to be hotter than Enji's so you can argue with concentrated shot, the technique can negate any defenses because it's so concentrated and so hot. Just like when Bazz B pierced through Hitsugaya's ice shield without any difficulty, and left a hole in Hitsugaya's body.
Come to think of it, if endeavor taught dabi back then to channel the fire in a smaller but concentrated scale, maybe that could had changed dabis fate
I'm curious if his cold-resistance will play into it somehow. What i'd REALLY love ot see is Shoto beating him by convincing him this'll be a one-on-one family clash, and allow the more fire resistance members to sneak up and punch him. Afterall, I think a big step forward to Shoto was allowing others to team up with him, even if he's more powerful overall. Would be great to have a call back to his intro with the 2 vs 2 class assignments: imagine if somehow Oijiro and Hagakure save him haha
Huh. Well Monoma using warp gate was the ABSOLUTE perfect way to get around convincing Kurogiri. It never even occurred to me. And MONOMA FINALLY GETS TO BE AN ASS AND BE USEFUL DOING IT. That made me smile and now that he’s copied a quirk amalgamation of Shirakumo’s cloud and warp combo quirk, it makes me wonder if he copied AFO could he give the quirks he copies PERMANENTLY to another. Don’t think that will happen since he could accidentally make a Nomu/VERY unresponsive person out of a VERY useful hero, but it’s fun to think about. And I still think he and Toga will be the ones to throw down. Also the line there’s no such thing as a side character, made me LAUGH HARD. Not because it’s untrue in terms of the real world, but because Horikoshi has done EVERYTHING he can to make that statement true with over 60 characters having importance, arcs, and various motivations and progress. Which is ABSURDLY impressive, though I’m worried he may have bit off more than he can chew for this final war. Which is what I’ve been worried about since the AvB arc. How can you possibly bring a satisfying conclusion to so many characters on such a short time frame? It’s WHY I think a sequel series may HAVE to be done because in a year time, I can only see so many arcs concluding. So it may be worth concluding the pros arcs over the kids who have SO much more to offer and grow and let them die or retire in peace. (Mainly because the kids as strong as they are, can’t POSSIBLY hold against the big antagonists as of now outside the main 5 characters. And 2 of them need a big buff to stand. Which they very well COULD do, and I’ve said how and why many times. Iida removing his mufflers again and Uraraka noticing her quirk is bat shit crazy and she has demonstrated the biggest arsenal in the class outside Momo and Deku.) Separating the villains is not that big of a deal. The problem is throwing the EXACT right people at the villains. Endeavor is NO WHERE NEAR as helpful as he seems. The last time I saw him blast AFO, AFO treated him like a child being too loud in a library. And Shigaraki although not at 100% YET, wouldn’t have COME if he couldn’t take what made him flee last time. The heroes do NOT have the right people to finish this without All-Might. Which brings us to Tsukauchi referencing All-Might’s 1st battle with AFO. The biggest and most important question mark. Without knowing the true capabilities of All-Might’s maximum and AFO’s maximum, we will never get the idea of how strong Shigaraki and Deku are. They NEED to either flashback and show the 1st fight, or create the conditions for their 3rd encounter to be the same conditions as their 1st. Eri WOULD NOT HAVE ENTERED THE STORY AT ALL if the 3rd encounter wasn’t going to happen. And there are too many factors pointing towards her use by AFO. Who I deem as a bigger problem than even AFS at this moment. Also Dabi turned rabid FAST. I know how excited he is and I’m super amused he did the SHOTOOOO scream. I’m looking forward to that encounter. Still think he’s secretly withholding his ice quirk he may have discovered to escape dying in the blue fire snowy forest he was lost in. And still think he will kill Endeavor with said ice as his way of ultimate torture. Also Mera is the guy who always needs coffee right? HE’S the chief?! I guess Redestro really did kill the lady Chief from season 5. Nezu you did something pro hero! Congrats!….that is NOTHING in the big picture and with both plans unveiled instantly, now we look for how the villains counter that. And since Nezu was present for both secret plans, he might be the counterplay. STILL not looking away until he does something actually substantial. He’s the damn principal doing NOTHING.
Monoma probably wouldn't be able to use AFO, as it is probably a blank quirk (Like deku's OFA) BUT toga may be able to, with her new quirk 'upgrade', as she can now use the one she loves quirks, she loves deku.
@@chrisyoung7662 that’s my point. Here let me explain. Monoma has copied his full arsenal but 1. Copies AFO as his final. Would he not be able to give out his copied quirks as the ACTUAL quirks? That would get around his blank rule. He can’t take all day stockpiling. But he could creatively get around that. He did grow Eri’s horn after all. It was just an empty well.
