Not a Kenyan, but I hugely admire Wanjigis insight and obvious talent for making economic/financial matters accessible to a wider audience. Given the fact, that you Kenyans have a severe tendency to elect the wrong people for just about any public office, you could possibly redeem yourself by electing this man for the country's highest office. He does come across as someone who cares. I watched many interviews with Wanjigi and when asked why he cared, he gave a brilliant and probably very honest answer: " I am a businessman, I am in the money-making business. I can only make money if people have money".
This is the one man I will wake up to on the morning of election day to vote for. There is no one who has articulated our economic problems better than him in my opinion
According to my understanding is that money was borrowed which we are now paying the loans, but the government did not do any developments. The curse will haunt all those who are misusing that money.
Only analyzed upto 11:39-so in summary this is what Wanjigi is talking about-The Finance Bill is not part of the budget; it is just for revenue. It has come for public participation before we have approved what that money will be used for. According to the law, the process is as follows: 1. Publish revenue and expenditure estimates. 2. The committee reviews it. 3. Public participation occurs. 4. It goes back to parliament to form the Appropriations Bill, which is the budget. Wanjigi argues that there is a problem with the process because the Appropriations Bill hasn't been seen yet. This is against the law, which specifies the correct sequence. The debate should not be on revenue-raising measures before knowing the expenditure plan. Wanjigi uses the analogy of building a house: you need the design (budget) before estimating costs (revenue). Skip to 7:11 where Wanjigi tells Eric that he is aiding and abetting. The Budget in legal terms is called the Appropriations Bill, which the president signs. It includes: 1. Estimate of revenues: how much is needed and where it will come from. 2. Expenditure: what it will be spent on. Once the president assents (formal agreement or approval) to the Appropriations Bill, it becomes the Appropriations Act. Public participation is needed to pass this bill. Only after the bill is passed should revenue-raising measures be discussed. During public participation, we might reject certain expenditures, which affects the budget policy statement but doesn’t mean it will pass the appropriations. Introducing a housing levy in the Finance Bill prematurely is out of sequence with the legal process. This happened last year when the LSK went to court citing procedural and substantive illegalities, challenging parliament for not following the proper process. This year, the same mistake is being repeated, leading Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah to go to court. Omtatah and Mr. Eliud Karanja fault parliament for prioritizing the Finance Bill, 2024 before considering and approving the Appropriations Act, 2024, which is against the legal process. Thus, public participation is premature as the revenue and expenditure estimates have not been published yet. Kwame mentioned the Finance Bill is proposing up to 200 tax measures, but we don't know what this money is for due to the lack of published revenue estimates.

Hello Kenyans! From a Tanzanian in America offering a perspective from where I sit. This may be an unpopular opinion, but Ruto’s recent trip to the United States may garner more gifts than you think. The private jet trip may end up being worth it. The United States is aware of its declining influence, alarm bells have sounded. It has to find partners that are democratic and free market oriented. The globe is a dark forest where nations can be eaten up if they are not part of certain very influential clubs. NATO’s not so bad. Debt can always be negotiated, Kenya’s is a rounding error that the United States can wave or offset in an afternoon. Remember these two quotes though, attributed to Henry Kissinger but actually belong to Aleksey Efimovich Vandam(Edrikhin) and Lord Palmerston respectively. “It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal.” “America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests.”
Ruto is a thief. Are listening to the speaker.Where is he taking the money he has borrowed.Ruto and his friends are buying properties both locally and abroad.

We once had dreams of a greater Africa. One without these same Balkan borders, and one which people can more greatly organize politically and economically. One in which we can overcome the need for a president, where we can strike a blow to global white imperialism and dream and succeed in a political system superior to this sick colonial one. Why must we be content with “Kenya” a country where most didn’t even get a part in naming. The ruins of conquered and expropriated land and loss of power. The last elections should show how split Kenya has been, and this economic and political system make it necessary. And it’s the one chosen for us by hustory, by European imperial aggression, and the long decimation of African ways of life. And we are still in the midst of maladaptive systems within which undermine the masses. We need far more imagination and strategic organizing to get beyond all these unpopular figures. In a country of 50 million, only about 7 million voted for our president (his imperial majesty). 40% didn’t vote, and that’s even taking in the ambiguity of the elections integrity. And that’s all ignoring how much of the presidency is just for show. And the bureaucrats, and coercive arms like the police that do a lot of the domestic work. These are agendas beyond a president’s capacity to do a lot to control. Not to mention how captured our institutions are.
@@benjaminmurimi9196is what you desire a god like figure is necessary to resolve our crisis? If only it were so easy. Did colonialism end because the British suddenly wanted to be nice? Did it even begin because they decided to be mean? There are some great documentaries on TH-cam that can reveal a bit more. Even a competent leader will have to face square against a whole society and global economic and military system that’s based on imperial production and wealth concentration, with many systems of defense against threats. Although it’s still very fragile and is at a moment where it’s bloated and stumbling, unable to fully reach a point regeneration, and more than desperately in need of being halted and transformed by Africans around the world.

