So much negative- things going on right now and it was just nice to see real Americans having a gr8 time.God Bless -Happy Memorial Day
Sorry to hear about Sonny, my condolences go out to his family. At last SEGA is go. Some nice looking new cars and some nice looking new paint jobs on established cars. Great to see Huff pick up a win, he's been there from the very start. Good news on the sponsor front. Onwards and upwards. Great show guys, gassers rule.
Thanks a whole bunch 👏 “Yup” Time to watch-em -banger-bangers-banging-it wheeler~wheels~wheeling~it Them having fun !🤩 Us being entertained!😉👌😎 & Special Thanks 🙏 you all for covering this event as well as many others past-present-n-future!!!!!!! Great 👍 Video”A1”
Stop selling our tracks dtag racing is in Americas blood bring it back who ever does will be an in stant muti million air keep our kids off the road and at the track .now they closed down new jersey.more people racing on the roads .wake up someone .
There is a guy from England coming to our Piedmont race this weekend May 25th. He's flying inn just for our race. We have that all of the time. Hope you can make it one day.
Most excellent boys! Holley's on board,, now how 'bout Enderle, Dana, Borg-Warner, Muncie, Crane, J&E,etc, etc,, wouldn't that be cool! Yiou fellas have set the standard for the rest of USA to follow and unless I and thousands of others aren't mistaken we're a gonna see your example followed in the Pacific NW (can hardly wait for Gassers to come back to my area!!), in the SW, in MidAmerica, in the NE will be following suit soon - we hope. Street Outlaws have had a time grabbing TV cash,, time for Gassers to grab some of those BIG BUCKS! The wheels up gear grabb'n action, those wonderful ladies backing the cars up in their period correct get up, the sounds, the smells of burning 7" slicks, the entire "affordable" family oriented experience is long overdue don't 'cha think! NHRA have just about priced themselves out of the picture for middle income America. Time for a rebirth of drag racing that just about any fan can afford to enjoy for a weekend at the track.
Dont stop in the USA, we only get to see AUS gassers on nostalgia days down under. Its a crying shame, many old timers might come back if gassers had a series in AUS.
John z I can almost feel your excitement reading your comment. We plan to expand as the car count grows. Thanks for your support and until then you might have to make a road trip to see us. Thanks again Quain Stott.
There is not another group in the world that has the strict rules the SEGA has to keep the cars as close as possible to the way they were in the 1960's. We have several that race with us from Missouri. We will be in Lyons Indiana in July.
NeilLB7 NGK is an official sponsor of the SEGA. They’ve been around for over 80 years and the logo has never changed. We’re grateful for them and they definitely belong.
Tom we have one in Lyons Indiana July 28th. We will be in Clay City Kentucky this Saturday May 5th. Here's a link to our main web site where you will find all of the race dates and our very strict rules that keep the cars era correct for the 1960's. . www.southeastgassers.com/
For some reason this new video setting you have this year doesn't seem to be quiet as nostalgic as you had last year. Definitely too much fish eye at the finish line.
I appreciate the input. I do the videos for the Southeast Gassers. Unfortunately at Shadyside there is no room to set the finish line camera back any further from the track, so I need to shoot at a wide setting so you can see the cars for more than a half second. Thanks again for watching.

Whoa whoa whoa WHOA is H/Gas a permanent class with the SEGA? Or is this just a once in a while thing? That would be fantastic to watch!
Rest in Peace, Ronnie Buff!

Quain Stott.
Hats off to SEGA on another great event and coverage ! Anyone out there know how many cars entered in each class and/or total cars for the event ?
tim rayburn we had 64 entered, but a couple broke in Friday night testing.
Thanks for the info
Correct me if I'm wrong, your rules states inline carbs placement, but why is the silver streak II exempt from it?
The rule is new for 2018. His are straight now. There were several sideways last year but all fixed now. Our rules get tougher every year.
This is awesome. Is there a Gasser association in the Midwest (Missouri) area?
There is not another group in the world that has the strict rules the SEGA has to keep the cars as close as possible to the way they were in the 1960's. We have several that race with us from Missouri. We will be in Lyons Indiana in July.
I notice an NGK spark plug decal on the Silver Streak? Does that fit the rules of Southeast Gassers?
NeilLB7 NGK is an official sponsor of the SEGA. They’ve been around for over 80 years and the logo has never changed. We’re grateful for them and they definitely belong.
If I were still and operator, I would book this act FAST. How far north do these guys come?

Are these cars exactly like they would be back In the day ? Or are they juiced up ?
No way to make them exactly like they were but the SEGA is the closest in the world to correct.
Great stuff love seeing American heavy metal doing wheel stands down the track and banging gears
Lovely

Drone South ,
Ahh yes, it's not always doable to get the best angle.
Yeah Baby, The SEG is back.