@@chrisyoung7662 Actually Monoma could probably use AFO. The reason OFA didn't work as intended when he copied it is because OFA needed multiple person passing it on and stacking it to be useful, but Monoma still technically copied OFA like when he copied Eri's quirk he manifested her horn but it needs time to charge up. AFO is technically just a quirk stealing quirk so there's no reason for Monoma's quirk to not work on it, unless it needs some kind of stockpiling like Eri's and AFO. But I won't be surprised if AFO is in possession of something to counteract this kinds of quirk, after all he is the person most knowledgeable about quirks and is wary about quirks that can potentially steal his own quirk.
@@Kaempfdog hmmm, I see so he would have them but can't use them, he would only have the physical part of the quirk, not the 'magic' part. (Like OFA's lightning (?) And Eri's horn)
@@Kaempfdog Monoma would only be able to copy the base quirk of AFO the same as when he copied OFA, he wasn't able to copy the stockpiled quirks but copied the base quirk. So basically he'll be able to steal quirks if he ever copy AFO quirk, just without the quirks accompanying with it.
Will Monoma be the new Erasure of this arc? It's also possible that he'll have Kurogiri's quirk through out the duration of this fight because he could just teleport back to the "source" and copy it again before the duration of Copy runs out (I also wonder what his new duration of copied quirks currently is)
He could also do the same for Aizawa's quirk because Aizawa already admitted to not being able to use his quirk anymore and Monoma acknowledging the monumental effort Aizawa's quirk played in the previous battle, strongly suggests that he's gonna have to copy the quirk in other to replicate the same effort in the current battle.
Shigaraki couldn’t use his quirk so Monoma probably copied his quirk (his discussion with Aizawa about how he will not be able to use his quirk anymore also makes me believe he did)
God that’s the exact way to call him Shiggy seems to be no more than a nomu he’s just some monster even with the damn text bubbles almost like it’s a different character
I love your Monama and Shinso take, because it's integral to the show on how people get caste'd based on there "quirks," and how all it took is the right moment or even someone to see the value in the "lower valued" people.
Eh, honestly we've seen more then enough of that; i'd like to see them paired up with OTHER characters for the individual fights. I think we're due for, say, a Bakugou-Uraracka match up.
I know before some people theorized Shirakumo coming back (even if briefly) in time to help the heroes for the war, but so glad it's more logical with Monoma using Kurogiri's quirk. Avoids the 'power of friendship' convenience while giving Monoma a key role to play.
Shinso has an immensely broken quirk so he's either going to get his throat chopped and maimed or he's going to get killed. People with busted quirks don't last long in this series. 😞
idk man it's good for stealth shit and doing things behind the scenes, that's about it. He shines when he's using his voice modulator to trick everyone but even then it's super hard to get anything done when someone figures out his quirk.
holy hell this is going to be epic. everything's finally going down in this battle and i don't know if i'm ready for the deaths in the following chapters
What deaths? Which heroes do you think Horikoshi really and to kill? Maybe Eraserhead, Fatgum, or even Endeavour, but most of the main fights will be with the star kids and you KNOW they're not gonna die, which is gonna kill some suspense for me and a couple people.
If Endeavir, Hawks, Aizawa and All Might die, we all know that all the Classes will enter Vengeful Mode and kill the villains the most painful way to suffer the same the heroes did. So no, I don't think they're gonna be too many deaths in this war. And I also don't think this is the end.
Dynamight will assist Deku to fight Shigaraki Froppy will assist Uravity to fight Toga Endeavor will assist Shoto to fight Dabi like father like son to bring his first born son back to rejoin the family again I would want Tsukuyomi or Ingenium to assist Shoto but I don’t think both of them would beat Dabi & Tsukuyomi already fought Dabi since Paranormal Liberation War & he was no match for him
ALSO, is suspect, Spinner Vs Shoji. THAT is where we'll see Shoji finally show his face... It just hit me: if Toga can only copy Quirks of those she "loves", and it's already established she "loves" Deku.. what if she can use all his current Quirks?
@@elephantmarch Don’t forget who will fight Skeptic too will one of Class 1A fight him either is Red Riot, Chargebolt, Pinky, Cellophane, Tailman, Earphone Jack or Creati
And also if Uravity learned that Toga already took & drink Deku’s blood back in Provisional Hero License Exam and can transform to him during their final battle I wonder how will she react in this situation
I have a question on the chapter. 1. Did Monoma have Erasure Quirk that's why Shigaraki's Decay didn't activated when he touched the floor or it's because Dabi rushed to the heroes immediately. 2. Can Shinso controls Gigantomachia. I think the other students from class 1b, Shiketsu High, and Ketsubutsu Academy are waiting on the other end of the portal. I hope Stain, Lady Nagant, and Gentle Criminal and La Brava help the heroes. I hope Monoma also copies the quirk of Overhaul and Mr. Compress.
I gotta be honest, I was really hoping for a final showdown like the one in Avengers Endgame, but having all the villains split into groups to be fought against groups of heroes from (what it seems) would probably work best for the heroes side in terms of numbers. Separating everyone up could also be a link to the first bigish battle of MHA in the USJ with how Kurogiri split everyone up.