Jimmy shows up in the studio, Eric becomes confused, loses line of questioning, and starts punching below the knee. Nduu becomes an apparent cheerleader; CT decided to stay home as his calculator can't work these numbers anymore 😂😂
Wuueeh!!!
wacha siasa . Jimmy has been doing well by Kenyans. so far
pia wewe umeona....yaaniii omg....at this point ...wanjigi ..

I am kindly asking Wanjigi and Spice TV to organise classes on Economic rights and current issues in Kenya and the World at large and we will pay for these lessons.
Exactly
True Jimmy I am seeing it. I will give you my vote come 2027
In his insightful discussion, he foresaw the emancipation and revolution. ⭐️ Thank you, Jimi Wanjigi, for your service, and kudos to ‘The Situation Room’ for providing him with a platform.
I love hon jimmy wanjigi,he always talk the truth, but no one will listen, coz we have lion in the government eating meat, while hustler is waiting for the bone.
“It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal.”
“America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests.”
Ruto is a thief. Are listening to the speaker.Where is he taking the money he has borrowed.Ruto and his friends are buying properties both locally and abroad.
Wanjigi is the man ,we need an economist Kenya needs him iam from western province , wanjigi ana kura yangu
😅😅 an economist you say
He studied political science, not economics
It doesn't matter@@denismigayi8513
The fact that you had to mention kura and your region means that you believe in tribal voting. Vote bases on substance regardless of your region. Kenya is one.
@@denismigayi8513 you hear a man encouraging a country to default on international obligations then you suddenly realize you are dealing with a street guy who can't visualize the macroeconomic impact of such decisions.
Jimmy Wanjigi is a good contender for the 2027 presidency. I really wish people vote for him, for once vote for someone based on their policies, not nonsense like tribal background.
Kikuyu must wait until 2050
@@suleimanjannabo313 and you wonder whats wrong with kenya! enda ukakojoe ulale kaka.
@@suleimanjannabo313 just in case you are wondering why... We don't care about the tribe. We ONLY need competent Lawful people to lead this nation. what you just said is 70% why Kenya is DROWNING.
When Jimmy Wanjigi gave the history of "planned poverty" I knew Kenya has her next leader...he is educating Africans on our economic history, just as Malema has done in South Africa.
Kenya needs a Kagame, a Traore, etc. Ruto is an undereducated buffoon. What I respect William Ruto for, is showing the world Kenya can raise the absolute poorest to sit at State Dinners with world leaders! Well done Samoei. But Samoei is not equiped in any way for the economic battke Kenya needs to fight and win. No criminal is. Thats why even Uhunye coukd not win or fight it.
It needs someone like Traore or even stronger than that.
Kagame? Really.. it's good to shut up when you don't know what you're saying..
@@1GStain we all know Kagame has his haters...but like you said, it is good to shut up when you have no clue what he has done for that country...if you could do what he has done for his country for your own family, the whole world would know and respect your fam.

I didn't see this "Ruto is an undereducated buffoon" statement coming🤣🤣🤣🤣....but its very true
We can trust what Jimmy says since no one has come out to disprove what he says. Thank you for opening our eyes.
Jimmy is convincing me to vote for him as 2027 president. Great economist 🎉
He is not an economist.

@@onpurpose292So bad that crooks always wins in Kenya 😢
Should be elected today not 2027
The media is failing us. How come nobody is airing Wanjigi's gospel
kindly have a smartboard in studio so that Jimmy can write this figures down as we calculate together.. his knowledge of finance and governance is extremely useful.
Wow, always mind boggling revelation, I trust and believe one day Kenyans shall up rise just like before to claim our right, it shall be messy.
He has heavy points. Now I know better.
This interview should get a larger audience...be taken to a bigger platform.
Madlyafrican, I fully agree 👍 isn't it time Wanjigi sought elective office, preferably President?
He us the best opposition leader.shud take over from baba
Sadly he sought severally but was swallowed by all the tialala bullsh*t
Jimmy, i am a young graduate from ku, i believe you have a vision for change and i would like to join safina party. Kenya needs change and its not those in office who are going to bring the change, we have to do it ourselves
Me too. i will join the safina Party. I never thought of joining any political party ,but now i feel the purpose to do so
😊
i have been listening to Jimmy wanjigi for a while now and i can attest that he understand this country better than anyone else.. i think he need to be given that chance to become the president of this country...
I love the way Jimmy Wanjigi laughes. His laugh comes from deep within, it's from a confident man, an authoritative man, and most important, a happy man. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for people like Jimmy to watch what is happening to this country. Blatant disregard for the law by the leaders, this is how anarchy starts, you push people and push them until they can stand it no more.
