How do you like to chop your firewood?

Great video. I plan on using your strap method in the future. Thank you.

Wow! It must be very mild in the winter in your parts if you only go through one cord! I'll hopefully be purchasing your 4k stove really soon to put in the bathroom of our off grid cabin!

Cool! Our winters can be single degrees with up to 3 feet of snow. The tiny wood stove is pretty efficient. Plus Nick's tiny house is well insulated.

Ive recently started using a chain and a short bungee cord to hold my wood together while splitting, so I don't have to worry as much about chopping through the line if my swing goes astray.

So, the purpose of the strap is to keep logs standing while you chopping them?

Yes, it keeps them upright and orderly so you can make multiple chops without having to reset each chunk of wood every time you split it.