I hate how easily horikoshi is giving out Quirk evolutions. They used to be milestones showing the surpassing of mental and physical barriers to just being a power-up
So far AFO's undoing isn't so much arrogance... but lack of creativity. Specifically, thinking he's above creative thinking. Both the lie detector and his search Quirk were overcome using creative Quirks like Shinso's Brainwash or Monoma's Copy.... and AFO would never expect that because he's used to fighting people based on strong Quirk match ups. HAHAHA I keep hoping two BIG powers that undo him is Hagakure simply sneaking up and taking something important, or Mineta's pop offs being too strong for him to break out of...
This is so true to his character. Remember how he didn't take best jeanist quirk because he believed it was weak quirk that was only strong because jeanist made it that way.
@@mangafan589 exactly he lacks creative thinking because struggling and weakness breeds innovation. AFO hasn't had to do that in decades he now lacks that mental hunger. It was pretty interesting to see Monoma get his time to shine like that so kudos. And Shinso’s trick was clever. Though even with all that and the separation plan, I really don’t see how AFO doesn’t have a plan for this. This is probably gonna be the scenario where heroes get the upper hand for a bit but soon something devastating happens. Like the last war but much more chaotic. It really needs to happen
I mean AFO himself said that these little units could be knocked down in seconds. Proving that UA, as fortified as it is, is not safe from the villains either.
@@jeffreyali1456 That is just a terrifying possibility. And a totally believable one too. UA is completely unprotected at the moment if that is correct. I wouldn't even say it's really being rushed very much, there are certain things like the hero association that should've been dealt with but that's just one problem out of very few.
@@David12754 i dunno, i find it a little strange, coz from season 1-4 it seems like everything was paced out as if it was intending to take its time like one piece or something (maybe not 1000 eps). but we’ll see the end of mha in probably the next 2 seasons. (Probably 1 season if they skip stuff like in season 5) it makes me wonder why they bothered fleshing out certain aspects of the story that just arent gonna go anywhere. Like why’d we spend an entire half season on the sports festival, when in the grand scheme of the story that segment really doesnt matter anymore now that its ending. And there was an entire half season dedicated to saving Eri, which everyone probably thought was gonna be significant, but again, that story has just kinda become irrelevant, and if Eri does become relevant i’m sure she’ll just be a last second mcguffin type of role. Dont get me wrong i still really like the story, but i think most fans would agree that season 1-4 was kinda just doing its thing building a world and telling a story as they go, and then season 6 onward is just gonna be all hands on deck racing us straight to the finish. Its still a decent enough story, i just think surely i’m not the only one who was expecting things to go differently based on what the story had already been doing until now. Like also why all the hype around shinso joining class A or B down the line only to have him join neither. I really get the impression that the story has been cut short in some way from its original intention
To this day that panel with Monoma's eye peering out from the darkness of Warp Gate while they're talking about there still being hope for Japan sends chills down my spine
The revelation that Monoma was taught that he would only be a side character makes sense to his behavior at the beginning of the series. When we were at 1st introduced to him, I had the feeling that he was definitely overcompensating for something. That his attention seeking behavior was a cry out to be recognized. Now it all makes sense.
Whoa, whoa, whoa Slice... I can understand the rant about the system being broken and relying on it after it failing you, but you can't just toss all the rules out the window just because of that, they're heroes. Hypothetically, what if Monoma did actually get into contact with All For One and turn on his quirk? Would he copy the quirk AFO (villain) is using at the moment or would he copy AFO (quirk)? If he could copy AFO (quirk) would there be a limit to how many he could take, like in Heroes Rising? Also, what would happen to the stolen quirks after he reached his time limit?
Monoma was limited to 6 quirks during the sports fest. I think his time limit then was 15 to 20 minutes tops? I am sure he's stronger now and can handle more since he's trained all year.