Wanjigi for President. He understands Value For Money. It's serious the way Uhuru played us on the economy. I will vote for Wanjigi this time.
Such a stimulating conversation! Jimi’s visits to this show are just the best🔥🔥. This man is passionate about this country.
Such a stimulating conversation
am listening to mr.wanjigi and i cant allow myself to comprehend the situation we are in...truth is i feel like we are making steps to the same situation as the country of MALI.....Ruto is the next ATT of mali
Love listening to Jimmy Wanjigi…He comes with facts and very logical in his thinking❤❤
"We are now in another phase in the era of Economic Rights, in this era it is about Baking the cake, who is baking the cake and for whose benefit and the fight in baking the cake is a fight and a half" - Jimmy Wanjigi.
Wanjigi should start campaigning for presidency at this time. Most Kenyans are looking for solutions and he has them.
Keep it up Jimmy we are listening.
Genz should have a meeting with Njagi...we need you to educate us sir.
My thoughts too,Jimmy should be the personal adviser of Jimmy wanjigi.
Spread the information.
This is the man
I started showing interest in business and politics because of him.
I would like to meet you one day Mr.president acha nimalize shule kwanza
A great conversation, making it easy to understand the economic situation of our country.
Wanjigi. Has a lot of understanding in monrey issues . Continue oversighting this government and inform the public Very impressive talk
Jimmy wanjigi truly cares for this country from the many times I've seen him come to this talk show!! I wish this government listens to him
Stop wishing. The government won't listen.
Your shows are always always good but try to do away with people(cleaners) movements here n there in your background when the show is running to make it more quality. Or coverup glass walls/windows around.
Wanjigi should be nominated to parliament
Noooo if he's nominated then he'll have to sing to the tune of a political party.
I properly disagree.......His Noise is too relevant to be ignored or played down to MP level. Parliament is already compromised. His noise is educative and we need more of this snipped and shared on TikTok where the masses are #NdioWaelewe.
What an insightful discussion. Wanjigi is brilliant. I have been educated. My eyes have been opened. The guy understands Kenya's economy. He has facts.
Brilliant man, well articulated.
Wanjigi the way you laugh with all your teeth😂😂😂😂😂😂😂wehhh
The brilliance in interpreting abt finance bill is amazingly clear that I have picked important things. Kenyans we are fools, why not elect a bright business minded smart man like Jimmy. I love you sir and the news anchors. My vote come 2027 is save
issue is GenZ hawana Voting Morale the ones in Power waliekwa na washamba
Wanjigi is the most educated, informed, thorough, contented aand coolest boomer/millenial we have!! Respect to this guy, COUNT MY VOTE ANYDAY SIR
Watching this after githurai massacre😮Truly we are fighting for our economic rights🙏
This videos with Jimi will forever be idealised as Kenya as a body with an infection and now the body is in shock.
This is an amazing conversation. It should be transmitted in all the social media and main media platforms.
It has gotten to a point where i don't know who to trust any more. Am just tired.
It's time to trust God only. Don't trust even yourself 😅
I meant the way these politicians speak is not what they do when they clinch power so i don't know who to believe. Of course i believe in God 100%.
If u think those at the top really have ur interests I dunno
This is a very enlightening discussion. A clear exposure of the grey areas where ufisadi is hidden. Please let this be made available to the wananchi. The youth rebellion is understandable and completely justified. There is an obvious initial solution: waonyeshe mlango hao wafisadi. Wafukuzeni jamani. Hawa waheshimiwa mabingwa wa uchumi wawe viongozi wapya. Kenya Oyee!!! Afrika Oyee!!! A Luta Continua!!!
We should start dealing with corruption China style. IF you're just suspected you're killed. Wes should be patriotic and protect our heritage and that of our children and generation to come. All these misappropriation of monies causes us problems and the future. economic hard times, lack of jobs for our youths, poor health and education systems, crime rate increase and loss of hope for most people.
I wish Kenyans realizes this man but we are still blinded by the hustler villager thing not knowing it is just leaders who are playing games on us
We must never forget, at one of his party functions in the lead up to the elections, he invited William Ruto who attended, and I also think he had planned to work with his coalition. It is guys like Jimi Wanjigi, and there are many of them in THENTRAL Kenya that has brought us here. The beauty in seeing all this unfold is that those who thought they would be safe and get protection from Ruto will be the first ones to start crying.
Still, I must admit I love listening to how much economic information he has. That information should be dispensed to his people.
we need to give him Nairobi This man always has my Vote, he is exeptional in economics expecially if your blessed to hear him up close.
If indeed we are broke as Wanjigi says, then call the CS Treasury to come and defend his figures and actions.
maybe the battle is bigger than William Samoei Ruto... good point
Hon.Jimmy Wanjigi, you have my vote 2027.60 years after independence Kenyans are suffering because of electing selfish and uncouth leaders whose goal is all about them and their cronies.
