Awesome video! I can vouch that the The Dwarf 3kw Small Wood Stove is perfect for any cozy, off-grid cabin build. Not only can it be used to cook, if you’re like that. It also can be used to heat the entire cabin. The The Dwarf 3kw Small Wood Stove is truly the best deal on the market as small wood stoves go. Great quality, great production. Overall incredible product.
I am SO glad i stumbled onto this video!! JUST this morning my wife and i discovered Tiny Stoves . . . and BAM, your video!! OUTSTANDING!! Thank you for a great dyi video!!
Of course!! Thanks for the kind words. I’d appreciate if you haven’t got one already using the link in my description to do so! Great way to support the channel! All the best.
If I can give you a possitive suggestion, you put a frame all around you heat shield and there is no place at the bottom to let the cool air come in between the wall and the shield, and putting a frame all around the hot air doesn't have any place to escape, the top one should also be open to circulate air. I just made myself a sauna and I have put old tin around the stove and I have install the heat shield about 6 inches from floor and screw 1 inch spacer between the wall and the heat shield like this air go through it, and it my sauna go up to 100 celcius in there ;) Nice stove by the way ;)
@@dialtommy At first I said myself the same thing, but when I saw that the bottom was touching the ground and block, there is no circulation, if you want to help right now, you can drill some hole on top of the piece of wood that you put on top, air will go through a bit more but still no air coming from the bottom, it can be an easy fix. Have fun with the stove, you know that there is little fan that goes on those stove, no plug in nothing the heat make it turn itself, I have two on my wood stove in my living room, it make a big difference ;)
Happy to see someone take the time and show every little aspect of the install. Great video and very calm everyone was was. Gonna be getting one too, but for a greenhouse in the winter.
That will be awesome! Would love to see how that turns out. Be sure to use the link in the description of the video! Would really appreciate it! All the best.
Awesome stove! I'm about to order the same one but can't decide between the 3k or the 4k. If you had to do it all over again, would you still get the 3k or would you go bigger?
Honestly I’d do the 4K just so I could use bigger logs for a bit longer burn time. But the 3k is awesome and packs a great punch! You can’t go wrong with either one! 3k is perfect for my spot. Make sure to use the link in the description of this video! I’d really appreciate the support!
@@dialtommy I was wondering about that, good video. I have a 800 square foot cabin. Need something smaller. Either just to eat my bedroom 12x12' where is 8 ft ceiling,, or to put in the living room. 12x22' with 8 to 12 ft ceiling. What do you suggest? I need something that I can clean the pipes easily cuz I'm going to be using a lot of pine that's down on my property from hurricane Helene. I want a flute this easier to clean. It will go out the side of my cabin, not out the roof. Suggestion?
Your heat shield is trapping hot air with the top horizontal board and that it is tight to the floor. You created a fire hazard by design. The air needs to flow through your heat shield to work properly. Raise the metal 2” and remove the horizontal top board so you can enjoy your cabin instead of watching it burn down
You paid $800 for that stove. What a waste of money! You could have bought a guide gear for around $200 and it is same quality. Let me know when you are buying something else so I can sell you an overpriced item and laugh about it again. 🤣
What a joke. Coming from the “electric life” liberal city life channel 🤣. Not all stoves are created equal. You could never find one with all the piping for $200. Maybe a cheap canvas tent stove.
Maybe go look at the reviews of the guide gear, smell’s terrible, the seals aren’t quality and some of them fall apart. Sometimes the money is worth it 🤡
I was so surprised how heavy it was and each stove pipe was insulated! The quality of the stove and piping was second to none!!!

@@dialtommy will do!!
That’s an awesome little stove
That thing is beautiful. Awesome stuff.
I love it dude. I’d get a recliner in there and never leave😂
Wow amazing!! What an awesome little stove! Perfect for a small cabin!
Great little stove for a small cabin. Love the coyotes singing at the end❤

My thought process was the ridge on the tin would allow air in and out!! Thanks for the idea!

I've decided on the 4k... trying to get a decent overnight(ish) burn if possible. Thanks for the feedback, man! I will definitely use your link!

Too bad you didn’t order the rear exit Tee and clean out. Then you could’ve used the top of the stove to cook with also
Yeah would have made it much easier! There’s still some room for cooking.
Worst case can also change it down the line. Wouldn’t be too tough!

Thanks for the concern. We are fixing it soon. Got a spacer kit on the way to make it as efficient & safe as possible. Take care.