Yeah I do agree to some extent. Hopefully the loose threads do get resolved in the final arc. That being said I still love the final arc for the things it presented

I see no inconsistency. There's no guarantee that every member of the HPSC is a bad guy and if they want to restore faith in heroes and in law and order they can't ignore the law.

Monoma and Shinso, My OTP reminds me of Ino Yamanaka from Naruto. They came in super clutch on the most crucial times, All are "support types" but when used right can be gamebreaking with their skillsets.
Okay, so the plan is separate the villains and take them out one by one. This is good and all, but there's just one problem and that is AFO's warping quirk. What if AFO decided to retreat by warping himself and his allies to a safe location or hideout? And what if he decided to warp all of his allies to his current location if he gets separated from them? I hope Horikoshi doesn't forget that AFO can use warp.
@@mangafan589 If he has erasure then that changes everything, but there are still some problems. The first one is that Aizawa had practiced with his quirk for many years in order for it to be very effective, and if Monoma copied it he may not be able to use it as effectively as Aizawa. The second problem is that Monoma has a time limit on his copied quirks, once time runs out it's game over. And the third problem is..... Monoma's fighting skills aren't very impressive. @@elephantmarch agree, it would be bad if shigi decays all of the people including deku, getting one for all is the priority anyway
Nah nah they wouldnt lol does hawks and our lady shooter mean nothing. I mean if it's for greater good they might be turn a blind eye
"All of this JUST to split us up"
It is pretty clear that with the word "just" being inside this sentence the plan won't go as smoothly for the heroes as they depicted it to be
haha yes, this is certainly going TOO well for the heroes, akin to them dominating the hospital/lab AND the Liberation army.
he can just use goo teleportation and bring everyone back to him
well the real reason for splitting them up havent been elaborated yet, maybe the villain is overconfident. we never know
@@XallbX Exactly!
Bro, I’ve been rooting for Monoma ever since he appeared. To see his growth amazes me.
Holy shit that would be insane, he could erase their quirks then just end them like they tried to do to all might.
The craziness in Dabi eyes in every panels is just so satisfying
Dabi went from there are no true heroes and i’ll make the world realize Stain’s ideology to Haha I just wanna hurt Endeavor

Monoma : *Uses Sharingan powers* without Sharingan , he should be called the copy ninja !
Kakashi taught him well
I think Touya can kill both Enji and Shoto if he uses his fire efficiency. With this skill, Touya could theoretically just one shots both Enji and Shoto with an extremely concentrated fire beam.
like bakugo's AP shot?
@@Hardcore_Hybrid
Yes, but would be much more potent because Touya's fire is stated to be hotter than Enji's so you can argue with concentrated shot, the technique can negate any defenses because it's so concentrated and so hot.
Like benimaru when he taught shinra how to tighten a flame an made a cannon
Iida removing his mufflers again and Uraraka noticing her quirk is bat shit crazy and she has demonstrated the biggest arsenal in the class outside Momo and Deku.)
Separating the villains is not that big of a deal.
💯 I think so too.
Shigaraki couldn’t use his quirk so Monoma probably copied his quirk (his discussion with Aizawa about how he will not be able to use his quirk anymore also makes me believe he did)

Maybe or he'll be killed by the end.
I have a question on the chapter.
1. Did Monoma have Erasure Quirk that's why Shigaraki's Decay didn't activated when he touched the floor or it's because Dabi rushed to the heroes immediately.
2. Can Shinso controls Gigantomachia.

Quirk evolutions.

(Probably 1 season if they skip stuff like in season 5) it makes me wonder why they bothered fleshing out certain aspects of the story that just arent gonna go anywhere. Motoma could be AFO's legitimate son. But he has so much AFO potential himself
I always loved Monoma and his hero costume!! My man likes to talk shit and back it up
I see no inconsistency. There's no guarantee that every member of the HPSC is a bad guy and if they want to restore faith in heroes and in law and order they can't ignore the law.
Exactly and historically in EVERY major revolution the winners ALWAYS seek to place a new system for structure. In this case HPSC isn't completely bad so trying to work with it and keep structure in the struggle is a long term move
Yeah, you can't paint the *safety commission* as JUST an *antagonistic force* as the situation is a GRAY matter so posing them as wrong completely is one dimensional too and losing nuance of the issue.
Their plan of splitting up the villains reminds me of how Class 1-A were split up in the USJ attack back in season 1
Yyyyep, another nice "full circle" moment to the series. LOTS left to tie up so hopefully they get to them...
Monoma came clutch in the biggest way possible I don’t think i’ve seen anyone in the whole manga be this clutch
Monoma and Shinso, My OTP reminds me of Ino Yamanaka from Naruto. They came in super clutch on the most crucial times,
All are "support types" but when used right can be gamebreaking with their skillsets.
Monama be the most underrated charter in the series
Okay, so the plan is separate the villains and take them out one by one. This is good and all, but there's just one problem and that is AFO's warping quirk. What if AFO decided to retreat by warping himself and his allies to a safe location or hideout? And what if he decided to warp all of his allies to his current location if he gets separated from them?
I hope Horikoshi doesn't forget that AFO can use warp.
More than likely monoma has erasure to erase his quirk as well.

If he has erasure then that changes everything, but there are still some problems.
He is no weakling, but he ain't exactly a major power house either.
AFO can use search and teleport again all teleported villains back to him.