Brilliant discussion. Thank you Jimmy. Even if we take the criminals to court, they have lined up the courts with their own judges who will not stand up for Kenyans😮
Wah...leo Eric amepatikana...he fa&fo hajui chochote tryna question Jimi's deep understanding of these things.🤭..Kweli asiyefunzwa na Jimi atafunzwa na Ruto & KK company.
I think he's diving into the matter from the perspective of a regular kenyan to give us a better understanding of it
Watching this after the chaos that occurred and it now makes sense why people went to riot
I have listened jimy and omari on the badgers and appropriation budgets and IAM completely convinced come next election we elect wanjigi as president to take care of thieves
Jimmy Wanjigi I would like to let you know that unless three things change, I'll assure you the situation is becoming more and more awkward as days goes by. The three things are,
1. Corruption.
2. Mindset.
3. Data collection.
Jimmy Wanjigi you should begin from being an Mp upto the big office, you give insights and knowledge from the unknown
Donald trump was never a congressman or a senator before he became a president
The only way for a country's situation to improve is to make the people produce for consumption and export. Anything else is just juggling the same balls and expecting a different outcome, which is insanity.
Always a joy to hear Jimmy talk🎉
This is just mind blowing... jimmy has awakened me
We did not elect ruto to tell us we are bankrupt, we elected him to oversee us through the bankruptcy
Ruto was not elected
😂😂😂
😂
ruro was not voted he is an American plant....to do American bidding
How far has he seen you through your bankruptcy?
I also agree with Wanjigi, IMF are complicit in this whole scenario. They are benefiting and will keep silent.
The problem is, Wanjigi even with all this wisdom never campaigns seriously for the seat. Like right now he should come out seriously and show Kenyans he want the seat. But atangojea mpaka 2027 harafu watu washamsahau. However what does he has to loose, nothing. But us the young people will sleep without food. We love you Wanjigi.. please keep your presence on....Align with the gen z...kina Kangai....and we will support you. As a person from finance background, I have always listened to you and you understand the economy
Then share the video or tell a friend to come watch and share too, let's help him reach more people, he may be rich but not criminally rich like the others to throw big money on campaigns and bribes
Av listen d and relistened and man Mr. Wanjigi asante sana. Spice platform is the best. Thanks giys very insightful
The people of the mountain are finally feeling it. They have voted time and again based on ' mtu wetu' while the rest of the country suffered. Their vote finally backfired on them. The rest of the country has been suffering since independence..not the two tribes...at least they have businesses that are finally suffering. Most of the rest of us were struggling to even put food on the table all along. Hope they can learn lessons and stop believing mtu wetu politics. That is the only way we can rescue Kenya, united.
Why don't you guys understand the word jimmy is saying, planned poverty,it's a neo colonialism strategy, so unless the masses get educated on this matter and we find away to defend ourselves,it's doesn't matter the region the president come from,he gonna be made to do dirty works for foreign elites or be killed, and this is why so many pro africans leaders have been assassinated from independence.
We need Jimmy as president and Omtata as the deputy. Kenya will never be the same again! You have my vote sir!
This is a great way of campaigning for the next election. Jimmy has one agenda; debt and economic freedom. We are hearing your agenda for this country, your manifesto. By 2027 we'll be ready for you because we have listened to you daily. No need for standing on top of a car with a mega phone
We need a solution for IEBC and stealing of votes because they may try to push zakayo back on the tree
At least I have been taught, keep up Mr. Wanjigi
Informative information for knowledge seekers listening is an important asset. Continue listening for better knowledge and leading narratives on the SUBJECT,INTERESTS for the learning process for better understanding knowledge for lasting better satisfying knowledge conclutions.
I might as well go back to school and do economy, I need to sue Hustler Fund. all my kids will do economics, law and history.
Miguna & Wanjigi could really make this country great again 💯🔥
Haha
Miguna is a noisemaker... Wanjigi speak facts with evidence, and never talk ill of other people
Miguna?! .... Come in man .... Maybe Omtata
Miguna it's a NO!!😂😂
@@kabuthakabutha9472 reason being?
The arguments by Wanjigi always make a lot of sense to me. Obviously parliament aids the executive to break the law. What bothers me, why doesn't Wanjigi move to court like Omutatah to stop these illegalities?
I want to work closely with Jimmy Wanjigi , if we are to make any tangible changes in Kenya, We don’t have accountability in government expenditure, this is a super highway to anarchy.
Jimmy you have my vote and I will offer myself to campaign for you
This man has my vote in 2027❤
Latif makes these conversations harder than they need to be he is not balanced he always making people breaking the law seem like "a few technicalities" in country where theft is the order of the day.Ati you take the cost before the design of the house 😅
