Hi @koolkiwikat , I did a brief search on the forums for what you are trying to achieve but could not find anything specific. That said it should not be too difficult to built yourself. Have a watch of the video for controlling a windows PC with Home Assistant (th-cam.com/video/Som-BO1sRvs/w-d-xo.html), that should give you the power utilisation of your HTPC. Alternatively pickup a Sonoff S60 plug (itead.cc/product/sonoff-iplug-wi-fi-smart-plug-s60/) that will give you the power draw. You can then build a simple automation to control the Smart TV (such as th-cam.com/video/gmXd3-5RsCI/w-d-xo.html for LG TV's).
Concise and with the perfect amount of visual background explanation.👍
Thanks for the feedback @joshuadunham4954, it seriously means a lot to know that Smart Home Australia is making a difference and helping others.
Another great video clean easy to follow thanks for your time
Thanks @BigBird2202, glad you enjoyed it. Washing clothes has never been so much fun ;)
Im keen to tweak to suit turning on and off my smart tv based on power usage of my HTPC connected to it, any suggestions where to hunt?
