Wow Jerry Birch what a wild ride . Never lift, wild man. The SEG just keeps getting bigger and better what a great race this has turned out to be. The people involved in this are all down to earth. I hope to see you all at Clay city in 2019. Thanks to all the competitors for a great season this year.
There looks like almost more people then a professional nhra race bet if you had more room and bigger stands there would be I need to get something like this started in the north west then have a winter showdown with the sega but idk if it’s possible in my area only thing we got going is some cool old tracks left
Southeast Gassers Association let me know I would be more then willing to help with anything on this end I am a young guy and work for myself and have a lot of free time do you have somewhere that would be easier to get in contact with you idk you may have seen the car I am building on Facebook and IG I tag the SEGA in a lot of my post and have made friends with a few of you guys it the pink 57 Chevy named borrowed time that has been a race car for most all it’s life look me up on IG earlsgarage_ we also have some pretty cool tracks around my state my local track has been around since the mid 50s
Southeast Gassers Association I’ll send you an email with my phone number I don’t check my email often lol but sometimes do if I know something is coming
I'm also in Texas and searching for a similar group to yours. I can't travel out of state but I can do Houston area tracks. @@SoutheastGassersAssociation
I love watching SEGA, I live in North Alberta Canada and will probably never be able to make it to an event. But I have a slight complaint or maybe lets make it a request. We always seem to see the same cars time after time, they said they had 74 cars and we get to see 15-20 of the same cars each video. How about showing some different cars and different drivers, just a thought.
Another FANTASTIC year of 60's style, heads up drag racing. Thank you Quain Stott and everyone involved with the Southeast Gasser's Association! Ya'll have created something truly special. I also love that you closed the season out with reading from the scriptures. Doesn't get any better. See ya'll in 2019!! #makedragracinggreatagain
For sure Ed, that's the reason the gasser class was started in the 1950's. NHRA didn't have a class for cars with engine transplants so the the Gas class was started. The reason it was called gas was because that was rule number one. any engine in any body but it had to run on Gas.
Thaaaaaaaank Yooooooou!!!!
Thanks for a great season of racing. Love watching when I can. I love gassers, even though I'm stuck in an altered state of mind. 😉

Enjoyed the racing on you tube. Watching from S. Korea. Grew up in No. 1 and remember when Shady Side was a dirt track.
A dirt drag strip. Definetly sounds southern.
Excellent stuff. Another very enjoyable season. Thank you for sharing this on TH-cam.
Thanks for your support

Great racing to cap off the season. Freebird had the best pass of the meet, never lifting, kissing the wall multiple times.
Great racing 👍
Awesome! Love those Gassers!
Thanks
Make double sure you come back to Indiana!! It's a great day when SEGA comes to town.
Shadyside in April here we come
See you there

Is it allowable to have different engine makes for a certain body ? Example SBC in a Mustang.
